Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 140
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Rufusâ POV:
I was about to say something, but Sylvia suddenly turned around and left before I could even open my mouth. I didnât know why she acted that way, so I quickly followed her.
She just kept walking silently with her head down. I coughed several times, but she didnât even look back at me.
I looked at her back in distress, wondering why she was angry. She was fine in the morning, and nothing seemed wrong during the class.
âOmar, what do you think sheâs thinking now?â I felt like this was even more difficult to figure out than the most profound math problem in the world.
âMaybe sheâs thinking about what happened last night,â Omar answered in an unfathomable but convincing tone.
âAbout what happened last night? Do you think she regretted it?â I panicked at once. âShe canât. Iâm her man now, so she must be responsible for me to the end.â
âRufus, calm down and listen to me first, okay? I think Sylvia is angry because you didnât perform well and satisfy her last night,â Omar calmly analyzed. âYou need to find another chance to show her your full capacity.â
âYouâre right! Iâll take Sylvia back to my room in a moment.â
I kept following behind Sylvia like a ghost, racking my brains of ways to make her happy.
At this point, she suddenly turned around and bumped into my chest.
âDid you hit your head?â I asked, checking her forehead nervously.
Rufusâ POV:
I was about to say something, but Sylvia suddenly turned around and left before I could even open my mouth. I didnât know why she acted that way, so I quickly followed her.
Sylvia didnât say anything. Much to my surprise, she pulled me to a secluded corner and pressed me against the wall.
Sylviaâs POV:
Rufus had been like a ghost, following behind me silently. I slowed down my pace on purpose, but he didnât get closer to me. He was such a fool.
His existence was already eye-catching in the first place. Along the way, I had felt the confused gazes of countless passers-by. I had no choice but to turn around and pull him into a corner where no one could see us.
âWhy are you following me? People are all looking at us,â I said to Rufus angrily, pressing him against the wall fiercely.
The corners of Rufusâ mouth rose, and he pinched my pouting lips. âYouâre finally willing to talk to me.â
I was so angry that I bit his finger. âStop following me.â
Rufus raised his eyebrows disapprovingly and countered, âOkay, I wonât follow you. Iâll just take you back.â
âYouâ¦â I let go of his finger crossly and pulled my body away. âTell me, why are you following me?â
âWell⦠Tell me why youâre angry first.â Rufus reached out and caressed my face.
My cheeks felt hot, so I knew I was blushing. I avoided his gaze. âYou deliberately embarrassed me on stage just now. You made everyone laugh at me.â
âI didnât mean to hurt your feelings.â Rufus immediately put on a serious look. âThere was really something wrong with your punches just now. You were too stiff. It would make it easier for your opponent to find your flaws. Besides, you blink too much. You lowered your head with your eyes closed and dodged as soon as you saw that your opponent was about to attack, so it would be difficult for you to find a good opportunity to fight back.â
âThen why didnât you choose someone else to demonstrate instead? Many of my classmates have seen me embarrassed. If thereâs really something wrong in my punches, you can teach me in private.â The seriousness on his face pissed me off.
Rufus suddenly froze, and his ears turned red in an instant. He carefully held my hands and asked, âDo you really think so? Can I teach you in private?â
âWhy not? Isnât it better to teach me in private? Maybe it is more efficient.â As I spoke, I looked at him in confusion.
Rufus cleared his throat and said, âOkay, Iâll teach you in private from now on then.â
I snorted, feeling a little relieved. I held his hands back and said, âYou just donât know how embarrassed I was today.â
Rufus looked at me guiltily and explained, âI actually wanted to choose someone else. But when I saw you, I couldnât help but want to touch you. I missed your smell, and I wanted to hold you tightly.â
His words dissipated my anger in an instant. And the temperature on my face began to rise.
