Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 476
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Rufusâ POV:
As soon as I knew about the hunting from the vampire slave, I ordered her to m**n with pleasure so that it wouldnât garner suspicion.
Although I had driven the guards who had brought the slave here, I knew Geoffrey might have other spies. We had to make them believe we were having s*x in the room.
The slave didnât dare to disobey my order. She squatted in the corner of the bed and began moaning. She couldnât speak, so she could only m**n and g***n as if she were having a good time.
I didnât bother staying longer. I turned into a wolf and jumped down from the balcony.
There were two guards at the front door of the villa. I avoided them and climbed over the wall to look for Flora.
The place Geoffrey had arranged for them was close by. I got there in a few minutes.
To my surprise, I found Warren squatting outside Floraâs room.
âWhat happened?â I frowned.
Warren stood up and looked at me, his face flushed with embarrassment. âPrince Rufus, what are you doing here?â
Then, he looked over my shoulder and frowned. âWhere is Sylvia?â
I didnât have time to answer his question. âWhere is Flora? I need to talk to her.â
âShe is inside.â Warren glanced at the closed door and sighed bitterly. âSheâ¦â
I quickly walked over and knocked on the door without giving him a chance to explain.
However, Floraâs angry voice startled me. âF**k off! You idiot! Why donât you go and sleep instead of lurking outside my door like a pervert?â
I turned to look at Warren, only to find that his face had turned scarlet. He looked embarrassed.
I rolled my eyes and knocked on the door again. âFlora, open the door. Itâs me, Rufus.â
A momentary silence lapsed, followed by a flurry of footsteps. Then, the door opened, revealing Floraâs panic-stricken face.
âWhat are you doing here, Prince Rufus?â
âSylvia might be in danger,â I said bluntly. âGive me the location of the wall hole.â
The b***d on Floraâs face drained in an instant. âWhat happened? Didnât Sylvia come to see you?â
I briefly explained everything to her and Warren, including what I had heard about the hunting game. âIf the slave wasnât lying, tonight would be a feast for vampires. Sylvia is alone outside the wall, and Iâm afraid she would get into trouble.â
Hearing that, Flora and Warren led me to the enormous wall right away.
âI sensed something was wrong. Sylvia looked flustered as if she was hiding something from me. I shouldnât have just let her go like that.â Flora couldnât stop blaming herself on the way.
âSylvia went outside the wall alone without informing you because she didnât want you to get into trouble,â Warren comforted her. âThere is no point in blaming yourself. We should go there and find her.â
I didnât say anything. Although my strides were confident, my mind was a mess. I could barely breathe. My stomach churned with anticipation. I wanted to see Sylvia right away and reprimand her for taking such a huge risk. I wanted to have her by my side and make sure she didnât go anywhere.
Just as we were about to reach the enormous wall, something unexpected happened.
Geoffrey arrived with his army and stopped us.
Anger surged through my veins. I glared at him. He was surrounded by soldiers, and I wanted to kill him with my bare hands.
âWhere are you going, Prince Rufus?â Geoffrey asked politely.
âEnough! Stop acting.â I sneered. âSince you have brought the army to stop me, Iâm sure you have found out about where weâre heading, havenât you?â
Geoffrey laughed humorlessly. âYou are awesome. It looks like my tricks canât deceive you.â
With that, he violently dragged Ashley from behind and pushed her toward me.
Her face was covered with bruises and whip marks. She was hugging herself, crying bitterly.
âWhen did you find it?â I asked coldly.
