Chapter 549
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 549 Just One Look
Abigail worked tirelessly to prevent herself and her grandmother from being looked down upon by
others.
âThank you, Grandma.â With the gla*s of milk in her hand, she once again expressed her gratitude for
Analiseâs understanding.
Analise didnât follow Maisyâs path, who had forced Eric to marry someone who harmed him for the sake
of family harmony.
âGet some rest. Since youâre here, just treat it as a vacation,â Analise instructed.
In response, Abigail nodded once more.
âHow was your day with Sean?â Analise couldnât help but ask again.
âIt went well. Why do you ask?â Abigail pretended to ask seriously.
With a smile, Analise replied, âIâm just curious. Getting along well is more important than anything else.
Iâll go back to my room now.â
After she left, Abigail slowly sipped her milk, but her gaze was distant as if lost in thought.
Time pa*sed. On the third day, she received a call from Josh.
âCan you come back to Capitalis?â He sounded urgent.
âWhatâs the matter?â she asked, still sounding calm.
After a moment of silence, he said, âAbigail, there are things we havenât explained. You should be
aware of that, right?â
She didnât answer and was about to hang up.
Suddenly, he continued, âGrandpa is dying. He had a sudden cerebral hemorrhage. He wants to see
you.â
âWhat does it have to do with me?â Abigail coldly questioned him. âDonât use something like this to
manipulate me and try to get me to come back. Okay?â She couldnât control her tone and continued,
âMy grandma is my only grandmother, and thatâs the same for Grandpa! I donât have another
grandfather!â
Ericâs voice quivered. âAbigail, I beg you. Just come back and take a look. Just one look.â
If it werenât for the sudden health crisis of his grandfather, he wouldnât have bothered her at
all.
Abigailâs eyes welled up with tears, and she remained silent, her chest heaving.
At this moment, Sean entered the room and saw her standing there, clutching her phone. He
approached her and asked, âWhatâs wrong?â
With teary eyes, she looked at him. âI-Itâs nothing.â
She really hoped that the truth would remain buried until the day Analise peacefully departed. Why are
they suddenly asking me to go back now?
Hugging her shoulders, he said, âEverything will be fine. Your grandma and I are here for you.â
âI know itâs not right, but there are many things we want to explain to you on our side. Abigail, can you
please give us a chance?â Josh continued speaking on the phone, but he was choking up. âGrandpa
had a cerebral hemorrhage when he heard about you.â
Abigail sternly replied, âWhat does that have to do with me? Why are you disturbing my life? Iâve said it
before; Iâm not! Donât disrupt my life. Why are you doing this to me? Your family didnât raise me, and
neither did you appear when I needed my parents the most. Now, why do you want me to go back?â
Veins were popping on her forehead. After doing so many things to hurt me, they are now telling me
that we are a family?
When Analise entered the room, she came forward to embrace Abigail, who was squeezing her phone
tightly in her hand. Meanwhile, Lina stood at the roomâs door with a puzzled expression, and even
Colby couldnât help but sigh.
On the phone, Josh repeatedly apologized to Abigail.
After the call ended, Analise held Abigail and patted her back. âSean and I will accompany you to
Capitalis. No matter what happened in the past, we need to resolve it. Donât worry, Abigail. I will always
be your grandma.â
Lina, a little late to understand, finally realized that Abigailâs biological parents had found her. Her
parents are from Capitalis?
In the room, Abigail held Analise tightly. âGrandma, I donât want to.â
She was simply avoiding and resisting the Pearson Family. She didnât like them. She disliked the family
that hadnât raised her and that had bullied her and Luna for Kelly.
If they hadnât attacked I..Moon, Luna wouldnât have provoked Kelly, and all the subsequent events
wouldnât have happened.

âItâs okay, Abigail. Your situation back then was very complex, and I want to know the truth ast well.â
Analise coaxed her.
Yet, Abigail remained clung to her and swayed her b*dy, clearly being like a child asking for
consolation.
Watching from the side, Sean couldnât help but chuckle and stopped worrying so much.
âDonât worry, my dear. Letâs go and find out the truth, no matter what happened back then. Iâm more
eager than you to know what really happened.â Analise continued to comfort her.
Gradually, Abigail calmed down, and she looked up at Analise, whispering, âOkay.â
âDonât worry. Iâll say youâre mine, and no one can take you away from me. Cameron said that Iâm a
tough lady. If they try to take you from me, Iâll confront them.â Analise stood proudly. with her hands on
her hips.
âWhy does Cameron give you such nicknames?â Abigail was amused.
Smiling, Analise said, âThat guy is a joker; he can get along with people of all ages.â
As Abigail smiled, she glanced at Sean and suddenly felt a little embarra*sed.
Lina, who was standing at the door, asked awkwardly, âAbigail has found her family?â
âYes,â Analise replied.
âThen, go back and take a look. You should find out why they abandoned you so cruelly back then,â
Lina said tentatively.
âAbigail, the Graham Family also supports you. So what if itâs a family from Capitalis? I was a
remarkable figure when I was young. Iâm not afraid of them at all.â Colby puffed out his chest and spoke
firmly.
