Chapter 200
The Substitute Bride Doted by My Billionaire Husband
Chapter 200 Olive, Letâs Divorce.
Olive didnât know why he suddenly brought up the topic. But slie was not a child, it was quite obvious that Marvin liked her.
Olive shook her head and denied, âNo, I donât know.â
Elvis hastily interrupted her.
âThen let me inform you now. Marvin likes you. He had fallen in love with you at first sight in Imperial city two years ago. He came to LA in search of you. Heâs been here for over a year. So now you know.â
Olive turned to look at him, and she defended, âWhy are telling me this? I donât like him!â
Elvis looked ahead of him. He focused on the road, and didnât utter another word.
They both arrived at the Red Villa and entered into the bedroom.
Elvis whispered, âGo and take a shower first.â
âMr. Augustine, Iâ¦â
âGo have a shower first, then once youâre done, you say whatsoever you wanna say.â Elvis interrupted her hastily.
His attitude was domineering and tyrannic. Olive grabbed her pyjamas and walked into the bathroom.
She took a shower as quickly as possible and then walked out.
Elvis stood beside the window smoking. He was clothed in a black shirt and trousers. He was handsome and matured. Only his fine jawline and knitted eyebrows could be seen, as half of his face was blurred by the smoke.
Olive moved closer to him and hugged him from behind.
âMr. Augustine, nothing happened between Marvin and I. I really can explainâ¦â
âAre you tired?â Elvisâs cold voice questioned.
âHuh?â
Elvis maintained his position and didnât turn around.
âIâm asking you, are you tired of being with me? I can lose my temper at any moment, Iâm always sick.
You really should be tired of all these, right?â
Olive shook her head.
âNo, Iâm not tired at all.â
âOh, so you ainât tired of the constant fights and argument? But Iâm tired of everything. Olive, letâs get a divorce.â
The words exploded in Oliveâs ears. She unwrapped her hands from his waist and stood.
dumbfoundedly.
Elvis turned around, his narrow and deep eyes fell on her face.
âIâm not kidding this time, letâs get divorce. Iâll have the lawyer prepare the divorce papers. As for the properties, youâll have a fair share. You can sign the divorce papers immediately itâs been delivered to you, and then weâre divorced.â
Olive looked at his handsome face in a daze. It took Olive some seconds to realize that he was serious and really wanted a divorce, âWhy? Whyâ¦. Why should we get a divorce?â Olive stuttered. She couldnât understand why he needed a divorce. So she wanted him to explain it to her.
Elvis let out a scoff.
âWhy should we get a divorce? Donât you know why? Ever since I got married to you, Iâm always being called to come and catch you cheating. Like, that has become my daily routine. And all you keep saying is that nothing happened between you and Marvin! He even took off your mask today, and still claim that nothing happened! And you expect me to believe that?â
âEnough!â Oliveâs hands were clenched into a fist, and her watery eyes glared at him.
âYou donât have to slander me!â
Elvis looked at her reddened eyes. He knew that he became extremely jealous ever he saw her with another man, hence the reason why he had to push her away for his sanity âThere are many ways to please a man, how do I know if youâve ever pleased Marvin? Your mask was taken off and you didnât even know, who knows what you two could have done when you wereâ¦
Before he could complete his sentence, Olive raised her hand and slapped him hard across the face.
The cigarette between his fingers were burning close to his fingers, but he felt no pain at all.
Olive raised her hand and touched his face.
âDid I hurt you? Iâm sorry, I didnât mean to hit you.â
Elvis looked at her face, her eyes were watery, but she blinked severally, preventing the tears from falling.
Olive stretched out her arms and wrapped around his waist. She pressed her face on his chest and muttered, âMr. Augustine, Iâm so cold. Please hug me, okay?â
The cigarette fell from his fingertips, and his two big hands were hanging by his side. He could already feel her cold body temperature.
Elvis raised his hands, but they froze midâair.
âMr. Augustine, Iâm really not feeling too well, why should we be talking about divorce now? Please just hold me, Iâm feeling a little dizzy.â Olive hugged tightly to his waist. But she still didnât get a response from Elvis.
Olive raised her eyes and looked at him, before she could say another word, he had pushed her away from his arms.
Olive lost her balance and fell on the soft carpet. Once she fell to the ground, she moaned and looked at Elvis.
Elvis stared back at her, his long and narrow eyes were bloodshot. He twitched his lips and his cruel and hoarse voice sounded.
âReserve a little dignity for yourself, and donât pester me any further. The divorce papers will arrive soon, endeavor to sign it.â
