Chapter 558
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 558 Letâs Be Together, Abigail
Sean approached Cameron and gazed at him. âCongratulations on being relieved of your duties. You
are now free and no longer obligated to risk your life for anyone but yourself.â
Abigail couldnât help but be moved by Seanâs words as well.
For the first time, Cameron felt content that he was fired. He swallowed hard and knelt on one knee.
âThank you, Mr. Graham. Iâm honored to have been with you all these years. Iâve discovered the true
meaning of life, and Iâve learned that life is precious and worth cherishing.â
Sean tousled his hair and said, âIndeed, Cameron. You should never have believed that life is
meaningless. What youâve accomplished is something we can only dream of achieving in a lifetime.
Sacrificing yourself to combat human trafficking organizations and safeguarding our homelandâs
borders⦠These are all remarkable achievements. Your grandmother would be proud of you.â
Cameron lowered his head, tears welling up in his eyes. âThank you, Mr. Graham.â
âGet up,â Sean said gently.
Cameron rose to his feet and looked at Abigail, who was deeply touched. âAbigail.â
Abigail was momentarily taken aback. Then, she chuckled and said, âYes, Cameron. Iâm going out to
have dinner with Mr. Graham. Would you like to join us?â
âSure. Iâm not done having fun yet.â Cameron loved going out and exploring. âXavien isnât as fortunate
as me. Clearly, I have boundless wealth and luxury when Iâm with Abigail. Youâre like a treasure,
Abigail.â
âI appreciate that,â Abigail responded with a hint of exasperation.
The three of them strolled down the street. Abigail and Sean had already made a restaurant
reservation, and they brought Cameron along to the restaurant.
âDid you have dinner with Grandma?â Abigail inquired, glancing at Sean.
Sean gazed up at the restaurantâs ceiling lights. âThese lights resemble raindrops. Theyâre quite
beautiful.â
Taking a deep breath, Abigail replied, âThis is a popular restaurant, so the design needs to be eye-
catching to attract customers.â
After they were seated, Abigail asked Cameron, âHave you eaten enough with Grandma?â
âI could eat more,â Cameron replied. As a b*dyguard, he had a hearty appetite, which contributed to his
robust physical condition.
âIn that case, feel free to order whatever you want,â Abigail warmly offered.
âWhy donât you ask me? Am I no longer important to you?â Sean couldnât help but ask.
âDonât you know if youâre hungry or full?â Abigail retorted. The reason she asked Cameron was that he
had already eaten. Since Sean hadnât eaten yet, she a*sumed he would be smart enough to place an
order himself.
âIâm just feeling jealous,â Sean openly admitted to Abigail.
Feeling the gaze of other diners, Abigail subconsciously adjusted her mask and said, âShut up, will
you? Just order something!â
âOkay, Abigail,â Sean replied.
Abigail rolled her eyes.
As they were halfway through their meal, Cameron excused himself to go to the bathroom. At that
moment, Sean leaned closer to Abigail and asked, âAre you satisfied with my physique today?â
Caught off guard, Abigail choked on her food and started coughing violently. She held a tissue over her
mouth and kicked Sean under the table, furious at his choice of topic.
Rubbing his leg with a smile, Sean handed her a gla*s of water. âDrink some water, Abigail.â
Abigail coughed even more at his remark. Sean patted her back, and Abigail gradually regained her
breath. She glared at him with teary eyes and said, âIf you do this again, you donât need to accompany
me anymore!â
âIsnât this how couples are supposed to be? Abigail, I want to experience a romantic relationship with
you,â Sean sincerely expressed. He wasnât someone who typically revealed his feelings, but he was
straightforward with Abigail.
Hearing his words, Abigail almost choked again.
âI know you wonât accept me that quickly, but I also hope for that too. I want to have a perfect.
relationship with you. Perfect to the point where you wonât regret marrying me every day after we
remarry,â Sean softly said. When Abigail mentioned regretting marrying him before, it felt like his heart
was being torn apart. Therefore, if he had the chance to pursue her again. he was determined to make
it perfect.
Seanâs words made Abigail blush, and she pushed him away before quickly taking a sip of
water.
Just then, Cameron returned in a panic. He sat down and looked at Abigail and Sean.
âWhat happened?â Abigail asked him.
âI went to the bathroom and accidentally ruined a girlâs clothes. I have no idea how much they cost, but
I hope itâs not a limited edition piece,â Cameron anxiously explained. He had been absent-minded for a
moment and spilled a tray of drinks on a girl. She had already. added him on WhatsApp and mentioned
that she would ask him to pay for the cleaning cost.
âThis restaurant isnât extremely high-end, so you should be fine. Besides, you still have us,â Abigail
rea*sured him. Even if it was expensive, it would be worth it for the countless favors he had done for
her.
Cameron felt disheartened. âThis is such an unlucky incident.â
âEven after working with me for so long, youâre still intimidated by a high-end brand? Youâre becoming
more and more useless,â Sean disdainfully remarked.
Cameron asked in a low voice, âItâs because you fired me. Thatâs why Iâm so anxious.â
âThen come back and continue serving me,â Sean said with a cold expression. After all, he had
disrupted their date night by coming over to interfere with his confession.
