I Love You More, Cade by Coral Hume ( Nydia and Jackson)
Chapter 33
The club owner implored, âMr. Jackson, Iâm truly sorry if any of my staff offended you.â His forehead was beaded with a
cold sweat.
Cade leaned back slothfully and raised his chin to point at Lewis on stage, asking, âDid my wife order him?â His voice was plain, not revealing a hint of his emotion.
Veronicaâs brow furrowed as she pondered, âWhatâs Cade talking about? Ordering Lewis? Seriously? Lewis is a popular singer, not a sexual service worker. Cade makes everything so weird.â
The club owner was stunned, thinking. âWell. That makes sense. Celebrities are like consumption goods for the wealthy since their job is to entertain the clients. I suppose Cade sees it the same way.â Thus, he responded, âMr. Jackson, yes, your wife ordered him. His name is Lewis Harvey, the most soughtâafter singer at the moment. Mrs. Jackson certainly has a good taste.â
Cade snorted, glancing at the club owner, then spat out two words, âOh, really?â He was smiling, yet his words dripped with Icy sarcasm.
The club ownerâs legs weakened, and he almost kneeled before Cade. He apologized in a trembling voice, âNo, no. I said it wrong. Mr. Jackson, please forgive me.â He thought to himself, âIâm not sure what I said wrong, but apologizing to Cade is always the right move.
âIn that case, Lewis, show me what you got.â Cade maintained his smile and politely said to Lewis on the stage, âContinue.â
Lewis was too shocked to say a word.
Nydia grinned at Lewis and urged, âCome on. Keep singing.â
Cadeâs smile stretched wider. âLewis, it looks like my wife likes you very much. Youâve got something, havenât you?â
The club owner and Lewis began to shiver with fear. They found themselves trapped in a dilemma, frozen on the spot.
Cade added,
âIâm known for recognizing talent. If youâve got something, youâd better show it. Listen up, everyone! Feel free to ask Lewis to sing a song for you. Itâs on me.â He said âcan,â but everyone knew it was a âmust.â With that, he slightly tilted his head to glance at Veronica, ordering. âYouâll be the backup dancer.â
Excitement buzzed through the crowd. Lewisâs face turned pale, and he felt as if he could already sense the strain on his vocal cords. Veronica seethed with rage and gritted her teeth hard.
Observing the club ownerâs stunned expression, Cade asked softly, âAny problems?â
The club owner immediately pulled himself back from the shock and nodded heavily, replying. âNo problem! Iâll get Lewis ready in a minute or so,
Paul witnessed the whole scene from upstairs. He screamed out of excitement and rushed down within minutes.
Before Paul could reach the front, Cade had finished arranging everything. He carried Nydia and stood up slowly. When he spotted Paul, he said, âYou can be the supervisor.â

Paul regretted so much, screaming inside, What was I thinking? I shouldâve stayed upstairs to enjoy the show. Now Iâve landed myself a job! Damn it!â
Cade carried Nydia out of the club. The cold wind and snow chilled Nydiaâs neck, so she instinctively leaned into Cadeâs arms for warmth. Unexpectedly, Cade refused Nydiaâs approach and pushed her onto the passenger seat of his ost
Nydia muttered, âMy knees hurt. My hands hurt.â She frowned as she saw Cade open the door and sit on the driverâs seat, letting in a gust of cold air. Before she could sit well, he stepped on the accelerator and sped off.
Nydia was so shocked that she almost threw up. She glared at Cade in annoyance, asking, âMr. Jackson, could you please
slow down?â
Cade snorted and retorted, âI thought you liked excitement!â His tone turned chilly as he stepped harder on the accelerator
Cadeâs rushing scattered the cars on the road. The drivers tried to curse, but their words died in their throats when they saw the license plate number of that galloping car.
