Chapter 600
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 600 Got to Show the Love
Abigail grunted. She noticed Lawrence staring at her and smiling, and she got uneasy. âWhatâs
wrong?â
she asked.
âItâs fine. Iâm just happy.â Lawrence looked away, but he was smiling. He couldnât help it.
Abigail noticed the fruits lying around, and she asked, âDo you want to have some fruits? There are-
âIâll have anything!â Lawrence answered quickly. Realizing he had interrupted Abigail, he said, âGo on. I
wonât interrupt you anymore.â
Abigail grunted and went to the fruit basket. âAny allergies or things you canât eat? Things that might
spike your blood sugar levels?â
âNo. Iâve always been healthy.â Lawrence felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
Scarlett was jealous, and she stared at Abigail. Abigail couldnât take it eventually, so she asked, âWhat
about you? Any favorites or things you donât eat?â
âI like fruit salad. Can we do it together?â Scarlett asked, almost simpering.
âSure.â Abigail nodded. She peeled a pear for Lawrence and went to the supermarket with Scarlett to
get their fruit salad ingredients. The ladies stood in a single file, and Abigail took everything she needed
in one go.
âDonât you check the brands?â Scarlett asked.
âI donât know a lot about dressing brands. Any suggestions?â Abigail stopped in her tracks and asked.
Scarlett said, âSome brands are better and not so icky. Iâll teach you about them.â
The ladies bought a lot. When they came back, Abigail, from afar, saw Lawrence staring at them from
the wardâs doorway. When he saw the duo, he quickly went back into the ward. They came in and saw
Lawrence quietly sitting on the bed, looking at them.
Scarlett sighed. She saw everything. Drop the act. They made the salad, and Scarlett asked Abigail to
share it with her. Abigail only had a part of it, but she realized it was a big part. Once they were done
cating. Analise and Sean came in with lunch boxes. Even Cameron showed up.
âWell, well. Look at whoâs here. Shouldnât you be smooching your girlfriend?â Abigail teased.
Cameron smiled. âShe knows whatâs going on with your family, so she told me to check in on you.â
Sean looked at Cameron coolly. Can you stop showing off your love?â
Hey, I was just telling the truth, Cameron protested
Analise ignored the youngsters and placed the lunch boxes on the nightstand, then, she opened them
up Itâs dinner for you and your wife I met some pasta and soup Have some. Itâs good for your b*dy.â
Alay heard pasta, and she huddled loser to Sean
âYou want to eat?â Sean opened up the lunch box slowly.
âYeah. Iâm starving.â Abigail loved her grandmotherâs pasta and arancini. The elderly woman was great
at making them. Nothing outside could compare to her grandmotherâs version.
When Scarlett was huddling closer to Lawrenceâs lunch box, Lawrence asked, âI thought youâd only
have salad for dinner and no carbs. Why change now?â
âIâm not keeping myself in shape anymore, soâ¦â She couldnât eat it, but it was Analiseâs cooking, so
she had to at least be polite and have some.
Lawrence gave her some pasta. âHave a taste. Have more if you like it.â
Abigail was already digging into her pasta.
âSo, howâs the Pearson case going?â Analise suddenly asked Sean.
Sean answered, âJosh called the mortuary and ordered a funeral package. He picked the coffin, and
now heâs waiting for Lawrence to go back for the wake.â
âDonât worry,â Analise told Lawrence and Scarlett. âSean does things well. Just get some rest here for
the night and leave tomorrow afternoon.â
Lawrence nodded, touched. âThank you, Analise. I know why Abby loves you now. I like
you too.â
Analise was sheepish upon hearing that. âWhen I was your age, people in my village helped one
another out. The kids eventually went into cities and got their own places out there, and our numbers.
dwindled, but whenever anyone needed help, everyone would pitch in.â
âThatâs nice. Iâd like to go to your hometown someday with you,â Lawrence commented.
âSure thing,â Analise stated.
Abigail was listening, but she wouldnât stop eating.
âDo you want more?â Sean asked.
âI didnât say that. Whyâd you ask?â Abigail thought it was weird.
âNothing. You were eating so fast that I thought you wanted more, Sean teased.
âGrandma makes great pasta and arancini, so I cat fast. I love these.â
âMe too, Scan responded quickly
Abigail hummed, but she said nothing After the meal. Abigail and Analise left the hospital Scan stayed
