Chapter 216
Marry A Hidden Billionaire By Rosalind Stevenson
Andre casually placed his hand on Aliceâs shoulder. He was not afraid of being seen by others.
Alice considered how Daniel was unaware of her work relationships. Fearing his jealousy might be triggered again, she turned a serious gaze on Andre.
âMy husband doesnât know the ins and outs of our work life. When you see him later, donât talk nonsense, okay?â
âDonât worry about me! Donât be afraid. I wonât let your husband misunderstand!â Andre blinked.
However, when he saw Alice holding two cups of coffee, he had some doubts. âI thought you didnât like latte.â
âOh, his friend at work wants to drink it,â Alice explained casually.
But Andre was unhappy. âBaby, no matter who wants to drink it, you canât be the one to buy coffee!â
âYouâre his wife, not his babysitter. Why buy them coffee? Let them drink air!â
With that, Andre sna tched the coffee from Aliceâs hand and threw it into the trash can.
âBaby, listen carefully. All men are the same. If they canât have a woman, they will cherish her.
But once theyâve won her over, they often forget how to take care of her.â
âYou shouldnât let yourself depend too much on him, and you shouldnât let yourself look humble either. Otherwise, heâll be spoiled!â
âIn a bit, Iâm going to lay down some ground rules for him. And you shouldnât feel sorry for him, okay?â Andre said to Alice with a stern tone, letting her know that he had her back.
Alice didnât know whether to laugh or cry at Andreâs words, but they made her feel warm.
Andreâs concern for her was genuine. She understood it all.
âAlso, even if right now isnât the best time for a wedding, it doesnât mean you donât want one. Iâll explain this to him! He didnât marry our girl for free!â
While they were talking, they came back to where Daniel and Vivian were.
Vivian saw them from afar. She quietly moved behind Daniel and grabbed the armrest of the wheelchair with both hands.
When Alice and Andre arrived, she nodded elegantly at them.
Her attitude seemed to say, âIâm his wife, and you donât matter.â
Andre saw the womanâs face clearly and frowned on the spot. âAlice, is this the daughter of the Hand family, Vivian Hand?â
Alice nodded.
Andre narrowed his eyes and continued to look at Daniel in his wheelchair.
He couldnât help but grab Aliceâs wrist. âBaby, why does your husband look so familiar?â
He seemed to have seen him somewhere before, but he couldnât remember where.
Before Alice could answer, Vivian had taken the initiative and said, âDaniel, itâs too hot here.
Letâs go somewhere else, shall we?â
The way she called him âDanielâ instantly annoyed Andre.
He did not care if she was the daughter of the Hand family. He directly pushed Alice behind Daniel.
Then, with a simple and crude motion, he pried Vivianâs hand open and let Alice push the wheelchair.
He said bluntly, âMiss Handâs upbringing should be very good, right?â
Vivian did not understand. âYes, what do you mean?â
Andre sneered. âSince you had a good upbringing, you should know that itâs inappropriate to call someoneâs name so intimately in front of his wife.â
He was quite polite and resisted the urge to curse.
However, Vivian looked hurt. âDaniel, explain to your wife that I really didnât mean anything by it!â
