Chapter 51
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 51 Youâre Not an Embarra*sment
Abigail pursed her l*ps and gazed at Sean as well. She smirked. âDonât say that about yourself. The wh
ole teamâs praising you to the high heavens, and tons of women are waiting to be Youâre not an embarr

your bride.
He invested in the show and helped my grandma. Thereâs no need to cross him. Still, she was annoyed
by Joanâs smug attitude, and she thought a sarcastic remark was more than warranted, given that she
was still his wife.
Sean took off his pants right in front of her. âAre you one of those women, then?â
Hell no. I am not that kind of woman. Abigail thought he would at least
have some shame, but he didnât. He was being as
brazen as he could. Coolly, she said, âWhatever you say.â
Sean was prejudiced against her. If she made any mistake talking to him, he would use it to label her a
s a whore who would sleep with him for money. It was just like how she was called a gold digger when
she only wanted to happily marry him.
Abigail turned around and ignored him. She held up the file and put her ear against the door to listen to
what was going on outside. There were a couple of designers still chatting since she could hear snippet
s of their conversation. That was annoying. Itâs late. Why havenât they gone back to their rooms? Even i
f they want to chat, they can do it in their rooms, canât they?
While she was focused on the sounds outside, Sean suddenly hugged her.
Shocked, Abigail almost shouted, but she quickly covered her mouth. Her design drafts
fell to the ground, and her heart was racing.
Sean huddled closer and whispered almost coldly, âDonât you get tired of playing hard to get?â
Playing hard to get? Abigail felt fury flare right up to her head. She pushed against the door and tried to
shove Sean away. âOnce I am done with Grandmaâs case-â
Her sentence was cut off by a k*ss. Just then, Joan asked from outside the room, âAre you asleep,
Sean?â
Abigailâs heart squeezed, but Sean gave her a cryptic look and let her go. He was sure that she
wouldnât make a sound.
Abigailâs mind was in turmoil, but she was bothered by that look he gave her. She crouched down and
quickly picked up the drafts, then she shoved Sean away and tiptoed into the bathroom.
Once the door to the bathroom was closed, Sean wore his robe.
The phone on the bed rang, and Sean picked it up after he saw that it was from Joan. Without knowing
it, he gently said, âWhat is it?â
âI heard youâve come to the set. Are you in your room?â Joan purred.
Sean went to the door and opened it, still holding his phone. Joan put on a beautiful smile for him. âItâs l
ate. I hope Iâm not interrupting. Itâs been a while since I saw you.â
Abigail leaned on the wall, listening to Joan speak, and a smirk curled her l*ps. Iâm the wife, and yet Iâm
looking like the mistress here. This is ironic. That Sean is a b*stard.
Joan looked at Sean affectionately. âYou came all the way here even though itâs already this late? You c
ouldâve come tomorrow. I wouldnât have found out about it if I hadnât called Cameron.â
Joan thought he didnât know anyone else on the set and was only here to back her up. He prepared Oc
eanâs Heart and this manor, and now he came here himself. Of course, Joan was thinking he did
it for her.
All Sean could think about was Abigail so he didnât listen to what Joan was saying, but he grunted.
Delighted, Joan went red with embarra*sment and love, but she held herself back. âYouâre so nice to m
e. Youâre the best, Sean. I know you did a lot for me on this show, and Iâll do my best.â
Hearing Sean give Joan an answer made Abigail grab her drafts tightly, her nails almost digging into he
r skin. Now she knew what that look meant. He suspected that she and Luna were working
together, so he wanted Joan to find out she was in the same room with him and have Joan a*sert
dominance.
Abigail felt something welling up within her, and she opened her mouth to exhale. A long sigh
came out, and she calmed down.
âItâs late, so get some rest. The flight took a lot out of me,â said Sean, his voice tired.
Abigail harrumphed. He has enough money to boost his honeycakes to fame. Even if Joan doesnât
put in an ounce of effort, she can still make it to stardom.
