Chapter 276
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 276 I Am Not a Pa*sive Person
At last, Abigail and Ronaldo went to another restaurant to have their lunch.
After lunch, she drove him back to L.Moon, but realized that he, who sat in the front pa*senger seat, ke
pt staring at her.
âWhatâs wrong?â she asked subconsciously.
âWere you⦠married to Sean before?â Ronaldo asked tentatively. If truth be told, he had already figure
d it out even though Lina didnât point out clearly who Abigail had a divorce with.
âYeah, but weâre divorced now. It isnât something worth publicizing, right?â Abigail replied nonchalantly.
In other words, she was hinting at him that she hoped he wouldnât tell anyone else.
Looking at her completely indifferent attitude, Ronaldo rested his chin on his hand and observed her. âD
id you leave him because you didnât like him?â
âMr. Fernandez, I donât think we are that close to the point where we can discuss private matters with e
ach other.â Abigailâs side profile appeared indifferent, and her tone sounded gentle yet autocratic. âBesi
des, I dislike talking about private matters with my clients.â
âMs. Quinn, youâre too serious!â Ronaldo complained under his breath.
Seeing that he was fooling around, Abigail, too, restrained her solemn demeanor. âHave you found out t
he origin of Micahâs virus?â
âI have asked someone
to look into it. Donât worry. There should be information about it in the next two days,â Ronaldo said bef
ore suddenly leaning forward. Curious, he asked, âWhatâs your plan to deal with Kelly?â
âYouâll know when the time comes.â Abigail raised the corner of her mouth slightly, looking enigmatic.
Upon hearing that, Ronaldo said joyfully, âI shall look forward to your big plan, then.â
âMr. Fernandez, we may have suffered a loss this time, but the benefits that await us later will be endle
ss,â Abigail stated.
Sure enough, the reason Ronaldo came here this time wasnât purely to chat and have lunch with
her.
Considering that Abigail had given her employees half a day off, the current atmosphere in the whole st
udio was quiet.
After unlocking the door and entering the studio, Abigail headed straight to the office while Ronaldo foll
owed closely.
As they stood at the door of the office, Abigailâs originally benign expression turned extremely cold the
moment she opened the door.
Micah, who was tied to a chair, lowered her head in defeat when she saw her enter
Perhaps she, too, didnât expect that Ronaldo would find someone to capture her at the airport and send
her back after she left the country.
up
âMicah, you have only two options now. You can either be sent to the police station and get locked
behind bars for a few years, or you can tell me honestly who the instigator is. I wonât hold you accounta
ble if you tell me.â Abigail stood before the woman and looked at her condescendingly, her tone eerie a
nd merciless.
âJust send me to the police station and let me be imprisoned for a few years, then,â Micah said, exudin
g the vibe of completely giving up on herself.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo glanced at her. I canât believe Micah would rather go to jail than tell us the instigat
or!
âYou are merely doing it for the money, arenât you? Tell you whatâ
I will pay twice as much as the amount the other party pays you.â Abigail raised her hand and pinched
Micahâs chin, her eyes filled with venom.
âI did it because I am annoyed by you. Stop wasting time and ask the police to come and arrest. me alr
eady!â Micah glared at her arrogantly, and at the same time, her hatred for Abigail emerged inexplicably
.
After loosening her grip on Micahâs chin indifferently, Abigail stood up straight and looked at her as thou
gh she was looking at garbage. âMr. Fernandez, you have ways to check the accounts of all her family
members, right?â
âNo
doubt. None can escape.â Ronaldo didnât take Micahâs unyielding attitude seriously at all and responde
d with a smile on his face.
However, Micah snorted, not fearing their threat.
âYou are so confident because you think your backer is more powerful than me and can protect you, bu
t have you forgotten that the deed you and your backer did is a crime? The mills of God grind slowly
but surely. As long as you violate the law, you will get caught sooner or later. When that happens, who
else will defend your interest?â Abigail looked at Micah as if she was looking at a fool.
âJust sue me, Abigail.â With that, Micah lowered her eyes and stopped looking at her.
At this Juncture, Abigail knew there was no point in talking about it anymore.
Therefore, she left the office with Ronaldo. She sat
on the couch, took out two bottles of water from underneath the coffee table, and handed one to him.
âDamn it! Her l*ps sure are tight!â Ronaldo took the bottle of water and commented, his voice tinged wit
h anger.
âNo matter how tight her l*ps are, she is still a human. Every human has a weakness.â Abigail calmly tw
isted the cap and took a sip of water.
âWhat if she refuses? It will be difficult for us to deal with Kelly.â A rare hint of worry flickered across Ro
naldoâs face as he held the bottle of mineral water.
Our position will remain disadvantageous until we possess definite personal or material evidence.
At that thought, he involuntarily looked at Abigail, only to see her drinking her water slowly
with calmness in her eyes.
Seeing that she was sinking into her thoughts, Ronaldo stopped talking. Instead, he rested his chin on
his hand and observed her.
âPerhaps we have been advancing in the wrong direction,â Abigail suddenly said to him.
At once, Ronaldo gathered his thoughts and asked, âWhat?â
âKeep investigating. As for me, I have some things that I need to deal with recently, so thatâs it for today,
â she instructed.
âThen how about Micah? Are we going to
continue to tie her up here?â He stood For a moment, he couldnât catch what decision she had made.

after Abigail.
âSomeone will send her to the police station. Our studio will be cooperative regarding the investigation
procedure.â With that, Abigail walked out the door.
Ronaldo immediately followed. âWhoa! You sure are swift in changing your mind.â
âWe canât keep getting ourselves into dead ends. Otherwise, it will be very pa*sive, and I am not a pa*si
ve person, alright?â Standing by the door, Abigail raised her eyebrows and elaborated to him.
Since she rarely made such an expression, it made her look expressive for a moment.
Ronaldoâs heart skipped a beat out of surprise. He then walked out of L.Moon in a daze and couldnât re
gain consciousness for a while.
