âThese are good, did you cook this?â I asked, savoring every bite.
âOf course not, I got them from a food truck, they are the best.â Evans replied, âI am horrible in the kitchen.â
âOh I see, maybe I should show you some skills I have up my sleeves, be a professional once Iâm done. I taught Thomas,â I stopped his fell out feeling awkward that I had called his name in between our conversation.
âItâs okay if you can talk about him.â
âNo, I donât think I should.â
âItâs alright,â He tapped my shoulder.

âThank you,â He did not take his eyes off me and missed his lips he sipped spilling the wine in his
shirt.
âOh my God, you know you caused this right?â
âNo, no, thatâs on you,â I giggled watching as he struggled with his shirt.
To quell my laughter, he captured my lips in a searing kiss as I felt his pound of soft flesh on my lips.
âShh⦠Donât say anything.â
âI wonât,â
âYou donât listen do you,â He said softly as he kissed we rolled over entwined in each otherâs arms basking in the moment.
âWatching the sunset is one of my favorite views. Thatâs why I had my office have a good sunset view. I would stare at it every evening with a glass of whiskey before closing for the day.â
âIf I can get you the sunset just to see you happy I would,â I looked into his eyes and then looked away. I emptied the bottle into my cup and huddled in his arms feeling content and watched the sun go down. The wind took charge of the sultry sea as he caressed me, while the clear sky still, watching the tumultuous waves on a evening. I could only feel the warmth of his arms around me holding me tightly like he would never let go and we talked about nothing in particular.

âI hope you love it.â
âYes, I do, itâs so beautiful.â

âSpend the night with me,â He said as we got into the car. His eyes had become a bit teary and his
voice was firm.
As much as I wanted to, I didnât know if it was right as my feelings were mixed up. But one thing I was sure of was that I had really fallen deeply in love with this guy. âWhy?â I asked.
âWe had such a great day and I really want you by my side tonight, please donât say no,â he said.
I wouldnât dare say no to this bundle of handsomeness. I nodded in affirmation and he pecked me.
His home was a wellâventilated duplex, they entered through the front door into the living room. The living room was well furnished with a table in the middle. The floors are made from polished marbles which give it a classy and distinct look. There is an aquarium just at one end of the living room. The dining room was large and would be enough for a family that had more than six people. He clearly did well for himself.
âYou stay here alone?â
âYes, I do, I know itâs a small place that does not meet your standard.
âDonât say that, itâs gorgeous.â
I moved over to a corner and sighted a big transparent glass that was filled with water.
Is an aquarium?â I asked, pointing at it.
âYes, that was an aquarium a home to my beautiful goldfish âAlenâ but he died three months agoâ.

I finally gathered the courage to ask.
âI donât want to talk about that.â
âWhy?â
âItâs not important.
âWhat do

âRight now I was expecting we would be cuddled in each otherâs arms not talking about whatâs clearly not important.â

âOkay fine, Care for a cup of coffee? Maybe we can talk about it over coffee.â

âI love you,â He whispered I wanted much to say it back but instead, I kissed him back.
