Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 435
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Rufusâ POV:
I opened the door and sure enough, Sylvia was standing outside.
She was holding a bottle of red wine and two glasses, looking at me with a smile.
I let her into the room. Although I was a little surprised, I was still happy to see her charming smile. âWhat brings you here, honey?â
Sylvia put the wine and the glasses down then turned around to hug me. With a smile on her beautiful face, she batted her eyelashes and said, âNothing. I just missed you.â
I leaned my forehead against hers and sighed. âI thought youâd get my hints.â
Sylvia was stunned. She looked at me blankly and blinked in confusion, as if she had no idea what I was talking about.
Her reaction made me feel a little strange. âWhatâs wrong?â
Sylvia shook her head and stared at me with her big clear eyes. Pouting like a child, she asked, âBut, Rufus, didnât you miss me?â
I smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. âWhy are you so clingy today?â
âMaybe because I got nervous in such a strange place.â Sylvia leaned her head on my shoulder and sighed sadly. âRufus, are you mad at me because I came to you without your permission?â
âNo. Donât be silly.â I chuckled. In that moment, I found myself wishing that Sylvia could rely on me more.
Sylvia raised her head and stuck out her lower l*p. âDo you want a drink?â
Without waiting for my answer, she turned around and poured two glasses of wine on the table. âI stole them from the banquet. I wanted to have a little wine so that I could fall asleep faster.â
âWe still have work to take care of tomorrow. So no more drinking tonight.â I couldnât help but frown. Why was Sylvia acting unusually active tonight?
âWeâll only have a little. Itâll be fine.â Sylvia raised her glass and took a sip. Then, she immediately wrinkled her nose. âItâs a little bitter. Here, taste it.â
As she spoke, she put the glass close to my lips. However, she suddenly lost her balance and spilled half the contents of the glass onto my clothes. My thin shirt was drenched in red wine.
Sylvia quickly put down the glass and fetched some tissue to wipe my shirt. âYouâre soaked! How about you just take it off?â
Before she could reach for the hem of my shirt, I grabbed her hands and stared at her. âYou are seducing me, Sylvia.â
Sylvia chuckled and leaned against my chest submissively, her hot breath faintly brushing against my collarbone.
âYouâre different tonight, Sylvia,â I said in a low hoarse voice.
Sylvia smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck. Her body rubbed against mine like a seductive snake. âDo you like it?â
I didnât say anything. I just stared at her red lips longingly and felt restless.
âDo you feel anything strange?â I asked Omar internally.
âA little,â he admitted. Omar was clearly also confused. âPerhaps itâs because Sylvia got drunk at the banquet. Maybe thatâs why sheâs acting weird.â
âDo you think so? But at the banquet, I kept a watchful eye on her. I didnât see her drink any alcohol.â
Sylvia couldnât hold her drink, so I had told her not to drink outside except when she was with me.
âCould she have drank with Flora and the others after the banquet?â Omar posited. âBut she has Sylviaâs scent. You must be overthinking. Who would be so bold as to pretend to be Sylvia to seduce you? Thatâd be a death sentence!â I lowered my head to look into Sylviaâs eyes. She clung to my body and stared at me with lustful eyes.
The restlessness in my heart was getting more and more uncontrollable.
âI want it. Give it to me.â Sylviaâs red lips parted and she gently pushed me backward.
I didnât resist and fell on the bed behind me.
