Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 1317
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Crystalâs POV:
Beryl soon passed out from b***d loss, and her breath was getting weaker and weaker. âRufus, what should we do? Why hasnât the doctor come yet?â I grabbed Rufusâ hand anxiously. Fear for my daughterâs life made me unable to think straight.
There had to be a way to save Beryl, but even in my panicked state, I could tell that itâd be difficult for a doctor to patch up her wound.
Rufus hugged my trembling body and said steadily, âCalm down. We need to remain calm at this time. Beryl will be fine, okay?â
âNo, Rufus! We canât just sit around and wait for the doctor while Beryl bleeds to death!â I ran my fingers through my hair in distress, my mind racing wildly.
âHubson bit Beryl. Vampire fangs are poisonous, so ordinary treatment wonât work.
Thinking of this, I looked at Beryl in despair. I could see that her life force was fading away little by little. I closed my eyes in pain and said, âRufus, we have to drive Noreenâs soul out now.â
Before Rufus could react, I immediately activated the witch power according to Murrayâs instructions in an attempt to force Noreenâs soul out of Berylâs body.
âNo, Crystal! Stop! It wonât work!â Murrayâs panicked voice pulled me to my senses. He came running towards us, out of breath and sweating profusely. âGod, Iâm so tired! This palace is way too big for an old man like me.â I looked at him in confusion. âWhat do you mean it wonât work.â
Murray walked up to me and then glanced at Beryl. âHubson bit her, right? So even if you drive Noreenâs soul out of her body, Beryl will still die.â
âThen what should we do? We canât let Beryl die, Murray. You must have a way to save her, right?â My fortitude had finally collapsed. I couldnât accept the idea that Beryl would leave us forever. She was still so young and hadnât seen the beauty of the world yet. She couldnât die like this!
Murray squatted down next to Beryl, rolled up his sleeves, and inspected her wound. With a heavy expression on his face, he said, âIâm afraid I have no way The current situation of Beryl is very similar to your previous situation, Three forces are competing for the right in her body at the same time. The container that carries the great powers is small, and it may get exploded. Moreover, Berylâs werewolf power hasnât awakened yet. Itâs very weak. And Noreenâs suppressing her witchcraft. These two combined canât resist Hudsonâs power.
Even if her body wonât implode, sheâll become a zombie- the ldwest level among the vampires.â
âNo, Murray! You have to save her! Youâre supposed to be a powerful wizard.
Youâve seen a lot of things in your life. You must have a way!â The sadness almost suffocated me, driving me mad. So was this the curse of all black witches? Was I doomed to lose all the ones I loved?
I shouldnât have hoped for anything better. A black witchâs bloodline symbolized evil, and whoever carried it was destined to meet tragedy.
I didnât believe it before, but now reality showed me that it was true. I was fated to suffer endless pain thanks to my bloodline.
Rufus was just as depressed as me. He held me in his arms, and I could feel his body trembling as he bit back tears. We were both afraid.
Murray sighed. He took out a palm-sized jade pendant from his pocket and murmured a spell in a low voice. The jade pendant emitted a dark purple light, instantly enveloping Berylâs small body. âThis will at least slow down the speed at which Berylâs life force dissipates. The only thing we can do now is forcefully transfer the power of the black witch from you to Beryl.â
Murray looked at me with a grave expression. âThe more black witch power Beryl has in her system, the greater her chance of survival. But doing this will mean putting your own life at risk.â
