"I will see you soon........." For Aarav, days are passing in the hope that she will at least come today but she didn’t come to the hospital.He asked about her to nurse every day “Did she come today?”But the answer was the same each day “She’ll come tomorrow”“Who is she, he is waiting for? No one ever came to visit him” nurse was confusedThen finally the day has come when the bandages on Aarav’s eyes were going to be open.“Who do you want to see first?” the doctor asked.“Has she come today?”Aarav questioned“She isn’t here yet“the nurse replied.“Whom are you talking about?” the doctor asked glancing over them.“His friend,” the nurse said “Whom only he can see” she whispered.Aarav was feeling so down, he wants to see her as soon as he open his eyes... but she wasn't there.“I want to see that diary,” Aarav said, His only friend gave him that diary, a single friend who stayed by his side when everybody else left him alone.His bandages were opened, and he can see now.Days are passing, and the sun came up and go down but for him, sunlight doesn't matter anymore the only view his eyes want was her, and today he is getting discharged from the hospital.As he expected, his so-called friends are there carrying fake smiles on their faces, they are shamelessly standing in front of Aarav after ditching him when he lost his everything, they all are there to patch up with him just to show their fake concerns towards him because he can see again and going to take over his position in his father's company again.Aarav was very well off, but when he lost his eyes no one was there for him, not a single friend of his came to visit him, not even once, they didn’t want to take the burden of a blind guy, his family handled his hospital expenses but they are too busy to visit him, they are too busy to care about him.So he refused to go with them (his friends) and because of his personality, he said some mean words to them. They all left with disgusted looks on their faces.After doing all the paperwork, he went straight to the reception desk “I want to know about the girl patient named Manu, which room she is in?” Aarav askedThe receptionist saw a guy… very handsome guy asking something to her… she dozed off.“huh…what?” she asked.“I want to know about the girl patient, named Manu, which room she is in?” Aarav said again.He was so desperate to know about her. Those few seconds are killing him.“Wait a minute sir I’ll check” the receptionist replied with a wide smile on her face.After a minute,“Sorry sir, there is no patient of that name,” the receptionist said.“ah… he backed off then he suddenly remembered something…“Maybe she got discharged two weeks ago, can you check please?” he requested.The receptionist didn’t want to decline a request coming from a very handsome guy…So…“Yes, wait a minute sir I’ll check” she replied with a smile.“Sorry sir, there is no patient record of a patient named Manu,” she said.Aarav’s father sent a car to pick him up from the hospital, Mr Sharma is his dad’s secretary, and he is always there for Aarav whenever he needs anything.From the hospital to home Aarav is thinking about Manu. He didn't realize they already reached home.Aarav gets out of the car, and without a single word, he is going inside…“Aarav…“ Mr Sharma called out his name.He turned towards him but didn’t answer.“Let me know if you need anything”, Mr Sharma said with a gentle smile on his face.Aarav nodded and came inside. He put his things on the table and sat down on the sofa. Different thoughts are running through his mind. He is lost in thought then suddenly his phone started ringing. A familiar name is flashing on his cellphone's screen...“Anaya…”
