Chapter 439
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 439 Abigailâs Little Helper
After Luna left to handle some matters, Cameron found himself bored outside and sneaked into
Abigailâs workspace.
Abigail noticed him entering but merely glanced at him before returning to her work.
âYou donât mind me being here, do you?â he asked with a smile.
âI donât mind as long as you donât reveal my designs,â she replied in a relaxed tone.
Cameron chuckled, walked over, and sat on a single-scat couch before playing with his phone while.
observing Abigail working.
âShould you find it boring, feel free to step out. Iâll give you a call if I require anything, and you can
return. within half an hour,â Abigail expressed, finding it challenging to focus with him around.
He pocketed his phone. âItâs indeed a bit boring here, and I feel almost guilty for my salary. Itâs too
easygoing.â
âThere isnât much to do right now, but when I need to make purchases, Iâll need your help,â she
explained. âYouâll be paid for the physical labor a few times a month.â
Cameron sighed. âSo, can I go out for a stroll?â
âSure. If you stay here, I might get distracted, Abigail replied before returning to her work.
When he reached the door, he suddenly paused. âMiss Quinn, why are you so quick to trust me?â
âCall me Ms. Quinn. Iâm not really trusting you; itâs just that youâve worked with me for some time, and
Iâm willing to give you a chance, she replied calmly.
He responded with an âohâ and then smiled. âMs. Quinn, you have a really kind heart; youâll have great
luck.â
Abigail didnât respond; she was too focused on her clothing designs.
Cameron went outside to make a call to Sean. Once the call connected, he said casually, âMs. Quinn
has accepted me, but my work is quite easy. Can I have another job in your company?â
âIf Abigail finds out, sheâll say itâs all part of our plan. Stay by her side and work well. When I need you,
you can come back,â Sean said and then hung up.
Cameron instantly became a free man and felt a bit uneasy. He spent the whole day outside and
returned to the company. Abigail was still in her workspace, busy with a real sewing machine.
âHave you had dinner?â he asked her.
âThe company has a cafeteria, and my grandma runs it. There should still be some food left. You can
go to the office lounge and ask my grandma.â She a*sumed he wanted to eat.
Iâve already eaten, but I thought you hadnât, so I wanted to get you something.â he said as he tried to
make himself useful.
âThe company provides three meals a day. You can save some money and find a place closer to the
company to live Abigail advised kindly

Cameron had been staying in hotels with Sean, so her suggestion caught him off guard.
It seemed that she was genuinely trying to establish herself in Capitalis.
âIâll check tomorrow,â he replied.
âItâs the end of the workday now, so you can continue exploring,â she said before resuming her work
and focusing intently on the sewing machine.
âIâll leave later. How about you? When do you finish work?â he asked curiously.
Abigail glanced at Cameron and asked, âWhy?â
âOf course, thereâs a reason,â he replied.
She remained silent for a moment and then replied, âI guess it will be around 11.00PM or 12.00AM. Iâm
staying at the company, so I donât need to rush for the subway or anything.â
He couldnât help but exclaim. âYouâre really pushing yourself too hard. Youâll exhaust yourself like this.â
âIâm still young. Donât jinx me. If thereâs nothing else, go and donât interfere with my work,â Abigail said
while continuing to sew.
Cameron sighed. âYouâre willing to work yourself to exhaustion because itâs your company?â
She didnât pay much attention to him.
âAll right. You can take a break, and Iâll give you a shoulder ma*sage to relax your muscles. Youâll work
more efficiently once youâre comfortable,â he suggested before stretching his muscles.
She had been sitting all day, and her back was feeling stiff.
âThat sounds good,â she said as she stood up.
Outside the workspace, Abigail lay on the couch, and Cameron started ma*saging her shoulders.
âIf you donât let me do something, Iâll be too anxious about those 3,000,â he joked while ma*saging her
shoulders.
Even though his hands were quite strong, she felt relaxed. âIf you have nothing to do, you can give me
at shoulder ma*sage. I work late like this every day,â she said.
Cameron agreed, and he couldnât help but feel that Abigail was working too hard.
After ma*saging for half an hour, she was concerned that he should leave. He walked to the door and
looked at her before sighing and departing.
She worked so hard for herself; if she was not successful, who would be?
After leaving L. Moon, Cameron was about to head home. However, when he turned around, he saw a
familiar car entering L.Moonâs parking lot. He narrowed his eyes and watched for a while but didnât
leave.
Shortly after, Scarlett emerged from the darkness and entered L. Moon. Cameron followed her.
The door to Abigailâs workspace was knocked on, but before she could respond, it was pushed open.
Scarlett stood in the doorway and said, âI need to order a dress for my daughter. Iâm willing to pay any
amount.â
âUnfortunately, Iâm unable to commit, even with an enticing offer,â Abigail responded in a firm tone. She
had previously turned down Scarlettâs proposal after not winning the award. With her recent
achievement in securing the award, Abigail was resolute in not allowing Kelly to showcase any of her
designs.
