Chapter 50.1
My Ex-Husband Became The Male Lead
Chapter 50 â Answer To The First Question
The fierce energy of being unable to control his emotions added to the murderous aura in the surrounding. At that moment, madness began to seep into Therosâ eyes and his hand turned towards the sword he was wearing by his waist.
âStop there, alright?â
The cold blade pressed against Therosâ neck. His skin would be cut if he moved clumsily.
ââ¦â
He was unable to sense the other energy coming from behind as he was concentrating all his attention on the man standing in front of him. It was clearly a mistake and a defeat on his part. Theros ground his molars and stared at the man in front of him.
Kaligo raised his eyebrows with his arms folded in front of his chest. âKyrian.â
âYes, my lord.â
âWhere have you been?â
âI am also a human being so I did my business.â
ââ¦â Squinting his eyes at him, Kaligo continued to talk while alternately looking between Theros and Kyrian who were both staring at him. âLooking at it now, you two must have known each other.â
âYes,â Kyrian said as he glanced at Theros. âI know this guy here very well.â
âThen have a conversation with each other. Iâll go now.â
âYes, there is a carriage waiting at the front door.â
âI know.â Kaligo walked across the garden to the main gate, leaving the two men alone.
Until he left the front door and got into the carriage, Kyrianâs blade did not leave Therosâ neck. And not long after, they heard the sound of the carriage leaving.
âDo you want to do it again? I think you already know the victory and defeat back in the Grand Dukeâs mansion,â Theros, who missed his chance with the Grand Duke, spoke in a sharp tone with Kyrian, who was blocking him.
Kyrian responded with a smirk, âTherosâa dog chasing after rats in the front yard, and a dog fighting with his life to protect his owner in the hunting grounds.â
ââ¦â
âYou donât think that we fight with the same power, right?â
ââ¦â
Kyrian slowly removed the sword from Therosâ neck. He might have to kill him if Theros had gone on a rampage and chased after Kaligo to the end, but Theros seemed to have a good grasp of his rationality.
He walked slowly in front of Theros. âWhy are you attacking the Grand Duke?â
ââ¦â
âSo he didnât see it.â
Indeed, if Kyrian happened to recognize Ashia, then he would rush at her like a mad dog. Anyhow, the person Kyrian holds a grudge against was the same as the person the Grand Duke had in mind. He never thought that the Kaligo Ashia was talking about would be the same person as Grand Duke Kaligo.
âIs this supposed to be a good thingâ¦â
Theros sighed. This man hated her enough to kill her, but if Kyrian saw Ashia, he wouldnât be able to hurt her in the meantime.
âWhy donât you answer me?â
ââ¦You donât need to know.â
Theros turned his back and started walking through the garden.
Raising his eyebrows, Kyrian closely followed behind him, âIs it because of that woman earlier?â
Therosâ steps stopped. âYou saw?â
âNo.â
ââ¦â
âI only saw the Grand Duke hugging her. As I said before, I was in a hurry.â
ââ¦â
âBut are you really going to fight His Grace the Grand Duke just because of that woman? That would be absolutely crazy, man.â His cheerful smile was like a child in front of a fire show.
âIf he was a man who hated women, then I would say that woman was someone he loved. I only saw a little bit of her, but I think the Grand Duchess candidate Redin was talking about was that woman.â
âTheros, she will be Her Grace the Grand Duchess.â
Therosâ forehead that had returned to its usual indifferent look was crumpled roughly. âWho says?â
âHis Grace the Grand Duke.â
âYou stupid guy, you donât even know who that person was, and Iâm telling you, that was your Grand Duchess to be.â
He wanted to tell him that and correct the fact that it would be impossible to happen, but Theros held himself back.
Like most of the survivors of that village, Kyrian also lost his parents and siblings that day. The story behind that incident wouldnât be important to the victimsâthe only thing that mattered was the person who was responsible for the fire that day, which took the lives of many villagers. Kyrianâs and the other survivorâs resentment were only directed toward Ashia. He couldnât tell that in front of Kyrian when he was blinded by his own jealousy.
âWe should wait and see for that to happen.â
âEven if we are from the Grand Duchy, we wonât condone those who will interfere.â
ââ¦â
âI think itâs an opportunity that will never come again.â
Once again, he murmured in his heart towards, âstupid guy.â
âOh, so? Who was that person?â
The two of them, who had been reunited for the first time in a few years with a sword, began bickering. No, most of them were Kyrianâs one-sided questions.

The white moon disappeared behind the gray clouds. Staring at the sky outside the window with her arms folded, Aileen slowly opened her mouth.
âSo, youâre saying you asked the Crown Prince to arrange for Grand Duke Kaligo and me to meet?â
ââ¦Yes.â
âAnd?â
Aileen turned and looked at Lisa, who was lying on the bed. Lisa barely got up and sat down.
âAnd⦠whatâs next?â
âAnother storyâanother story you tried to deal with on your own without telling me.â
ââ¦â
âLisa.â
ââ¦The Grand Duke had accepted Your Highnessâ proposal⦠and spread rumors that there will be an engagement ceremony soonâ¦â
âHaaâ¦.â
ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
