Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 1043
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Crystalâs POV:
I was in utter shock. I couldnât believe it that Ian would run away from home. That was so unexpected. Would such a good wolf really be that rebellious?
âWhen did it happen?â I asked anxiously.
Sighing, the elder replied, âHe has been missing since after the day you left the pack. At first, we assumed that wild wolves has always been completely free. In the past, Ian would often disappear and go to the forest to play for a few days before coming back, so we didnât pay much attention at first. It was not until such a long time had passed that everyone began to worry. We went to the forest to look for him, but found not even a single sign of him. When we checked the surveillance footage, we found that Ian had already left our territory. He deliberately avoided the surveillance cameras and passed through their blind spots before completely disappearing.â
Hearing that, I gasped in shock. Knowing Ian, he would definitely not leave the pack for no reason, unless something happened. Was he chasing Beryl and Arron?
At the thought of that now, I believed it was actually possible. Beryl and Ian were childhood friends. Wherever Beryl would go, Ian would always be there, tailing her. They were rarely apart.
Nonetheless, I sensed that something wasnât right. If Ian really was chasing Beryl and Arron, he wouldnât have waited and left the following day. He would chase after them right away.
âYou search the surrounding areas of the pack and look for him. If you still canât track him down, try taking the route to the capital city.â I ordered more people to look for Ian, but the elder was a little
hesitant. He was worried because of Blairâs presence in the pack, so he didnât dare to leave easily.
âDonât mind him. Heâll stay in the pack while I am away. You can just go and find Ian.â After thinking for a while, I asked the elder to give Blair my private number.
When the elder heard that I was willing to give Blair that, he breathed a sigh of relief and finally agreed to send more people to look for Ian.
Not long after I hung up the phone, Blair called me, still in a familiar voice and tone.
âI was afraid youâd keep pretending as if you donât me,â Blair mocked me from the other end of the line. With half a smile, I responded, âThere is a reason for that and I canât explain it all in just a few words. We will talk about it in person later on.â
Being the considerate person that he was, Blair replied in a soft tone, âI know. You donât have to tell me.â Then, he stopped chuckling and asked seriously, âYou gave me your private number because you need my help, right?â
âYes, youâre right.â I heaved a deep sigh, feeling slightly embarrassed. The first thing I did after not speaking with each other for five years was call him and ask for his help. But I had to do this as it was crucial to find Ian.
âTell me, whatâs the matter?â Blair asked patiently. âA lone wolf from our pack has wandered off, and Iâm hoping you can help us track him down. His name is Ian; he is Rinâs child. He came to the border pack with me.â
âI remember that wolf. I ran across him once while searching for Rufus. Donât worry. I will send more people to find Ian later.â
âThank you.â
After hanging up the phone, I grabbed the bag of snacks and rushed to pick up Beryl. However, by the time I got to the kindergarten, it was already empty and Beryl wasnât there anymore.
I had no choice but to go back. My thoughts were all over the place, realizing that things were a mess right now.
If Ian was really lost, how sad Beryl would be after she regained her memory and learned about it.
I walked dejectedly and called the people of the pack to make sure that they had gone to find Ian. After the reassurance, I somehow felt a little relieved.
Right then, I felt a tug on the back of my collar. The next second, I heard Rufusâ voice from behind.
âFinally got you.â
