Chapter 189
Marry A Hidden Billionaire By Rosalind Stevenson
Chapter 188
âWho is that important person?â Williamâs words give Daniel a headache.
âI donât know. Alice doesnât look good. Her eyes are filled with tears and she left without saying a word to meâ
William rubbed his chin. âMy intuition tells me that the person whoâs going to die is a man.â
He figured if it was her parents or best friend, Alice would not have such a reaction.
âWhich hospital? Follow her!â
âBut what about the kids? I canât possibly leave them here at this hour?â
âIâm going back now.â Daniel didnât even look at Bernardâs reaction. He put down the wine glass in his hand and walk out.
Even though Bernard didnât hear their conversation, he guessed that someone back in the country was sick, so he hurriedly followed Daniel.
âMy familyâs private plane can take the military route. Iâll send you back. Bernard said.
âOkay, donât let anyone else know,â Daniel reminded. Then, he took out his phone and sent a message to his wife.
Meanwhile, Alice had arrived at the hospital.
In the gloomy corridor, the red light outside the operation room was strikingly conspicuous.
When Alice saw the nurse holding the critical condition notice, her heart lurched painfully in her chest.
âIs he really⦠really in critical condition?
âHow could his situation suddenly get so serious?
âHe promised me that he would tell me what he was doing when the time came.
âWhy is he in the surgery room now without saying anything?â
Alice asked a nurse with a trace of hope, âMiss, is this some kind of misunderstanding?â
However, the nurseâs face was solemn. âMiss Doyle, please be mentally prepared. His chance of survival is less than 5%.â
Alice staggered backward when she heard the percentage.
Just then, the doctor walked out of the surgery room. His hands were covered in blood.
âIs Ms. Alice Doyle here?â the doctor asked.
Alice immediately went up to him. âDoctor, Iâm Alice. Howâs my brother?â
âThe patient is conscious. Go in and talk to him. Perhaps⦠this will be the final farewell,â the doctor said calmly.
Alice wanted to yell. âWhat final farewell?â
She didnât want anything to happen to her brother.
Although Johnny was her half-brother, he was good to her, treating her much better than the Doyle couple.
Therefore, she cherished her brother very much.
In the operation room, Alice was clad in personal protective equipment. Her heart hurt when she saw the blood-stain shirt on the operating table.
Tears fell from her eyes as she looked at the pale-faced and dying Johnny.
âAlice.â Johnny seemed to be using his last bit of strength to call out to her.
âJohnny, donât say anything. I donât want you to say goodbye to me.â Alice held his hand and sobbed. âI will find a doctor to save you. I will!â
âSilly girl⦠I canât make it through this time.â Johnnyâs raised his trembling hand slightly, and his face was filled with guilt. âThe only thing that makes me feel sad is that I didnât give you⦠give youâ¦
He didnât manage to give her a good life.
âJohnny, donât talk nonsense.â Alice turned to look at the surgeon and said emotionally. âDoctor, how can I save him? Do you want my blood? Or do you want me to transplant an organ for him?â
The surgeon could understand Aliceâs feelings. He took a deep breath and said, âMiss Doyle, no one can do anything about Mr. Doyleâs condition unless itâs Dr. Molly Drea, sheâ¦â

Chapter 188
âWho is Dr. Molly Drea? Iâll go look for her.â Alice immediately walked to the door.
âDr. Drea is the Kaur familyâs doctor. Without the approval of the Kaur familyâs head, she wonât treat outsiders?
âThe Kaur family?
âI know someone from the Kaur family. Iâll talk to Josh.â
