Chapter 251
Triplets on Secret Mission
Chapter 251 Molly and Benjamin both exhaled a sigh of relief as they exited the ward after dealing with the patientâs situation.
Benjamin looked at Molly, who was still frowning, patted her on the shoulder, and joked,â Postoperative complications are not uncommon. As doctors, donât we all have this psychological preparation? Is the well-known Dr. Joye scared now?â Molly said, shaking her head, âThat is not the case. This patientâs case is unique. Iâm considering additional treatment options.â
When Molly and Benjamin entered the operating room, they witnessed the patientâs familyâs emotions. She was unconcerned about getting in trouble. Because of the patientâs condition, most of the patientâs family members are emotional. Molly understands the fragility of every life as a doctor. As a result, when treating patients, she will work harder and want to save as many lives as possible. âThis patient is in a unique situation and requires constant attention to his condition. This is not something I would share with others. Iâd like to keep an eye on him. You are welcome to join me. You come during the day, and I come at night. Only the two of us can handle any emergency in the situation.â
Molly also knew she would never be able to care for the patient alone for 24 hours, so she proposed to Benjamin.
âWhat about your children at home if we take turns watching the patient?â Benjamin asked. Benjamin did not agree right away.
He understood how difficult it was for Molly to care for her children independently. He did not want to bother Molly too much, but there did not seem to be any other option. âItâs okay. I have my grandpa at home to look after them,â Molly said with a smile.
Molly was no longer alone. Nonetheless, Benjamin did not refuse. He knew Molly was a responsible person who would be accountable for her work and her patients. He could never refuse, so he could only share the work with her as much as he could.
âOkay, but you must come during the day, and I will work the night shift. So you can accompany the kids home at night.â As Benjamin suggested.
âAll right,â Molly said.
The arrangements had been made, and Molly had to call home to inform her family about it.
Molly was on the phone with Grandpa Dave about this, and the triplets were by his side. Everyone could hear her when he turned on the loudspeaker. âMommy, donât overwork yourself!â âMommy, your health comes first. You must first take care of yourself before you can care for the patients.â
âWeâll be fine at home. Mommy, just come home early when youâre finished!â
The triplets were used to Molly being too busy at work to return home. They know that Molly has been working extremely hard, so they have been obedient and let Molly worry less about them.
The triplets were well-behaved and studied and played at home; they did not look for Molly.
When Sean arrived at noon for lunch, the triplets washed their hands and sat down to eat. He did not see Molly anywhere in the house.
âWhere is your mother?â Sean inquired, perplexed.
âMommy is working at the hospital.â While eating, Alex responded to Sean. Seeing that Sean had no idea what had happened, Alex explained, âThatâs mommy. She is always very dutiful to her patients. When we were abroad, mommy sometimes got busy abroad and didnât come home for a week.â
Sean and Grandpa Dave felt sorry for Molly and the triplets after Alex said that.
Sean could not help but wonder, âWhen your mommyâs busy, who usually looks after you three?â
âMommyâs aide, Aunt Caitlyn, or our godmother will look after us,â Claudia replied.
