Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 298
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Floraâs POV:
Harry and I cheered wildly below the stage when the referee declared Sylviaâs victory.
Then I hopped to Warrenâs side, smiled at him, and handed him a bottle of water. âGood job! Keep it up and continue working hard.â
Warren took the bottle and gave me a restrained smile. He seemed a little shy. I was about to take a closer look at him when Sylvia came over.
âFlora, come on, get yourself ready. Itâs your turn soon. Remember, immediately concede at the beginning of the game. Donât fight with him,â she reminded me worriedly.
I nodded vigorously. âI get it. I will definitely surrender before he starts to make a move.â
When the refereeâs whistle sounded, I knew that the competition was about to begin, so I walked to the battle ring with a confident smile under everyoneâs expectant eyes.
Toby, who had garish dreadlocks, always wore an expressionless face. But as soon as I approached him, he suddenly sneered.
I stood in front of him and asked in confusion, âWhat are you laughing at?â
The corners of his mouth raised mischievously. He said, âBlair has a bad taste. He doesnât deserve to be a teacher at all.â
âHow dare you humiliate our teacher in public! Watch your words. Otherwise, you will be expelled from the academy.â I was a little pissed by his words.
Although Blair was strict in the class, he was a good person in private.
âDo you think Iâm afraid?â Toby looked at me frivolously and said, âSylvia is just a lowly slave, so people who hang out with her are also losers.â
âShut up! Who do you think you are to say such things about Sylvia? You have no right!â I clenched my fists as anger surged up in my heart.
Toby clicked his tongue and continued mocking, âAnd that Harry, he looks like a very smart person. But unexpectedly, he is a rash fool. Only a blind fool like him will make friends with losers like you. And thereâs another werewolf named Warren. He is kind of smart, but he is just a mere son of a Beta. For me, all of you are as insignificant as ants.â
I was so angry that I wanted to bite him to death. âWho the hell do you think you are? Donât you know that youâre spewing nothing but rubbish?â
Toby snorted coldly. âAre you angry? But what can you do? Youâre just a weak she-wolf. How can you fight against me? I already know your plan. You bunch of cowards will only admit defeat. But itâs okay. At least I donât need to waste my energy. However, once the game starts, I wonât spare you. So if you want to surrender, hurry up and do it now, you loser!â
Every word that Toby said fueled my anger. I was so furious that my whole body trembled, and my throat was dry.
I would never let this bastard go.
Maybe I could use what Warren had taught me to fight against Toby. Even if I couldnât win this game, I must punch this idiot hard before admitting defeat.
The referee blew his whistle again, indicating that the game officially began.
I gathered all my strength and attacked first. Warren said that I had to be quick and ruthless when I made a move. I shouldnât have too many concerns and aim at the enemyâs fatal point.
I kept in mind everything he had taught me. At this critical moment, I did my best.
I punched Toby hard at his vital part. But before I could feel good about myself, I found that my strength didnât shake him even a little.
Toby was faster than me. Before I could react, he slammed me to the ground.
A sinister smile crept across his face. âI donât know where you learned that move, but itâs really good. However, all your efforts are in vain in the face of absolute power.â
