Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 680
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Alinaâs POV:
The gemstone in my palm was becoming progressively hotter. Tears unconsciously spilled from my eyes because of the burning sensation. I swallowed a screamed and my b*ody shook uncontrollably.
The truth had turned out to be so cruel. I was a laughing stock.
This whole scenario was like a vile joke. Everything that I was proud of had shattered into pieces like glass. Human emotions could be so phony.
It didnât matter if it was my father or Warren.
Even Owen, who always loved me above everyone else, didnât even spare me a glance after he had gained a daughter-in-law.
The extremely high temperature of the gem seemed to want to make me face the reality. The burning sensation in my hand made my breaths come more rapidly.
Immense sadness and resentment tore my worthless soul apart.
I scanned everyone in a state of panic, hoping that someone would speak up and tell me that what I was thinking was untrue.
That my father still loved me and Warren hadnât left me. âAlina, whatâs wrong with you? You look so pale. If youâre not feeling well, go to your room and rest.â My fatherâs voice was dripping with impatience, as if he wanted me to disappear.
I burst into laughter as the tears continued to stream down my face unchecked. This was my father. Now that he had another daughter, he could treat me nonchalantly as if I were trash.
It finally seemed to dawn on him that something was very wrong. He came closer to me, his face creased with worry, and asked, âAlina, what happened to you? Why did you cut Sylviaâs hand with a razor blade?â
âNo reason!â
I furiously interrupted his question, glared at the gathered crowd, and finally fixed my eyes on Sylvia.
âI just hate her! I detest this b*tch! She is a goody-two- shoes. But whenever she meets a male wolf, she wags her tail to beg for attention like a sl*t she is. I loathe her. I wish I could chop her up into pieces!â I cursed her with passionate hatred. If words could K*ll, I certainly wanted to murder this b*tch who only stole stuff that belonged to others!
My father froze in shock and stud*ied me in disbelief. âAlina, do you even comprehend what youâre saying? How could you say something so vicious? Itâs not like you at all!â
I sneered. âFather, you are such a loser. You donât even know your daughterâs true nature. Iâve had enough of behaving like a lady. I donât care if you donât like me in my true form. Anyway, you have more than one daughter.â
My father was so enraged that he slammed his hand on the table. âAlina! What are you babbling about? Snap back to your senses. This is not the place for you to mess around!â
âIâm in my senses. Donât worry about me. Your real cause of concern should be if the wedding will proceed smoothly.â I glowered at him challengingly. He was so desperate to get me married and kick me out of the pack, but I didnât want him to have this happiness.
âWhat do you mean?â My fatherâs b*ody vibrated violently as he pointed one finger at me and asked, âYou want to run away from your wedding?â
I chuckled and replied, âGood guess. I promise you that the wedding you are so eagerly looking forward to will only end up being a vain hope of yours.â
Then I shoved the table, overturning it.
I wasnât happy with this sh*tty banquet, and I wouldnât let everyone else be happy either.
My father completely lost his temper now and shouted, âGuards! Take her back to her room. She is not allowed to step out of the room without my permission, and no one is allowed to bring her food!â
Owen stepped forward and said in a coaxing voice, âCalm down. Alina only said all this out of anger. Iâm sure she didnât mean it.â
My father didnât pay heed to him. He pushed Owen away and said, âDonât try to change my mind. I will teach her a lesson today.â
I stood to one side with an icy expression and stayed quiet. Then, the guards took me away.
