Flash Back
______________
At the hotel
______________
Antonio barges in, slamming the door behind him in furry. This was the room where Amari had glimpse him.
Packages of cocaine were stacked on the desk. The office is a medium size dark aesthetic room. Inside the room holds a desk and chairs, cabinets, coke and guns.
He walks over to Dominic and Blake. Dominic was showing Blake how he wants to structure a new building.
They had stood with their heads together, looking into a file, Blake drew for his gun at the sound of the door; only to put it back. If it was under any other circumstances he would have died. He would have been too slow for a reflex.
Dominic had yet to acknowledge Antonio's presence and it seems to anger him.
Antonio Grips Blake by the nape of the neck, but Dominic steps forward. His presence screams power as he held his head high and places his hands in his pocket. He's at least one inch taller than Antonio and he made it clear by looking down at him.
He calmly said, "You can go Blake," Blake looked shaken up, as he cowers. He rushes for the door, holding his neck at the pain.
"You don't touch the ones that I hire, brother," He trails his fingers idly across the desk. The dust of Cocaine fell from his fingers.
"He fucking works for me!" Antonio shouts.
Dominic rolls his eyes in annoyance.
He was getting sick of Antonio's attitude. They haven't been on a good level in years, but it has gotten worst since he wanted Amari's death.
"You know...you are a fucking hypocrite. You kill people yet still you pretends as if you are Jesus! You own half the estate, everything was supposed meant to share. You take everything for yourself as if you are the only son. I have to get up and work and work and work but it's never enough!"
They would have physically fought but Dominic wasn't interested.
He just wanted Antonio to leave.
He didn't have empathy in his banter. It's been rough years of his life with his dad shaping him unto who he is. He was given more responsibilites but he uses his time to make more money. Invested millions into other company as well, so it wasn't that he was taking everything for himself. He was only doing it better than Antonio.
He's good at what he does.
"Low your voice-"
"Don't tell me to lower my voice!"
"This is what jealously do to people, go and complain to Father," He made an attempt to leave but he was blocked.
"Make a choice, the girl or every locations you own here."
He would loose millions, all the effort he had made would have been for nothing, but he didn't hesitate, "I chose the girl, She's mine, you don't touch her."
He pulled the door open and then his heart slams. All adult life felt like watching a movie clip. Every killing, every crime he had committed flashes through his mind as he stared at the one person who saw him pure.
How could he remove the webs that has now knotted him?
His sister stood there with tears stains cheeks. She'd heard every word! The secret door was no longer a secret. All the secrets were now in the open. She steps in and looked around the room.
He strong and confident arua fades as she cracks. He had been her refuge, ever since a child. He had encouraged her, stood by her. He was even there more than her father was. He wasn't a sibling to her, he was a brother.
She Turned, her hands shook. The shock look on her face was a of her personality. She's so innocent for this life, that was another reason why he shield her.
She stares at him, and pointed.
"You-," She stopped.
"Youâre a liar, Dominic! You lied to me my whole damn life!" she screamed, as the reality emof every conversation plays in her head. Dominic was the one who got her to be the manager. It was a true move of betrayal.
Her voice shaking,"No. No way. This isn't real, You- youâre not a killer. Youâre my brother, Dominic, my big brother! You protected me. You... you wouldn't! You- God, you kill people! Youâre not the brother I thought I had!"
Dominic stood there, his jaw tight, watching her break apart. He wanted to say something, to explain, but what was the point?
"I don't have time for this," Antonio scoffs, he walked out without a second glance, closing the door behind him.
She didn't even notice him leaving as she begs to wake up from her dream.
"Say something Dom, defend yourself!"
Frantically she walks over to the desk and takes up packages,"What is this? Cocaine! You have fucking Cocaine in here! You used me! You fucking used me"
Her shoulders shook, from crying.
She walks about the room, crying, throwing cocaines across the room.
She was spiraling between anger and sadness.
Dominic inhaled deeply, his expression unreadable, but his voice was low, steady, "Calm down."
"Calm down?!" She let out a bitter laugh. "You want me to fucking calm down? After everything? Every fucking lies? Oh, Gianna you are so good at what you do, Gianna you could make a good manager if-"
"Si'," His voice cut through hers, quiet but sharp. He stepped closer, gaze locked onto hers. "I never lied to you. I just never told you what you didnât need to know."
She shook her head, backing away. "Thatâs the same damn thing-"
"No, itâs not." His hands flexed at his sides like he wanted to reach for her but held himself back. "I kept you out of this world for a reason. You think I wanted you to see this side of me? You think I wanted this for you?" His jaw tightened. "You still donât know the half of it, Stella."
It hurts him to see her hurting, he was never ready to tell her. He felt like peices of him is dying.
"Don't call me Stella, She wipes at her tears and said."So this is what you've been doing all this time? While I was living my little perfect life, you were out there- what? Killing people? Trafficking drugs? And you never thought to tell me?! What kind of brother does that? My father knows about this?"
He felt like wheezing, the last time he felt like that was when his mother died. She no longer wants to hear the nickname he called her.
He tried to to touch but she held up her hands, and backed away, "Don't touch me! Oh my God, how many people have you-?"
He lowers his eyes, unable to answer. He felt as if he was slapped. He delt as if he was being scold and if reminded him of his late mother.
How could she do this to him?
Couldn't she just understand?
She was still staring at Dominic, breathing hard, her anger mixing with something else- confusion, hurt.
"I don't even know who you are anymore," She whispered, She slides down Infront of the desk and cried,"I don't even know anything anymore- I feel like my whole life is a lie," She covers her face, resting her head in her palms.
"Stella?"
Cautiously he approached her, he sat next to her and pulled her to him.
Hugging him tightly, she cries.
