Chapter 364
The Substitute Bride Doted by My Billionaire Husband
Chapter 364 Oliveâs First Dance.
Mrs. Robert had only one child which was Damien.
As a mother, she expected her son to grow up and give her grandchildren. But Damien happened to be less interested in promiscuity and women affairs. So when Nora claimed to be pregnant for Damien, Mrs. Robert didnât have a choice but to accept her.
Later on. Nora cheated. Damein left home, and got himself busy with work.
Mrs. Robert wanted him to find another woman, probably a good woman and have another family with.
But Damien didnât care about that. He didnât like women. To him, it made no difference whom his wife was.
Mrs. Robert was unwilling to give up on the matter. Throughout the years, she had sent people to investigate about Damienâs private life. And the reports were always negative. There really was no woman by his side.
Mrs. Robert walked over and grabbed her phone which was on the table.
âHello.â She said into the phone.
Soon. Damienâs deep and magnetic voice sounded from the other end.â Hello, mom, happy eightieth birthday.â Mrs. Robert snorted, and replied.
âIf you want me to really have a happy birthday, then you have to live up to your expectations. How has it bren going? Have you met anyone out there?â
Each time Damien called, Mrs Robert would bring up the topic. On the other end of the line, Damien said,
âMom. I have to something to attend to. Iâll call you back later.â
âDamien, I know you donât like women that much. But if you can, please stay away from Nora and donât get into bed with her! Mrs. Robert said angrily.
Damien paused for a while and didnât speak.
Mrs. Robert was already an older lady, and she knew her son very well, so she could immediately hear Damienâs chaotic breathing. She squinted her eyes, and then asked.
âWhy? Iâm just saying because you two are still legally married to each other. And you both may decide to relive your old love at any time.
âMum, i really have to hang up now.â Damien replied impatiently, and was about to hang up.
âWait a minute, I have something important to tell you.â Mrs. Robert stopped him.
âWhatâs the matter, mum?â He inquired.
âI went to Los Angeles a while ago, I got saved by a beautiful angel. Her name is Olive Hart. I like that girl so much, and I want to recognize her as my granddaughter. So, when are you free to return home?
I want to officially adopt her as my granddaughter, and I want you there.â
Mrs. Robert wasnât the type of woman who went about liking people. She hadnât liked anyone in the past years. Now that she liked Olive, Damien could naturally accept her request.
âIâll finish up my work soon, and return home. As long as youâre happy, then Iâm in for it.â Damien responded.
In the party hall, Marvin stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Oliveâs waist.
Due to the fact that the Mrs. Robert had publicly expressed her love for Olive, everyone knew that the trend of the Robert family was about to change. Crystal, had obviously fallen out of favour with Mrs.
Robert, and Olive had taken her spol
âThe first time I saw Miss Hart, I felt like she wasnât an ordinary person. It turns out that sheâs someone Mrs. Robert
knows.
âNot only that, Miss Hart is even more attractive to Mr. Marvin. Mr. Marvin really has good eyes!â
âIf thatâs the case, that means that Marvin will soon be the grandson in-law to Mrs. Robert!â Some ladies chatted amongst themselves.
Olive didnât want to socialize. She only wore a smile, and nodded at the praises rendered to her.

Marvin could see her discomfort. He lowered his eyes and said to her,
âOlive, letâs dance.â
It was now time to dance. Everyone invited their female partners to dance.
âAlright.â Olive nodded.
The two of them were about to move to the dance floor, but a handsome and tall body suddenly appeared before them. It was Elvis. He had blocked their way.
The scene quickly attracted the attention of the crowd. Everyone stared at Elvis in surprise.
âWhy did president Augustine block Mr. Marvinâs way?â Someone questioned rather audibly.
Oliveâs gaze landed on Elvisâs handsome face, and she frowned lightly. Although she hadnât spared him a glance since she arrived, she could fell Elvisâs eyes on her since she entered the arena.
His gaze was particularly aggressive, that it was hard for anyone not to notice.
But what was he trying to do now? Block their way in front of the crowd?
Marvin pulled Oliveâs into his arm, then he raised his eyes to look at Elvis.
âBro, do you want to invite your fiancee to dance? This is actually the wrong way, Crystal is behind you.â Marvin informed.
In front of so many people, Marvin could seek a way to protect Oliveâs reputation, so he reminded Elvis that his flancer was behind him.
Crystal was indeed behind him. When she saw Elvis blocking Marvin and Oliveâs path, she quickly gritted her teeth angrily.
âWhat exactly does Elvis want to do?â She questioned inwardly.
Elvisâs handsome face was devoid of emotions. His narrow and deep eyes moved from Marvinâs face to Oliveâs palm-sized face. Then he said to Marvin.
âI didnât take the wrong way. Marvin. I donât want to invite my fiancee to dance, but itâs Olive that I want to invite!â
Elvis actually wanted to invite his brotherâs fiancee to dance? Why?
Marvinâs eyes instantly turned cold, and his body exuded a gloomy aura.
âBro. I donât understand what you mean â
âYou donât have to be nervous, Marvin. Soon, you and Olive will get married. And then sheâll become my sister-in-law. Iâm only inviting my prospective sister-in-law to dance, is that too much to ask?â Elvis replied nonchalantly.
It wasnât only too much to ask, but really disrespectful!
Oliveâs first dance ought to be with her fiancee, Marvin. But Elvis had abandoned his own fiancee, and went on to invite his prospective sister-in-law to a dance. That wasnât respectful to his brother and fiancee at all.
Marvin stared at Elvis for a while. âWhat if I say no?â Marvin questioned.
Elvis narrowed his eyes for a moment. Then, he focused his gaze on Oliveâs face and slowly, he stretched out his right palm towards her, âOlive, come over here!â He beckoned.
Olive frowned. She wondered what was wrong with him.
Seeing that Olive didnât move, Elvis put his hand over to her.