Nydia grabbed tightly on the armrest above her head and cried, âI donât like excitement. Stop the cart Her face turned pale. âI want to throw up.â
Cade ignored Nydia. Instead, he continued to drive recklessly along the road, seemingly intent on making her sick and expelling the alcohol from her stomach.
When Nydia could not take it anymore and was literally on the verge of throwing up, Cade suddenly hit the brake and stopped the car under a streetlight.
Inertia drove Nydia forward. She slammed into the glove compartment and nearly fainted out.
Cade sneered when he saw Nydia sitting in her seat in pain. He gritted his teeth and asked, âNydia, you canât live without a man, can you?â
Nydia retorted inside, There it is again. She had a severe headache, and her stomach twitched. Thus, she got mad and replied, âIâm sure I canât live with you around me.â
Cadeâs expression darkened.
Nydia was inebriated and vented, ignoring Cadeâs growing anger. âEvery day is a struggle ever since I married you. Iâm forced to play the role of Mrs. Jackson and endure your constant threats of kicking me out of the game. People may think I hit the jackpot because I get to marry you, but they have no clue how much I suffer. I never wanted to bear the title of Mrs.
Jackson.â
Nydia pressed on, her words tinged with desperation. âMr. Jackson, canât we just return to how things were? You can be with the woman you love, and Iâll remain an employee at the company. Weâll respect each otherâs boundaries and keep out of each otherâs lives. Wouldnât that be better for both of us?â
Cade thought, âDoes she want us to be strangers? Wonderful! What a remarkable ideat He pressed his tongue against the left side of his mouth, then slowly unfastened his seatbelt.
âYou are also very painful, right? Youâve lived with someone you donât love for five years. Nobody understands that feeling

better than I doâ Nydiaâs sadness deepened, and she sniffled as she continued. âI donât want to take up this position, either.
Then⦠Hmm?â Butlet Can you wait a bit longer? Maybe we can get a divorce one d
Cace stopped Nydia from continuing her speech with a kiss. He planned to throw Nydia out of the car, but she was even more annoying than when she was sober. He had no choice but to stop her that way.
Cadete it wasnt enough to stop Nydia so he bit her lips to vent his anger. Nydia opened her mouth and cried out in pain. Cade took the opportunity and slipped his tongue into Nydiaâs mouth.
The kiss was like a raging rainstorm, washing away Nydiaâs anger and aggression and sweeping away the last piece of her sanity. She became so weak that she did not even have the strength to resist.
The streetlights drew a long shadow of the car
Nydiaâs head
Cadentally intended to punish Nydia with a kiss, but gradually, he sank into the intimacy. He stroked and lowered the chair. With that he pressed her under him. He thought, Wait. Why do I always lose control of myself when Iâm with you? Prustrated by his discovery, Cade behaved more ruthlessly. He raised his hand and was going to tear Nydiaâs
Nydia fet cold and trembled. She turned her head to breathe and questioned with displeasure, âThis is my new dress. Why are you teaning ?
Caceâs mind flashed with images of Nydia and the singer whispering to each other. Instantly, Cadeâs desires faded. He tore Nydeâs surt to shreds without hesitation. âYou like him that much?â His voice was deep and icy.
Nydia was groggy and did not hear it well. She thought Cade was talking about the skirt, so she immediately nodded and answered. âOf course.â
Cade shouted inside. She admitted it without hesitation! The alcohol must have burned her brain!â He stared at Nydia and gradually became distant. Then, he reached out his slender leg and kicked the door open.
Before Nydia could react, she was shoved out of the car. She tumbled several times along the road before she stopped.
It hurt so much that her face turned pale. When she was about to raise her head and curse, she was hit by her jacket and bag thrown by Cade. Then, she heard the piercing sound of tires screeching against the pavement.
Cade watched Nydia coldly from the car window.
Nydia shouted, âCade, youâre crazy!â When she opened her mouth to speak, the chuming in her stomach overwhelmed her. She could not hold it anymore and vomited.
