Cancer: Kid?

The group backtrack to where they last saw the child.

Libra: Ok she's still here.

Scorpio: Actually that's the problem, she has to go too.

Libra: You dont mean, Gemini she's innocent right?

Gemini: I'm getting mixed signals from her.

Cancer: if we leave her like this there's no telling what she'll turn into.

Libra: so what do we do.

Sagittarius: I've been in this situation before, ever heard of the "Generational curse"?

Everyone stayed quiet trying to figure it out.

Scorpio: "The sins of our father", well mother in this case.

Cancer: What do you mean?

Scorpio: The Sins that her mother committed is now her child sins to bear also.

Libra: But she innocent, She didn't do anything.

Scorpio: True , she took no action, but she's feeding on the body her mother killed, so in the eyes of the lord, the child has sinned.

Libra: Its not fair, wait Pisces knows how to lift a curse, I'll have her come over.

Scorpio: Or we can just kill it, and be done.

Cancer: That's a little harsh dont you think?

Scorpio: No one cares what you think "Fake Hunter"

Cancer:........

Sagittarius: Scorpio!

Scorpio: Sorry, fine but we can't wait, the soul can become unstable and at that point it'll be too late to lift the curse.

Cancer: Scorpio...... can you lift the curse, just this once?

Scorpio: Do I look like a priest?

Cancer: No, but your family comes from a long line of priest and priestess....

Scorpio: Stop....shut it..

Cancer: Even your father was a priest, I'm sure you'd know how to lift a curse.

Scorpio: I said Shut it! You have no right to talk like you know my family.

Sagittarius steps in and calms scorpio.

Sagittarius: Scorpio, please just this once.

Scorpio: *sighs* fine, but if I'm doing the communicators job, I expect to get their pay also.

Libra: If you can save her, we'll hand over our contract.

Scorpio went through his car and grabbed a few items.

Scorpio: Okay first I'll need another person, a complete opposite to represent the light and I'll be the dark.

Libra: I'll do it.

Scorpio: No, you're too attached to the soul, you'll only hinder it.

Libra: What about Gemini?

Gemini: Ummm I'm not sure I can do this, I've never experience this before.

Scorpio: No, if she's not confident in the ritual it'll only backfire and we're guaranteed a demon.

Libra: well you're out of options goldilocks!

A car rolled up and a figure stepped out.

Pisces: I'm here I came as fast I could.

Scorpio: Princess?

Pisces: Oh... you.

Scorpio: She's perfect!

Pisces: *blushing* Wh..Wh..What?  I'm very flattered but I'm....Im.....

Scorpio: No not that, I meant for the ritual?

Pisces: Oh I thought you were a hunter?

Scorpio: I know a little something about curses, let's just leave it at that.

Scorpio and Pisces set up the ritual.

Pisces okay I'll be the light

Scorpio: And I'm the dark.

While they're setting up, the others were waiting and talking.

Libra: How does Scorpio know all this?

Cancer: his family has produced many Communicators and Hunters, so it's not surprising if he picked up a few skills.

Libra: Shouldnt he be proud of that, coming from a strong line. Why did he get mad at you.

Cancer: Well Scorpio is actually an illegitimate child, for a while he was cast aside, until recently.

Libra: Oh ok, one more question, he seems to dislike you, more than us even.

Cancer: Well let's just say, he has a right to hate me.

Gemini: So how does this ritual work or do?

Sagittarius: Well, with two black candles lit the one representing the dark must recite the curse placed on the soul and put the candles out, after that the light representative has to recite the prayer to counter the curse and light her white candles. And that should do it.

Gemini: Wow sounds easy.

Sagittarius: On paper yes, but you have to know the verses by heart, and there can be no uncertainty that the soul should be cleaned of their sins.

If there's a single shred of doubt, the price would be costly.

Gemini: you know a lot, don't you?

Sagittarius: I witnessed a fail ritual, many of my comrades died that day.

Gemini: oh I'm sorry to hear that.

Scorpio and Pisces finished their setup.

Pisces: Ok ready?

Scorpio: Whenever you are princess.

