" What have I done to her? Since the time I had asked her for divorce, she never said a word. She never fought with me. There is a storm she's hiding in her heart. Even if she doesn't say it , I can see it in her eyes. " , Nishith thinks in his mind as he notices her sad and wilted down face while carrying her in his arms the next morning.Day by day her health was declining. She looked lean and thin. Dark circles were clearly visible under her eyes. She felt dizzy on an usual basis. Her soft glowing skin had turned dry and had lost all the natural glow. Her rose petals like pink and supple lips were chapped and had turned dark. Her shiny curly hair had turned fizzy . Her eyes were buried deep in the socket . With passing time, she turned weak. " Samaira ... " ,  He called her to gain her attention." Hmm..." , She responded and looked at his face." Are you on a diet? " , Nishith asked after coming out of the lift." No..." , She replied looking into his eyes." You feel lighter. " , Nishith said while checking her weight on both of his palms." No Nishith. You have just got used to it. " , She said with a pretty smile . " Nishith... There's something I want to say. " , She says staring at him with her round black eyes." Yeah... Tell. " , Nishith replied eagerly waiting to hear her." Can you do me a favour please? " , She asked with a lot of hope." Anything for you. Just tell me. " , He says with a calm voice." Today is the Annual Day at Ved's School. And he is participating in it. " , She said ." That's really very good. " , Nishith replied with a smile." And he wants both of us to be present there. " , She ends ." What time ? I will come and pick you up from the office. Tell me. " , He says expecting an answer from her." No...no . Unfortunately I cannot go. " , She says with a sigh." Why ? Why won't you go ? " , Nishith asks her." Actually, I have an important work to take care of. " , She replied with her eyes fixed on the sky above." Ok... " , Nishith replied." But you be there. Ved will really feel nice . " , She says with a faint smile." For sure... Samaira. He is my son. I will go. Don't worry. " , He replied." Thank you . " , She said by looking lovingly at him." You don't need to thank me. " , Nishith replied soberly in his gentle voice." Nishith, Put me down atleast. We have already reached near our vehicle. " , Samaira said with a smile on her face that made her face to glow in the morning sunshine. Nishith puts her down ." Bye. " , She bids adieu." Bye. " , He waves his hand at her in reply." Nishith... " , She calls from behind. " Yeah... Tell. What happened? " , Nishith asked looking back and coming towards her.Samaira caresses his messed up hair that was falling on his forehead and was stuck due to sweat . She fixes them properly by aligning them in one proper direction . She wipes off the sweat from his face and lovingly moves her fingers around his face tracing his jawline. Her eyes had turned watery but her dry and pigmented lips cast a sad smile that illuminated her face.
