chapter 18

Nat got into the car and Jeremy drove out of the mansion. He adjusted the mirror to look at Veen and Nat in the back seat.

"You have a clear schedule today, Mr Veen and young master Nat your classes for the day have been cancelled. Would you like me to drive home. " Jeremy reported to them.

Veen wanted to answer but Nat interjected, " you can drop me by the cinema I'm meeting a friend."

Jeremy nodded in acknowledgement and continued to drive.

"Who are you meeting?" Veen asked still looking at the tablet he held.

"I'm meeting up with Kyle, why? " Nat answered him then turned back to his phone.

Immediately Nat answered him, Veen turned off the tablet and turned to Nat, "Are you meeting only the two of you or there is a group ?"

"Just the two of us." Nat responded in a neutral tone.

"Why?" Veen said in a whinny voice.

Nat looked at him with an amused face. "What the fuck was that ?"

"Language," Veen said sternly, " and still you haven't answered me, why you meeting him."

"Because he is my friend and I have not seen him in a long time."

"You see him in school that is enough. "

"Young master Nat you destination. " Jeremy announced as he pulled over.

"Thank you Jeremy,  no need to pick me up I will drive home with Kyle. See you later Mr Veen. " Nat said as he got off the car.

Kyle was inside the theatre holding a large bucket of popcorn and two sodas. When he saw Nat , his face lit up and began to run towards him but stopped immediately he saw Veen behind .

He walked slowly towards Nat, when he finally reached to him, he smiled and tried to hug him but Veen stopped him.

"Hi, I don't think we have met I'm Veen, Nat's husband. You must be Kyle. Nice for you to join us for the movie."

Kyle looked at Veen blankly ," Thank you sir but I have only two tickets."

"No problem, Jeremy," Veen said calling Jeremy over, "you can share your second ticket with Jeremy here. My husband and I will go get tickets, right Nat. " Veen said in a condenseding voice.

Nat passed Kyle and mouthed sorry to him as him and Veen walked to the ticket place. Kyle smiled at him and nodded. He moved to where Jeremy was standing and handed him a soda .

"Hi I'm Kyle who are you to the two ."

"I'm their personal assistant and thank you for the soda."

"Is your boss always like that?"

"No he is just jealous. "

Both of the burst into laughter and they continued to talk.

As Veen bought the tickets, Nat turned to him. "You need to stop being childish ."

"I'm not childish."

"Really why are here?"

Earlier

Before Nat got off the car, Veen held his arm . "You know I'm free today so I can join you."

"I don't think that is possible."

"Please let it be our third date." Veen pleaded making puppy eyes towards Nat.

Nat looked at him in shock at first then his face changed to a smile.

"You are too old for this but fine you can come but Jeremy is joining us."

"Okay," Veen said in excitement, " Jeremy get out we going to watch a movie."

"I wanted to see a movie with you so that's why  I'm here." Veen responded to Nat.

"You are here because you are jealous but you don't have to worry look." Nat said pointing towards Jeremy and Kyle who were talking and laughing as they headed towards the theatre screening.

Nat smiled as he watched them. Veen looking at him placed his head on his shoulder, " we should be like them love at first sight,  right."

Nat looked at him and couldn't help but smile but suddenly jumped up.

"I'm going to the bathroom. " he announced and walked away hurriedly.

As he was in the bathroom, he looked at his reflection. " Listen up, you are not developing feelings towards him. He is just here until you prove you are fine alone to your dad okay. Don't fall in love for his stupid cute face and flattering smile, wait what oh my god I'm hopeless. " Nat growned as he smiled at himself in the mirror.
