Veer's pov

I entered her room

Seeing her lying on  that bed made me feel guilty I was trying to control my tears

Seeing her like this

Abhiveer and abheer had tears in their eyes but the thing which was least expected was Jay wasn't crying he had rage all over his face as if he is just trying to control not to kill someone then and there

Soon my presence was also noticed

Naira looked at me and smiled... That smile I waited for it for months

I just wanted to be in her embrace very bad

As everyone saw me they started leaving one by one shubh was the last one to leave he patted my shoulder and left the room

Closing the door behind him

I looked at her when she opened her arms for me without wasting a second I rushed in her arms

I sat on bed no words were exchanged but I was feeling at home just being in her arms

I  inhaled her scent hugging her so tightly that even air couldn't pass through uss

"Ve...veer" She spoke

I hugged her more tightly hearing her even if it was even possible

She brushed her hands through my hair

Naira's pov

"Bhabhi maa I'm glad that you are all good" Abhiveer cried hugging me both abhi and abheer were crying but  the thing which was weird was Jay had no expression on his face his hands were rolled into a fist

"Of course baby what will happen to me" I said

Trying to act all normal

"You should've been more careful naira what if something would've happened to you huh? And tell me what's up with you not having food properly for months???" Asked shubh bhai

But before I could reply

I saw veer standing on the door

He looked so lost

I looked at  him and gave him a smile which to my disappointment he did not return

Everyone saw him and started leaving

As soon as they left I opened my arms and to my gladness he rushed in my arms he hugged me tightly

When I felt something wet on my shoulder and realized he is crying

"Ve...veer" I said when he hugged me more tightly

Trying to hug me so tightly as if to embrace me in his arms and never let me leave

I brushed my hands through his hair

"Veer dont cry" I said

He broke the hug sitting in front of me he looked at me

"Naira can't you take care of yourself? If I wasn't talking to you it doesn't mean that you will turn your own brain off and don't eat food properly or don't care for yourself... I swear to God naira if something would've happened to you I would have died" He spoke

And I gasped at his last line

"Veer why would you say that?" Saying I held his hand

When I noticed a cut

"What is this veer?" I asked

He took back his hand and spoke

"N.No.. Nothing" He spoke

Stammering

"Veer did you hurt yourself?" I said looking deep into his eyes

Knowing he wouldn't lie or me

And I was right he nodded slowly and I gasped

Flashback:-

Author's pov

Veer was standing in the washroom in front of the mirror looking at him feeling the worst thinking he was not able to save the queens of his family and now if something happens to naira he will loose his queen a tear left his eye

How can he let this happen how did he let everything that happens to her happen

He started feeling anxious opening the drawers trying to find the thing he was away from... From years but now he need to use that again

He finally found it... His pocket knife... After his mother's death he used to often self harm which no one even have idea about

He took it and made a cut on his arm letting the blood ooze Out of his hand he felt it burn

But as soon as he realized what he did he came to his senses the fear of naira seeing the cut took over him he never cared if anyone saw the cuts because none cared but now he have naira in his life who care alot about him

He tried washing the cut to stop the oozing blood which was not stopping after some time it did stop  and as soon as he came out to get ready he got the call from shubh

Flashback ends...

"Why would you do that veer?" I asked

"Naira this... I mean you in this situation it's all because of me I should've been more careful towards you... I deserved it naira I really do... I would kill everything that hurt you even if it includes me this is nothing compared to that" He spoke and I looked at him wide eyed

A tear rolled down my eye

"Why veer didn't you even thought for even once how much it would hurt me thinking you hurt yourself because of me...veer I didn't said I love you in air I really do... How could you even do this" I said looking at him with hurt

He hugged me once again

"I'm sorry naira I really am please forgave me for whatever I did including ignoring you please forgive me baby" He said in a pleading voice

I looked at him "rana sa punishment to apko milegi for hurting yourself now you just wait and watch" Saying I attached my lips to his kissing him slowly

Which he also reciprocated

Taking the lead which I gladly let him take we kissed for some time when I started feeling breathless I patted his shoulder when he left me and joined our foreheads

"Apki sari saza manzur hai bas kabhi hume chod ke mat jaiyega rani sa" He spoke taking heavy breats in his husky voice which did somthing to me...
