Fated to the Cursed Lycan Prince Chapter 880
Fated To The Cursed Lycan Prince
Crystalâs POV:
âArron, come here,â I tenderly called out to my baby boy.
He hesitated for a few moments before coming closer to us.
My daughter jumped off my lap and ran to her brother. She grabbed his hand and ran back to me. Apparently she thought that Arron was walking very slowly.
As I watched the twins with amusement, my heart was bursting with love.
âMom,â Arron called out to me again. His face was slightly flushed, and his delicate eyebrows and beautiful eyes looked just like his father.
âIâm here. We havenât seen each other all day. Did you miss me?â I pinched Arronâs cheeks, gathered him in my arms and kissed him.
Arron nodded and softly said, âI missed you, Mom.â
I could see that he was very happy. But he tried hard to not smile and pretended to be indifferent.
Even his temperament was so similar to that manâs.
âAnd me! I missed you too, Mommy! My heart ached because I missed you so much. I wonât feel better until you give me something delicious to eat. Please!â Berylâs face crumpled as she pretended to be sad.
âOkay. To help you feel better, Iâll take you to the dessert parlor for cake tonight!â
âYeah!â Beryl was so ecstatic that she nearly jumped. Arron couldnât stop the laugh that burst from his lips.
âBut you both can only have one slice of cake each, or you will get cavities in your teeth,â I said with a serious expression. I didnât allow them to have too many sweets, but Beryl always managed to get some and shared with her brother. Sometimes, it was not easy to deal with smart children.
Beryl nodded animatedly and said, âOkay, Mommy. I wonât eat too much. Iâll listen to you and be a good girl.â
I burst into laughter as I observed her cheeky expression.
At this moment, Perry, the babysitter, came to us with a worried look.
I stood up and curiously asked, âPerry, whatâs the matter? Why do you look so upset? Did you neglect taking good care of the newly bought flowers again, causing them to wither?â
Perry was a middle-aged plump she-wolf. She was still single. She had a gardening hobby, but very few of her plants and flowers survived.
âNo.â Perry sighed and seemed to be in a dilemma. âBerylâs teacher called and informed me that she didnât do her homework. Whatâs more, she even set fire to all her classmatesâ homework.â
When I heard this, my smile vanished and I pinned Beryl with a stern gaze.
She instantly hid behind Arron, so that I could only see the small bun on the right side of her head.
âBeryl! Why did you do that? If you donât confess the truth, you will not get dessert today,â I said angrily. Beryl had had a naughty streak since she was a baby. She was now a troublemaker at school. She had created problems more than once.
Beryl walked out from behind her brother with tears in her eyes. âI did it so no one would find out that I hadnât finished my homework, because no one would have any homework to hand inâ¦â
I was so furious that I wanted to discipline her, but Perry interrupted, âThe teacher also said that Arron is clever and obedient. He is always the topper in his class.â
While Perry was complimenting Arron, I noticed Beryl make a face at her nanny. I glared at Beryl, but she showed no fear.
I could feel a headache coming on. I would have to talk to her later. It was not good for a kid to hate going to school.
When I was about to interrupt Perry, I saw Beryl sneak behind her. A small ball of black fire appeared in her hand and was about to burn the hemline of Perryâs dress.
I was alarmed and shouted, âBeryl, come over here right now!â
