At the dining table, Ved was already sitting with his breakfast and was waiting for his parents to come.After some time...when he saw his parents coming, he just couldn't believe his eyes. He rubbed his eyes and looked up again and pinched himself in order to confirm the scene that was visible before his eyes . " Good morning Ved." , Samaira wished him with a beautiful smile." Good morning mom." , He wished back with a confused expression." Good morning beta." , Nishith wished him ." Good morning dad." , Ved replied and Nishith kissed him on his forehead." Dad... Why are you carrying mom in your arms? " , Ved asked softly near the ears of his dad by pulling him closer towards one side to avoid being heard by his mom." Ask your mom." , Nishith replied with a smile and got up from the table." Mom...mom...Please tell me no." , Ved asked out of curiosity." Ved , you have to promise not to share it with anyone. It's a secret between us." , Samaira replied with a smile." I swear mom. Promise. I won't tell anyone. Top secret. " , Ved said obeying her words." Last night,  your dad and I played a game. And I lost the game. So your dad promised me to carry me in his arms for the next thirty days." , She ended briefly." What ? " , Ved questioned scratching his head confusingly." But mom, you lost the game right?So shouldn't you carry dad in your arms?" , Ved put up his innocent question." Yes, but this is what your dad wished for beta. " , She ended while caressing his hairs .All three of them finished their breakfast. Ved carried his bag and headed towards the lift. Nishith carrying Samaira in his arms followed Ved. They got into the lift with little bit of difficulty.The other people in the lift started staring at them with an unusual expression and with shock as if Nishith and Samaira had grown horns on their heads.Nishith felt a bit awkward but he had nothing to do about this rather than to tolerate or ignore. Soon the lift reached the ground floor and all of them walked out towards the parking lot.The scene of Nishith carrying Samaira in his arms drew the attention of lots of society members. They came running towards them." What happened Samaira ?  Are you alright ? Is everything alright, Nishith? " , All of them asked out of panick." Excuse me. I am getting late for work. Can... Can I go ? Ok... Thank you. Thanks a lot." , Saying this he freed himself from the crowd and went away. " Arey? What's wrong with him? Just leave . Forget it. He has gone crazy. " , The people of the society uttered out of irritation." All are bloody watching over here. " , Nishith says and moves towards his parked vehicle." Oye Nishith! Is everything fine? " Their neighbour Mr. Sharma shouted from back ." Yeah. Everything is fine. Cool. " , Nishith ended and got into the car.Mr. Sharma grinned and suddenly stopped smiling and formed a serious expression on his face when he found out that his wife was staring at him with anger. He got into the vehicle and drove away.Nishith and  Samaira were on the way to Ved's School to drop him and then go to their respective offices.To be continued in next part.Stay tuned.
