11 - to the woods

When green met blue || Clexa AU COMPLETED

Clarke pulled away and looked at her watch. She had forty minutes to get ready. She stared at Lexa.

"What?" she asked, confused.

"Why are you ready? And where have you been all day and night?"

"I may or may not, went to the woods," Lexa smirked shyly, at how stupid it sounded.

"Woods?" Clarke looked at her surprised. She was thinking about some places Lexa could possibly go, but she never considered woods.

"Yeah. There is this nice woods next to Polis. I always go to the woods, when I have to deal with some... stuff," she whispered the last word.

Clarke nodded, with a sad smile. "Wait. You were there all night?" her jaw dropped.

Lexa laughed. "No. I was sleeping on the couch."

"Why?"

"I just--"Lexa looked at her feet. She sighed. Clarke made her looked at her. She smiled. "I didn't want to-- deal with-- with you," a lonely tear streamed down her cheek, but Clarke immediately whipped it out by her thumb.

'Lex, I'm really sorry how much I hurt you." Lexa nodded. Clarke kissed her, and Lexa pulled away, with a goofy smile.

"What?" Clarke asked. This smile was so adorable, that Clarke couldn't help, but also smile.

"You called me Lex," she put her hands on Clarke's waist.

"I did, huh?" Clarke teased, putting her hands on Lexa's torso.

"Yeah, you did," Lexa leaned to kiss her again. After a few seconds, she pulled away and rest her forehead on Clarke's. "That was cute."

Clarke laughed and hit Lexa's torso, playfully. She took her hand and lead them to the toilet.

Lexa only sat on the cabinet.

"Why aren't you getting more ready? I thought after you saw my painting, you immediately harshly woke me up," Clarke smirked at her.

"Oh my gosh, your painting." She jumped out of the cabinet and went fastly to Clarke's room, then came back with the paper in her hand. She tried to save it, but it was really creased. She looked at Clarke, with a pouty face. "Clarke. I'm so sorry."

"Forget it," she smirked. "I'll draw you another one." Lexa smiled at that. "And then another one." Lexa's smile got even bigger. "And another one."

Lexa leaned to a quick kiss and went to her room. There was a pinboard above her desk. She pinned this painting on it and came back to Clarke, but she wasn't there.

"Clarke?" Lexa called her out.

"I'm changing," the blonde respond and after a few more seconds, she came back. Obviously, without trousers. She was wearing a black T-shirt with the text "I'm bored".

Lexa was sitting on the cabinet.

"Hey, now. You didn't take shower!" she pointed at Clarke's pants. She obviously blushed.

Clarke only smirked at her.

It took her 5 more minutes to be ready. She put high-stan jeans and took Lexa's hoodie.

It was too late to eat breakfast, so the girls just grabbed some apples and went to Clarke's car.

All way to school Clarke had her hand on Lexa's. Under it, they separated, because Lexa had biology and Clarke had art. Lexa sat alone next to the window, where she had a great view of Clarke's class. She was also sitting next to the window.

"Miss Woods!" Mr. Pike called her out, successfully ripping her off of her thoughts. "Are you here?" he asked.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry," she blushed and looked at her notebook.

She didn't look at Clarke again, but it didn't keep her focus, though.

After really boring forty five minutes, when the bell rang, Lexa speedily ran out of the classroom and headed to Clarke's.

She made it, just when all students started coming from the class. The last guy came out, but Clarke didn't show up. Lexa leaned against the wall next to the door and waited for her.

After a minute Clarke came from the doors. And as she noticed the brown-haired girl, she smiled. Lexa smiled too.

She wanted to kiss her.

But she didn't.

She wanted to hold her hand.

But she didn't.

She wanted to wrap her arm around her.

But she didn't.

She just started walking to the next class next to her.

"How was the art?" Lexa asked, looking at Clarke, with a real curiosity.

"Good. Thanks. And how was biology?"

"Good. Thanks," she smirked at her, playfully.

They started walking to their next class, but Raven and Octavia interrupted them.

"Why are you so smiling?" the Latin asked them.

"No reason," Clarke answered and Lexa only looked at her feet.

"We've got a marathon of movies this Friday, at Luna's," O said. Only Lexa noticed how Raven's face brighten at the name Luna, she raised her eyebrows, curious, but didn't ask her.

"Only for girls," Raven added.

"What you say?" Luna showed up from nowhere. Octavia jumped, scared. AndLuna started laughing at that.

Clarke and Lexa looked at each other, looking for the other thoughts.

"Sure," Lexa answered for both of them.

"Great," Luna said and disappeared.

The girls just shrugged and headed to their class, leaving Raven and Octavia there.

A few more periods past and Lexa headed outside, to the spot where the group was always sitting.

Clarke was already there. She was talking about something with Luna, Raven, and Harper. She was so into this conversation, that she even didn't notice when Lexa sat with them.

She smiled at focus Clarke. The boys were talking about something else. So she took out some book and started reading it.

After a few minutes, Clarke sat next to her. Lexa only laid her head on Clarke's laps. She was a little bit scared that the blonde will push her out, but she didn't. She just smiled at her, then put some naughty strand of Lexa's hair behind her ear. Lexa thanked her for that by a smile and came back to her book. Clarke looked up and with relief saw that none of her friends noticed that.