Pisces: I have a name you know

Scorpio: yeah yeah

Scorpio sat down with Pisces sitting across from him.

He lights both black candles and recites

Scorpio: "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me."

Scorpio then put out his two candles, now it was pisces turn.

Pisces: "The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself."

And then she lit her two candles.

The ghost child started to glow, the darkness in her eyes and on her body started to fade and drain from her body.

The child then got up and started walking around, not saying anything.

Sagittarius: *breathe of relief" They did it.

Scorpio: Ezekiel 18:20? Kinda of a mouthful, but does the job.

Pisces: Thanks, and you, Psalm 15:5, not even other communicators know that one, its rarely used.

Scorpio: Its short and simple, plus its specifically applied to this situation.

Gemini: I see that the soul is clear, but she's not moving on.

Pisces: I don't know, usually a soul should move on when they're clean of sins.

Sagittarius: She's a lost soul now, without her mother, she is now an orphan.

Libra: What do we do? we can't leave her like this.

Scorpio: She must accept God as her father, I know a prayer but I won't perform it, since it's not my job

Libra: Then I'll do it, just tell me the incantation.

Scorpio: That'll work.

Scorpio wrote down a prayer for Libra to say.

Scorpio: It'll work better the more people there is to pray.

Gemini and Pisces joined Libra.

Scorpio: She also needs a name.

The three discussed the name and walked up to the ghost.

Libra: Come here child.

The ghost walked towards her.

Gemini, Libra, and Pisces placed their hands on the ghost child. And chanted.

Libra: "I plead the Blood of Jesus upon "Aria" and I bind every spirit of an orphan from their lives."

*The name caught Scorpio's, Sagittarius' and Cancer's attention*

Scorpio:*in his mind* Why that name?

Gemini: "I loose and release the Holy Spirit to hover over them to bring healing and deliverance."

Pisces: "Lord, you are their Father and I pray that they will receive the spirit of adoption and that they will call You, “Abba”.

The child started to glow and get hotter.

Even though it started to burn the communicators know that if they let go, the ritual would fail.

Libra: "Lord I pray that healing will come to every area of their hearts."

Gemini: "Where their heart has become stony, I pray that you would make it a heart of flesh."

Scorpio:oh crap, I forgot the final piece.

Pisces: "Lord, I ask that you will bring committed spiritual fathers into their lives to cover them in prayer, to give them direction and to love them."

Without the final verse the child started to cool down quickly and started to freeze, causing frostbite to the communicators hands.

Libra: We can't finish, I don't know the rest.

Gemini: We can't let go!

Pisces: I don't think I...  can... hold... on

Scorpio placed his hands on pisces and proceeded to say the last verse.

Scorpio: "God, please help this spiritual child to have the mind and heart of Christ.

In Jesus name, Amen."

The child finally glowed and dissipated into small tiny orbs.

The tiny orbs gathered and started floating towards the sky.

Sagittarius: There she goes.

After filling out reports, everybody made they're way to the hospital.

Scorpio and Cancer were slowly walking behind.

Cancer: Hey Scorpio.....

Suddenly Scorpio quickly turned and pinned Cancer up against the wall.

Scorpio: You should've kept your mouth shut,

Cancer: *struggling to breathe* I was trying to help.

Scorpio: Then do it your own way, don't ever volunteer me, and don't ever talk about my family, you're not welcomed.

Cancer: You call them family, but do they consider you the same.

Scorpio:......

Cancer: I thought so...

Cancer managed to get scorpio's hands off of him

Cancer: Now if you don't mind.....

Cancer was staring down the barrel of scorpio's gun.

Scorpio: I've got a question for you.

Did you think of her when you heard her name?

Cancer:........

Scorpio: I thought so

Scorpio holstered his gun and walked away.

Cancer was quiet and walked the other way.

Sagittarius saw the whole thing and walked with Cancer.

Sagittarius: You did think of her, didn't you?

Cancer: How can I not?

Sagittarius: I can't say that I agree with Scorpio's behavior, but I don't blame him for feeling the way he feels.

Cancer: I should've listen to her.

Sagittarius: What happened has happened, you can't change that. Whether or not you learn from it, well that's up to you.