"Promise me you won't hide anything from me ever again?"
"I promise."
"You know am not not close to dad. Antonio is an ass and this is what you did to me."
"I did it to protect you. Am sorry that it affected you this much but look at me-" Slightly holding back, he held her face in his hands. "Am me, and all the good sides there is you have seen. Please don't at look me and see the monster that I am."
Rehugging her, like he normally does. They sat on silence. He pet her hair and told her summary of things.
Eventually she realizes that despite everything, Dominic is still her brother. She may not agree with what he does, but she couldn't erase their bond. They were unbreakable since younglings.
"I hate what you do, Dominic. I hate that you lied to me. But youâre my brother, and I canât change that. I just... I need time to process this."
"Come with me," He said and pulled her to her feet.

Dominic's Point of view
After hanging up on Ashton, I checked my phone;I now have the location of Her car.
Driving fast on the highway I tried to think straight, but my thoughts remained spinning.
Fuck
My phone went off and checked to see Stella calling.
Am so grateful to her.
"Did you caught up to her?"
"She flew, am sure she flew the car."
As soon as I saw her, running. I had no idea she would be gone by that time. She cashes out so quickly. She races away. I had told Stella about her, I couldn't stop myself from rambling. It was a good thing to ease her mind and for us to settle back into our normal sync. Now she's super excited in officially meeting her. She wants to know the type of glue Amari has on me.
"Oh come on, I can just call and-"
"No, I want to do this."
"Listen, Dom, it would be a whole lot easier if you let me call her and told her that I didn't know she knows my brother. She's such a sweet girl, am sure -"
"How do you even know that? She was working there, am sure you weren't friends," I said, pressing hard on the gas.
"Well, Of course she is, I know you don't keep women. You don't keep girlfriends. I have a hoe for a brother but I love him anyways."
"Now I know why you can't get along with Antonio. You are a thorn in our sides."
"Say whatever you want. I know you love me. Can I call her now? Let me invite her for dinner, lets do stakes and-"
"Gianna bye, please. Thank you, I love you, have a good evening," I disconnected the call and took deep breaths.
I needed the quite.
I don't even know, but my soul calls for this one woman and am ready to take the package she comes with.
When it comes to Amari, am always ready.
I don't need to sketch or calculate a plan. It's a 'I know' thing.
I know I told her that, I can't share her but is like she wanted me to. I knew in my gut we had our first negative tension and it doesn't sit right with me. I never want to be the reason for her tears.
I parked and got out. Rushing to Heels place; I knocked at the door.
She opened the door and was about to shut it in my face.
Brave
Placing a foot between the closing, "I need to talk to her," I said.
"So you the reason for this shit?"
She lets me in and my heart pained!
My heart?
Amari was seated in a sofa, her knees pulled to her chest, her face looked slightly swollen and her eyes refilled with tears.
"No, no, no, don't cry. Please,"Â I sat next to her and begged. She scoots away from me and my heart aches.
My heart?
I followed her and took her hands in mines. They were wet and I knew I was touching her tears.
Her eyes are beautiful she shouldn't be crying. If she look like this, then she's not supposed to cry.
I wiped at her tears.
"Please leave-" her voice came out weak and I rubbed my forehead.
"Heels, assist your friend with a glass of water."
"She wants you to leave, I might put you out myself caz-"
I held up a finger and she steps forward with a glare in her eyes. Amari quickly stood up and gave her soft nod.
"You sure?" Heels asked. Amari nods again. Looking over Amari's shoulders she glares at me, "I ain't scared no big shot. The next man who hurts her? Dead. You understand? Make sure you in the clear, cominâ up in my place, signalinâ me to shut up. Fuckinâ disrespectful."
"I didn't mean for that to come off the wrong way. My apologies," I said, knowing that I was wrong, sincerely. I definitely don't have any problems against her friend. I don't need her for an enemy.
"Mhm," Heels muttered and walked off. She left us in the hall and I stood up to the woman who has a hold on me.
"I got to leave to prepare my daughter's dinner. I don't have time for this," She sounded as if she is shutting down and I never felt more eager.
"She's my sister."
"It doesn't concern me," She breathes.
"Why are you crying then?" I grabbed her arm and pulled her to me. Her body feels so good against mines.
Tears escapes her eyes and she wipes furiously, she chuckled and offered a weak smile, "A lot a things, my man owns the house and had me paying rent. I allowed you to fuck me once now you don't want no more and I feel so fucking cheap."
He's indeed a interesting character
I just wanted him to tell her himself, but it seems they have people searching on him.
Holding her by cheek, I stare into the window of her soul, "I can bring you to him or I can take you to my place. There's a file that you'll be interested in and am not just telling you this to break you, so I can have you, no, am giving you a choice to choose your hell."
"You knew," She muttered and I remembered that secrets almost cost me my sister.
"I wanted you to leave him on your own terms, not give you something by force. You don't deserve to cry anymore Prinicesspa," I wiped at her tears again.
"Am going to get my daughter and greet my friend," she pulls from my hand.
I head to the door and stopped. I turned to see her watching me. Her eyes have stopped crying and I felt a weight lifted from my shoulders.
Right then; I noticed how sexy she looked in the jeans. The white blouse showcases her beauty even more.
"Okay, and Another thing, I want you more than you think."

Thoughts?- So I got Gianna out of the way.
Since I started writing this book;,l it was my first time taking a three day break without writing. I was at sleepover and I couldn't get the headspace. My mind was fighting against it, this chapter didn't go as good as the others, I would say 5 and 1/2 from 10.
The next chapters will be much better. I got Zendi's chapter, y'all remember she's a teach for RNB dancing in Jamaica right? Yeah I need to get and some other things under control and out of the way ð