Or that they were just pretending to not notice.

The rest of the school past fastly for them ad soon enough they were heading back home.

As they sat inside Clarke's car, Clarke immediately put her hand on Lexa's.

The road to the home took them only seven minutes. When they came from the car, Clarke took Lexa's hand in her. Lexa looked surprised at it, but Clarke smiled at her.

It was risky, but at this moment, she didn't care.

She started caring at the moment they entered the house and heard Abby saying:

"Hey, girls."

Clarke immediately let go.

"Hey," she answered and they went to her. She was doing something in the kitchen. "Mum." Clarke nodded.

"How was at school?" she asked.

"Good," Clarke nodded once again. "We're gonna go," she pointed the ceiling.

"Sure," Abby smiled at them.

She headed upstairs and Lexa followed. Clarke waited for Lexa under opened door to Clarke's room. When Lexa stopped there, confused, Clarke pushed her into it, walked there, and closed the doors by her foot.

Lexa looked at her shocked, but Clarke only smirked at her and grabbed her collar, pulling her into a kiss.

It surprised Lexa, she froze for a moment. But then she put her hands on Clarke's face and returned the kiss.

Clarke took Lexa's bottom lip in between her lips. She let go of her collar and put her hands on Lexa's waist.

Finally, she had to pull away, out of the breath. Clarke was also breathing heavily. She smiled at her.

"I wanted... to do this... all day," Lexa said, between the breaths.

Clarke nodded. "Me too."

"Movie?" Lexa proposed.

"Sure."

And they headed downstairs to saw a lonely note at the counter.

Girls

I had to come back to the hospital. They called me.

I don't know when I'll be back.

Take care and don't do anything stupid

Abby

Clarke shrugged and they sat on the couch, only a few inches apart.

The film was interesting, and Lexa has never watched it before. But she just couldn't focus on it. She was thinking should she wrapped her arm around Clarke or not? So, after all, she wasn't paying much attention to it.

For Clarke, the movie was also interesting, but she also was focused on something different. She was thinking about this big, hard to control, urge to lay on Lexa.

Fifteen minutes past in heavy silence, which both girls were overthinking about what should they do.

But Lexa finally found herself wrapping her arm around Clarke, and pulling her a little bit closer.

Clarke was really glad about that. She put her legs on the couch and laid her head on Lexa.

Both of them were just smiling, and now they could finally focus on the plot.

The rest of the film past much nicer than the beginning. When the end credits showed up, Clarke took the pilot and turned off the TV. She looked at Lexa, smiling.

"Good movie," Lexa noticed, also smiling.

"Yeh," Clarke nodded.

"So..." Lexa traced her neck. "About-- us..."

"Just... not in public," Lexa nodded. She was disappointed, but she also understood Clarke. "If that's okay, with you."

"Oh, yeah. Sure," Lexa smirked and they stood up.

"I thought.. that maybe you could help me with math," Clarke looked at Lexa, slightly embarrassed.

Lexa laughed at that and only nodded. They went to Clarke's bedroom, and Lexa only stopped by hers to take her notes.

Clarke showed her the exercise she had problems with, and Lexa took out the right notes and started helping her.

Now Clarke tried to do it, and Lexa was doing her homework. They were laying on Clarke's bed. Lexa had her head on the headrest, and Clarke had her feet there, her head rested at the end of the bed, next to Lexa's feet.

Lexa was holding the book when some bare foot started to slide on it. Lexa put this book down and looked at Clarke.

"You have to do this," Lexa smiled, as Clarke touched her nose by the big toe.

Clarke frowned and started doing it again. She wrote something and handed it to Lexa. It took her one minute to check it.

"Correct," Lexa said.

"Finally," Clarke started laughing and sat. "So, what are we gonna do now?"

"I don't know," Lexa shrugged and looked at her watch. "Oh my gosh. It's 8 p.m. already."

Clarke looked at her shocked. "This math is pointless."

Lexa laughed. "And Abby is still not here."

"As always," Clarke looked somewhere else.

"You wanna talk about it?" Lexa proposed. Clarke looked into her eyes, grateful.

"I got used to it. It's her job. It's not that I can do something about it," she shrugged.

"You can talk to her."

"Lex, she is saving people's lives. And what now? She is supposed to quit it because her seventeen years daughter wants to spend a little more time with her?" A few tears streamed down Clarke's cheeks.

"Oh, babe," Lexa opened her arms for her. "Come here." Clarke sobbed and sat on Lexa, with her legs on each side of her. She hugged her and started crying. Lexa patted Clarke's back.

They were sitting like that another few minutes. When Clarke finally stopped crying, Lexa pulled her away to look at her. Her face was puffy and red.

Clarke smiled at her, grateful. "Thank you," she whispered.

"Of course," Lexa also smiled.

And then Clarke yawned.

"C'mon. Let's change into some pajama,"Lexa stood up, taking Clarke. She left so that Clarke could change. Clarke put some shorts and a sweatshirt on. And when she was about to went to Lexa's room, Lexa came. Clarke smiled at her.

They laid on the bed, cuddling. Lexa had her arm around Clarke and her face buried into Clarke's neck.

"Goodnight, Clarke," she whispered.

"Goodnight, Lexa."
