chapter 22-dres past

Dre and Mia had been talking for a month but, nothing to serious. He was really starting to like her. He also noticed that nique had been acting off sense he started talking to Mia.

"We've been talking for like a month now dre and I still don't really know anything about you" Mia said on the other end.

"You do know stuff about me like my name, my number,where I live. You get what I'm saying". Dre said sarcastically. Dre was that closed off type of nigga that wouldn't express his emotions.

"No drequan I mean like on a personal level" Mia said seriously. There had been times where she would express how she felt but, he wouldn't show his emotions.

"Aight, what you wanna know" dre said.

"Like how did you meet nique or about your personal life"

"Well I guess I could tell you about my past" dre said shrugging even though Mia couldn't see him.

"Well when I was younger growing up I had both my parents but, some shit happend and I end up meeting nique" dre said not telling Mia to much. He honestly didn't feel comfortable.

"That's it dre? you're not going to tell me how all of this happend"?

"Girl you doing the most, you wanna know all of that"? Dre said trying to sound annoyed

"Yes" Mia said laughing a little.

"Fine, well I meet nique when I was seven around the time my dad left. I couldn't understand how my parents went from being so happy to going down hill. I remember them arguing every night over petty shit. My dad would just find stuff to argue about. Then one day I was walking home from school and I seen my dad buying drugs from this corner boy. That's when I found out why my dad acted the way he acted towards my mom. A week later I came home to my daddy beating my mama almost to death . I swear I had never been so scared in my life. I did the only thing I could do and that was to fight him back. I swear my dad was beating me like I was a grown man. That day I realized that that wasnt my father. Even though he did that my mama still let him stay and the beatings happend every day. One day I  couldn't take it anymore and told my mama that if she didn't do anything about him I would kill him. That same day he came home that night high and drunk and started beating my mama again. I don't know what happend but something took over me and I grabbed a knife. I stabbed my dad in the chest. He lived but, he left my mom. I feel like she blames me for that shit sometimes ". Dre said sighing.

"Oh my gosh baby I'm sorry that happend to you" Mia said not realizing she had called dre "baby".

"Its OK Mia I'm fine and when did I become baby" dre said with a smirk in his voice.

"Oh my gosh"! Mia said squealing she was so embarrassed.

"What? I thought I was your baby" dre said still smirking.

"Boy shut up" mia said blushing.

"Nah, for real though when you gone make me baby"? Dre said in a sleepy voice that turned mia on.

"I don't know you got to prove a lot" mia said honestly. She was tired of being played with And didn't want anyone who wasn't going to be faithful.

"Oh" dre said dryly.

"You still haven't told me how you met nique" mia said changing the subject.

"I met nique in the second grade and we just been cool every sense. Niques mama and my mama have been best friends sense the 9th grade and they been living across the street pretty much all my life. Me and nique just never really talked until we were seven" dre said ending his story.

"Oh aww, how did yall end up getting a baby together" mia said asking out of curiosity. She didn't want Dre's past to affect his future.

"We weren't fuckin so you can just get that out of your head. Nique was raped by her step dad and she ended up pregnant. I ain't want her baby living without a daddy so I just took on the responsibility . dre said answering her question." Damn shawty you know pretty much everything about me" dre said laughing.

"Well if I'm gonna be your girlfriend I need to know this stuff" mia said laughing.

"Well you know everything now I aint got shit to hide so" dre said trailing off.

"Well my bad I just like to get to know people on a personal level" mia said.

"You good ma" now back to you dre said turning his attention back to mia. He was gonna get to know her now sense she knew so much about him.

Finally updated

My aunt is fine now thank God. She's still in the hospital but she's healing. I'm not going to promise an update everyday though. I'm in my junior year so everything's getting harder.

I decided to hold off on the drama chapter because, I feel like it's to early.
