Veer's pov
We all were seated in the meeting room waiting for our Consigliere as she never showed us her face for her reasons which we accepted but now it's time we should know who is behind the marvelous ideas so we were waiting for her to arrive when the door opened
And I was utterly shocked seeing RANI SA there she was introduced as the Consigliere MORTA I never imagined my innocent rani sa being in mafia and she didn't even told me about it
She came and sat beside me and if I'm being honest she was looking breathtaking in that dress for a moment when I looked at her I forgot breathing....
So yea then the meeting started
Naira's pov
So the meeting just ended
Everyone was leaving the meeting Hall when veer said
"Morta wait I have to talk to you about something"
I gave him a look and sat back when the underboss asked if he should also stay and veer declined my p.a looked at me worridly and I gave her a assured look and she also left
As soon as everyone left veer came towards me and hugged me tightly I was frozen for a second by his this reaction
But I hugged him back
After some moment he broke the hug and teasingly said
"So MORTA huh!? Goddes of death!!!"
"So ODITH huh!? death himself!!!!" I replied teasingly to which we both laughed when his p.a entered without knocking and seeing him laugh he was shocked
"WHAT THE FUCK THE ODITH KNOWS HOW TO LAUGH!?" He said
"Shut up and leave and I dare you to tell this to anyone you'll be dead" Said veer and he just looked down and left
I gave veer a smile and he kept his hands on my waist maintaining a distance between us
"So rani sa why didn't you tell me about this before we would've came together now none knows that you're my wife and even if a single person lays eyes on you he will be dead" He said looking dead into my eyes
"I wanted to and I'm sorry I didn't but I didn't got the time to and I thought of surprising you when I realized we are going to the same meeting acha I guess we should go back it's already 6 and we have to go to a party at 8" I said
"Rani sa you don't have to apologize and yes let's go baby we have to get ready too" He said and hearing baby from him gave me butterflies
Veer's pov
We both left towards our penthouse
As everyone have already left
We both were in the car seated on the backseat she was sitting on the window side and I'm in middle with my hand on her shoulder and she kept her head in my shoulder
"Veer" She said
"Hmm" And I just hummed in reply
"In the party everyone will know that we're married I'm scared for their reaction!!!" She said
"Baby you don't have to worry you are there queen and the nicest person I know they will surely accept you Naira" I said
And she nodded again keeping her head on my shoulder I sighed and kept my head on hers
After some time we reached our penthouse
And decided to rest for a little while
We were watiching a show
It was 7 when she got up to get ready
After half an hour or something she shouted from the room "veer cone and get ready else we'll get late"
"Coming rani sa" I said and keeping my laptop aside I went to get ready....
