139. The Mysterious Bamboo Forest

Han Tingxuan finally confirmed that his male wife was here in his arms.

After hugging for a while, Han Tingxuan let go of the person in his arms.

“Yanzhi, why are you here?” When he asked this question, Han Tingxuan finally had time to think about many other questions. For example, Mo Yanzhi should be in the palace at this time and should not be here!

And most importantly, Zhang Xiuqi and Zhang Qiao already said that they only took four days to get here. Damn it. Did it mean that Yanzhi pulled up all night to get here?

Han Tingxuan asked hurriedly. "What's wrong? Did something happen?”

Han Tingxuan let out a sigh of relief. Then, he went out on his own, hiding Mo Yanzhi in the room.

Han Tingxuan walked outside. As he was told, Sun Yuan and Official Wang walked towards him. They came to tell that they had summoned soldiers.

Soldiers from three parties headed outside on their way. Han Tingxuan took more than 100 guards that had traveled with him from the City of Capital, leaving more than 20 of them in the county office. Led by a man,  Han Tingxuan and his troop advanced towards the West Mountain.

They did not encounter any obstacles along the way before they arrived at the West Mountain.

They found that there were many torches in the bamboo forest on the West Mountain. It should be torched left by Tian Yusu.

"Go and save them!" Han Tingxuan immediately said.

Even though Han Tingxuan said so, he did not move. However, a small number of people carried on, led by Liu Yong.

Sun Yuan and Official Wang did not take an action either. Sun Yuan wanted to do something, but before he could speak, he was stopped by Han Tingxuan. Therefore, he had to be stuck with Han Tingxuan.

There were more torches on the West Mountain. Han Tingxuan watched and waited at the foot of the mountain.

He could hear the sounds from above sometimes, and even people's cries of pain. It suggested that someone was caught by the trap.

Han Tingxuan frowned harder.

After two quarters, Han Tingxuan looked at Official Wang beside him.

"Official Wang, have you ever been here?"

Official Wang shook his head and started to sweat. "No, I have never been here. Why?"

Han Tingxuan smiled and didn't say anything. At this moment, a guard came down to report the situation.

"Your highness, there are a lot of traps on the mountain. We have suffered a lot of damage and many of our fellas have suffered light injuries. We await your order."

"Many traps?" Han Tingxuan frowned. "Did you see Prince Xian and Han?"

Han Tingxuan waited on the spot for a long time before a guard came to report. "Your highness, Prince Xian found a secret tunnel on the mountain. Now, Prince Xian and Han have gone into the secret tunnel!"

"Hmm? A secret tunnel?" Han Tingxuan raised an eyebrow. "How can there be a secret tunnel on a western mountain?"

"I don't know either," the guard immediately said.

Han Tingxuan thought for a moment and said, "Support and protect Prince Xian. Follow him to see what is going on in the secret tunnel!"

Han Tingxuan looked at him. "Oh? Is there any news from below?”

"Not yet."

Han Tingxuan frowned. "You guys, come and try to shout to them."

"Yes!" The adjutant went straight to the hole. "Anyone in the hole, say something, what's going on?!"

However, he heard an echo, but he could not hear anything else!

Han Tingxuan said with a serious expression, "Looks like there's something strange downstairs."

Official Wang sweated heavily on his head. "Your highness, this…"
