Chapter 346
Marry A Hidden Billionaire By Rosalind Stevenson
Upon hearing her cousinâs voice, Sabrinaâs expression instantly changed. She quickly turned around and looked at her cousin.
She said in a dissatisfied tone, âCindy, how can you say that about me⦠I was too young back then.
Itâs not that I wasnât responsible.â
âYou know very well whether youâre responsible or not!â The girl snorted lightly. Then, she didnât care much and walked straight over.
Then, she held Brianâs arm and said obediently, âBrian, Alice is an artiste Iâve been working with for a long time. Anyway, thereâs no problem about her character⦠Donât distrust her.â
Upon hearing this, Sabrina realized something. âCindy, you said that you wanted to experience life. Did you mean to be Aliceâs assistant?â
âThatâs right. Alice is nice. I like her very much.â Candice blinked.
After graduating, she did not immediately go to work. Instead, she looked for a job in Studio City.
At that time, she was bullied by a few hooligans. She originally wanted to contact the Miller family to deal with it, but she did not expect Alice to help her.
From then on, she became Aliceâs assistant and had been working as Candice.
Other than her brother, Brian, no one else knew.
Now that Sabrina was always looking for trouble with Alice, Candice was so angry that she admitted her identity.
No matter what, no one could bully Alice with her around.
Sabrina looked at Brian in surprise. âBrian, do you agree with Cindyâs reckless actions? Assistants serve others. How can the daughter of the Miller family do such a thing?â
Candice rolled her eyes. âWhat do you mean by serving others? Alice has never asked me to run errands. She respects me very much.â
âIâm doing this for your own good⦠You donât know Aliceâs real side.â Sabrina was anxious.
It was fine if her cousin didnât help her, but her cousin actually helped Alice.
What the hell was that?
Seeing that they were about to argue, Paul finally said, âAlright, Sabrina, Cindy, stop arguing.â
âGrandpa⦠I feel wronged,â Sabrina said as she walked up to Paul. âIf Alice didnât interfere between me and Daniel, I might not be angry anymore.â
âYour mother has already told me about this. If Daniel really doesnât want to marry you, then weâll want the children⦠We donât have to lower ourselves for a man,â Paul said in a deep voice.
Sabrina knew very well that Paulâs values were very upright. He would not blindly support her just because of her words.
If she wanted to sn atch Daniel away, she still needed to play tricks to make the Miller family hate Alice.
Otherwise, this family would never help her.
But what could she do to make them all hate Alice?
Sabrina rolled her eyes and a face suddenly appeared in her mind.
When she left the Miller family, she took out her phone and called that person.
âRaymond, how have you been?â
When Raymond heard Sabrinaâs voice, he instantly became excited. He glanced at Freddie who was opposite him.
Then he carefully said, âIâm fine, Sabrina⦠How have you been recently? Is there anything you need from me?â
Sabrina blinked and looked at the distance thoughtfully. Then, she said, âYes, I want to hold a party. Do you want to come?â
When Raymond heard this, he nodded happily. âOf course, I have to go to the party you organized! I happen to have a gift for you.
He had just returned to the country and the person he wanted to see the most was Sabrina.
Now that Sabrina had taken the initiative to ask him out, how could he refuse?
âThen⦠Iâll see you this weekend. Can you please help me invite Daniel and Freddie? Iâve been swamped lately, so itâs not convenient for me to reach out to them,â Sabrina said.
âYou want Daniel to go too?â Raymondâs good mood instantly disappeared. He was a little depressed and looked at Freddie with an unnatural expression.
âHmm⦠I hope everyone will come. Itâll be much more lively that way,â Sabrina said, her voice filled with sweetness. âRaymond, youâre the best. I know I can count on you to help me reach out to him, right?â
âButâ¦â Raymondâs head hurt.
He knew that Daniel was married, and he was listening to Freddie say how much Daniel doted on his wife.
If he were to invite Daniel to Sabrinaâs party, wouldnât it be obvious that he wanted to sow discord between the couple? âSabrina, as for your feelings toward Danielâ¦â Raymond wanted to confirm if Sabrina still liked Daniel.
âItâs all in the past. I just want everyone to be together and be happy,â Sabrina lied.
âReally?â
âOf course. You know my personality, donât you? How could I lie to you about such a thing?â
âThen⦠Iâll give it a try and talk to Danielâ
âRaymond, youâre the best. I like you the most!â
After hanging up Sabrinaâs call, Raymondâs lips curled into an infatuated smile.
Freddie looked at his reaction and rubbed his temples. âYou still like Sabrina so much?â
âIt canât be helped. Iâve liked her since I was young⦠Itâs really not easy for me to give up now.â As he spoke, Raymond looked at Freddie nervously. âItâs really impossible for Daniel to be with her, right?â
âYou havenât seen Daniel. Itâs impossible for him to like other women.â Freddie couldnât help but shake his head when he thought of Danielâs shameless display of affection.
Raymond heaved a sigh of relief and took out his phone. âThen Iâll call Daniel.â
Without waiting for Freddie to stop him, he dialed Danielâs number.
âDaniel, Iâm back,â Raymond said with a smile.
Daniel hummed and said in his usual calm tone, âWelcome.â
âWelcoming me by speaking wonât do⦠Thereâs a party this weekend. You have to attend!â Raymond said with a smile.
âIâm not goingâ Daniel rejected him directly.
âWhy not? You havenât seen me for so long. Donât you miss me?â Raymond gritted his teeth.
âI promised my wife to go out,â said Daniel.
âF uck! Do you mean that you donât plan to have a gathering with us for your wife?â
âYes, Iâm not going,â said Daniel.
âBut I promised Sabrina to let you go⦠Daniel, I donât care. You have to come if youâre my friend!â
Raymond didnât want Sabrina to be disappointed, so he could only order Daniel.
Daniel heard this and said in a low voice, âDidnât Sabrina tell you that I am going to sue her?â
Raymond asked, âWhat? Why are you guys having a lawsuit?â
Daniel did not hide anything. âShe got the paternity test report. Sheâs my sonâs biological mother.â
âWhat⦠what did you say?â The cup in Raymondâs hand fell to the ground and shattered into pieces.
He didnât even know it was hot when the coffee was spilled on the back of his foot.
He knew that the mother of Danielâs child was gone, but he never thought that the person he liked would have such a relationship with Daniel.
