Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 687
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Leonardâs POV:
To say I was stunned would be an understatement. I didnât expect this possibility at all.
I immediately sat up straight and grabbed Edwinâs shoulder and asked, âWhat do you mean? Didnât Olivia love me?â
If she did love me, she wouldnât leave me or erase my memories.
Immediately, Edwin shook his head and said, âNo, itâs not what you think. She loved you as much as you loved her and she did that for a reason.â
âWhat is that reason?â I couldnât understand. In my opinion, even death shouldnât be able to stop the two of us from loving each other.
Edwin turned around without saying a word and walked towards the bookshelf. Then, he took out a dark red wooden box from a compartment and handed it to me. âOlivia left this to you. See for yourself.â
After saying that, he left the room to give me some privacy.
My hands were shaking when I opened the box. Inside it, there was a letter and a manâs ring.
I put the ring aside and opened the letter and a beautiful handwriting came into the view.
On the letter, it read, âDear Leonard, If you are reading this letter, it means Edwin couldnât hide the truth from you anymore.
Please donât blame him because I am the one who begged him to do so. Forgive me for erasing your memories and leaving you like that. You might blame me and hate me, but it doesnât matter anymore. We didnât have other choice. Iâm sure all of our pain and helplessness will be worth it in the end. I couldnât stop thinking what you would look like when you read this letter. I guess you are still the same uptight Leonard who is always serious.
I can still remember the first time I saw you. You were standing in the crowd in your military uniform. Everyone was in a good mood and laughing, but you were the only one who looked out of place with a long face.
At that time, the only thought in my mind was to make you laugh no matter what.
So, I challenge you to spar with me because that was the only way I could think of to make you talk to me. I couldnât help but think how you would look like when you burst into laughter.
To be honest, it was really funny when you first fought with me. You let me win deliberately in front of everyone. I believed youâd tried to make it subtle, but I must say it really didnât work out as expected.
That was when I saw your gentleman side.
We were destined to meet and fall in love with each other. The Moon Goddess made us mates, but we didnât end up together in the end. But I think itâs also fate.
When I found out that I was pregnant with your child, I was ecstatic. The baby was the most beautiful thing that had happened to us.
I knew you would love our child very much. But at that time, I found out that I had inherited that damn bloodline of the evil black witch. Your life would be in danger if I stayed with you.
So, I had no choice but to leave.
I love you, Leonard. Even though we have been apart for so many years, I still love you. Believe me.
After I left you, I came back to my pack. And later, I found out that you married a noble lady arranged by your family and had a daughter with her.
I am really happy for you and I wish you all the happiness. I have nothing to ask for as long as you are safe and sound.
I named our daughter Sylvia. She has your beautiful dark green eyes. I can see your face in her which makes me miss you more.
I really hope you can meet her one day. I owe two people in my life. One is you and the other one is Sylvia. Trust me, I didnât want to leave you, but I have to accept my fate. Because of my choices, Sylvia grew up fatherless. For that, she was looked down upon by others.
Iâm worried that no one will take care of Sylvia after I d*ie. I know that I shouldnât disturb your now peaceful and happy life, but try understand me as a mother. So, I selfishly wrote this letter and gave it to Edwin.
If you can take care of our daughter when Iâm gone, I will no longer have any regrets.
I love you for infinity.
Olivia Todd.â
