Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 494
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Floraâs POV:
Warren and I were itching to take action once we received the task from Rufus.
As usual, Warren walked me back to my accommodation. I walked in front of him calmly and listened to his incessant nagging.
On the way there, we ran into Harry and John. The two of them had the same hairstyle, which was, in a word, messy.
Lately, John had stuck to Harry like glue. It seemed that he was going to be assimilated by Harry.
With a slice of pizza in his mouth, Harry rubbed his sleepy eyes and looked at Warren and me in surprise. âHave you two reconciled?â
I wanted to hit him on the head, but I gave up on second thought. Warren and I were about to embark on a mission together. We needed to put aside any personal grudges first.
Not knowing how to respond, I grabbed the other slice of pizza from Harryâs hand and stuffed it into my own mouth. âEnough questions.â
Harry rolled his eyes. âWhereâs Sylvia? And whereâd you two go this morning? I didnât see you. Did you go on a secret mission without telling me?â
I choked on the pizza I was eating and coughed awkwardly.
Seeing this, Harry put two and two together. âYouâre hiding something from me! You donât love me anymore. You used to take me with you wherever you went, but now you have the audacity to hide things from me.â
Ignoring him, I swallowed the mouthful of pizza and looked for an excuse to get out of this sticky situation. âWe got up at five oâclock in the morning and went for a run. If you want to join us, Iâll wake you up at half past four tomorrow morning.â
âOh, in that case, no thanks.â Harryâs eyelashes fluttered guiltily. âI can cheer for you from my room, though.â
I pursed my lips in disgust. âDo whatever you want.â
âBy the way, John and I are going on a sudden mission to the suburbs. What about you guys?â Harry suddenly asked.
Despite my guilty conscience, I nudged Warren and said, âWe also have a mission, right?â
âYes, but itâs different from yours. We have to stay in here to catch all the fleeing poultry,â Warren lied through his teeth emotionlessly.
Harry looked at him in disbelief. âWhat a weird task! But it sounds worse than going to the suburbs.â
âYes, yes, I envy you,â I echoed hastily.
However, Harry was unconvinced. âBut I still want to be with you. Weâre a team! We shouldnât be separated, right?â
âBut weâre not conjoined twins,â I retorted impatiently.
âThenâ¦â
Harry pouted and wanted to say something more, but John started to drag him away.
âWhat are you doing? Iâm not done yet!â Harry protested, but he didnât try to resist John.
Harry seemed to listen to John obediently these days. Although his obedience was mixed with some reluctance.
Scratching my chin, I watched them walk away. âWarren, donât you think theyâve been acting strange lately?â
Warren thought for a while and replied, âNot really. But John seemed to have figured it out. I think he knows something has happened. Heâs really perceptive.â
Pursing my lips unhappily, I chose to shrug it off for now. I just hoped that Sylvia was safe and unhurt.
âDo you want to eat a proper meal?â Warren asked, glancing at the half-eaten pizza slice in my hand.
âNo. Letâs go back.â I wolfed down the remaining pizza then took Warren back to the room to prepare for the petition.
The more time we wasted, the more danger Sylvia was in.
We had to hurry.
