Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 169
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Floraâs POV:
After breakfast with Harry, I headed down to the training grounds for class.
Sylvia still didnât show up all morning.
I began to worry. Sylvia was not the type to disappear for no reason, not unless something bad happened to her.
I tried ringing her phone, but there was no answer.
The class was already about to begin, but Sylvia was still nowhere to be found. After some hesitation, I decided not to leave my phone in the cabinet and brought it to class instead.
Blair took attendance as part of the routine. With a quick glance at the class, he frowned and asked, âDoes anyone know where Sylvia and Warren are?â
It was only then that I realized Warren was also missing. I got even more worried for Sylvia.
âAnyone know about Sylviaâs whereabouts?â Blair glanced at his phone and then turned to me. âDo you know anything, Flora?â
âI⦠I donâtâ¦â I staggered to my feet and stuttered. I wasnât comfortable letting everyone here know that Sylvia was missing.
âFlora?â Blair took a couple of steps closer, frowning.
Finally, I cleared my throat. âSylviaâs sick.â
âSick? If she skips classes without telling me in advance, she will get deductions from her grades,â Blair said sternly.
All of a sudden, I felt my phone buzz. But I didnât dare take it out right now while Blair was still looking at me.
While the class was warming up, I discreetly took out my phone and saw a message from Sylvia. My instincts told me that she was in danger. I had to find her as soon as possible.
âWhat are you doing?â Leaning over, Harry whispered to me. âWhat happened to Sylvia? She was completely fine during the morning exercise.â
âIâll tell you later.â I made a gesture telling him to keep silent. Our actions attracted Blairâs attention.
âThe new equipment room is still being reconstructed. Any volunteer to go to the old equipment room in the west wing to fetch the equipment?â Blair asked, looking at us.
I immediately raised my hand. âMe! I can go alone!â
âAlone? Youâre too weak to even fight. How are you going to bring so much equipment on your own?â One of the male students beside me laughed.
Rolling my eyes, I grabbed Harryâs ear. âCome.â
âHey! It hurts!â Harryâs face distorted in pain. âWhat are you doing?â
I let go of his ear. âCome with me to the equipment room!â
Harry rubbed his red, swollen ear and pouted. âNo way! Thatâs so tiring. You shouldnât be the one to do that either. Just let someone else do it!â
At this point, I was very impatient that I pinched his arm. âCome on, youâre a tall and muscular guy. How could you be tired from such a task? Are you a weakling? Just go with me!â
Harry yelped with tears forming in his eyes. He was confused as to why I was hurting him.
I tried my best to give him a wink. âDonât you want to go? The equipmentâs not that heavy. We can move it easily! Just the two of us, right?â
Harry rubbed his arm and looked at me in confusion.
âCome on, Iâll go with you.â I softened my voice. âYou need to put those beautiful muscles to use!â
The praise instantly lifted Harryâs mood. He confidently placed his hands on his h**s and nodded. âYouâre right. Iâll go with you to let you know my real strength.â
âIâll come too.â A male student named Tom spoke up. He ranked fifth in the placement test and was also the strongest werewolf in class. He had dark skin and big muscles, covered in frighteningly large black totem tattoos.
I swallowed the lump in my throat. âOh. You donât⦠have to come. Harryâs already coming with me.â
He was the one who usually did such things as lifting and moving, but I didnât want him to do it today.
Without even looking at me, Tom grabbed my collar and flung me to the other side of the grounds as if I weighed nothing. He then walked up to Blair and scowled, âI said Iâm coming too.â
Blair gave us a cold look. He probably didnât expect this to come out of a simple request to move equipment.
âWhatever. You decide amongst yourselves.â Blair immediately excluded himself from the matter. He crossed his arms and watched as a quarrel was about to ensue.
His words just seemed to imply that Tom would go with us either way.
Tom walked up to me and aggressively said, âLetâs go.â
âI said Harry and I are enough already.â I waved my hand desperately.
âWhat did you just say?â Tomâs deep voice warned.
âNothing⦠I guess weâll all go together.â I tried everything I could, but I was left with no choice.
