Chapter 231
Triplets on Secret Mission
Chapter 231 The kid playing next to Sean realized he was in trouble and fled in terror. Molly and Sean awoke from their trance on the ground.
Sean also realized Molly was under him; he frowned and tried to get up from Molly, but the twoâs posture prevented him from doing so. âDonât move,â Molly said. She was afraid he would hurt his leg if he moved, so she asked, âDid you hurt yourself when you fell?â Sean shook his head and placed his hands on Mollyâs sides, not allowing his weight to rest on her.
âAre you alright?â Sean inquired because Molly supported him with her body.
âItâs all soft sand underneath. So Iâm all right. âLetâs get someone to assist us,â Molly said.
This posture was too intimate as Molly remembered Seanâs chin and only felt her face warm.
Fortunately, many people were nearby, and when they saw what had happened, they all rushed over to assist Sean in getting back into his wheelchair.
Tony, who was nearby, was having fun with the triplets. He appeared to have noticed the commotion and rushed over with the triplets.
âBoss, Ms. May, are you alright?â Tony asked. He had only seen the people helping Sean up from the ground and had no idea what had just happened.
âSome kids played and accidentally hit Seanâs wheelchair, and we both fell down,â Molly said briefly while patting the sand off her skirt. She omitted the part where she and Sean were in a very awkward position.
âThen Mommy, are you injured anywhere?â the triplets asked worriedly. Molly was about to say she was fine when Claudia exclaimed, âOh no, Uncle Seanâs chin is bleeding!â
Sean didnât notice it himself; it was only after it was pointed out that he raised his hand and touched it. âIt does hurt a little.â
Molly also looked, and the spot where Sean had been injured appeared to be where she had just kissed Perhaps I bit him by accident when we fell just now.â Molly pondered.
âIâll take a look,â Molly said. She could not care less if she was embarrassed. She leaned over and checked Seanâs chin.
âFortunately, the wound is not very deep. Just a tad bloodshot. Letâs go back first, and Iâll help you disinfect and apply some ointment.â
âItâs not that serious; thereâs no need. Let the children play for a little longer.â Sean did not care about the minor injury because it was not serious.
âNo, Iâll never forgive myself if your face is ruined,â Molly said. After all, it was she who had injured him.
âIf Uncle Seanâs face was ruined, you can always marry him,â the triplets coaxed behind Molly.
Molly laughed at the childrenâs innocent words, saying, âDonât talk nonsense, be careful, or Iâll tickle you nonstop!â Molly was chasing after her children when several parents arrived with a few children not far away. âIs it them?â the childâs father asked, pointing to Molly and Sean.
Molly recognized him as the kid who had been playing near them earlier.
When his father asked, the child nodded with a guilty conscience, and the father hurried forward.
âIâm deeply sorry for what happened. My child was playing earlier and accidentally ran into you. Have you hurt anywhere? Do you need to go to the hospital?â The childâs parent inquired, apologizing âWell, theyâre responsible parents.â Molly pondered. She had no intention of pursuing the matter, but she could not help but reprimand the parent.
âWhen you take your children out to play, you should keep a closer eye on them, even if only for their safety. Weâre not hurt, so we can let it go. However, be more aware of your child in the future,â Molly advised.
