I Love You More, Cade by Coral Hume ( Nydia and Jackson)
Chapter 60
As if she had seen something horrible, Josephine looked at Nydia with an incredulous look on her face. She thought to herself, âNydia never used to say that I was a perfect match for Cade. She has always held her head high with pride, either walking awayj disdainfully or mocking me. Whatâs wrong with her today? Could it be that she finally gets the right idea and is willing to relinquish her position as Cadeâs wife to me?
She had guessed right this time.
Nydia did want to give up the position of Cadeâs wife to Josephine, and that was why she said such words to give Josephine hope. Nydia hoped that Josephine would live up to her expectations and do a few more unexpected things during this trip to make her have materials.
Alison carried a camera out.
Nydia took it to check it out and asked, âDid you bring enough batteries?â
âYes, donât worry,â Alison answered before greeting Cade respectfully.
Seeing Nydia couldnât even find the on button after she checked the camera again and again, Cade snorted coldly. âWeâre going to a meeting, not making a movie. Why are you bringing it?â
Nydia raised her eyes to meet his mockery and smiled cunningly. âWeâll definitely go out and have fun after the meeting. Iâm sure weâll need to take photos to record. Iâll make videos and post them online. With your influence, they are sure to be a hit. Maybe we can still earn back the airfare money.â
âIs she using Mr. Jackson as a moneyâmaking tool? Everyone else present had this question in their hearts.
âNydia, you donât have to belittle Cade like that, do you?â Josephine defended Cade while watching Cadeâs reaction.
Nydia feigned innocence. âDonât you think Cade is handsome?â
âDoes she mean she thinks Iâm handsome?â With this thought in his mind, Cadeâs original dark face eased slightly, but his tone was still extremely cold. âYou have only
money
in your brain.â
âWow, youâre really something! You can even know this. Youâre right. I have only your money in my brain, Nydja thought to herself.

She smiled and replied, âNah, obviously, I have wisdom in my brain.â
Cade grunted. âYou just know how to talk glibly. Letâs go.â
With that, he turned and walked away, Josephine glared at Nydia before immediately following him.
There were two cars parked outside. Besides Cadeâs RollsâRoyce, there was also a Porsche.
Nydia got into the Porsche without even thinking about it, and Alison followed closely behind in the driverâs seat.
Cadeâs eyes grew cold as he watched Nydiaâs movements.
Josephine called Cade with a smile from inside the RollsâRoyce. âCade, come.â
Unexpectedly, Cade got into the Porsche with a cold face. Josephine wanted to get out of the car to stop him. But when she remembered what Cade said, she had to give up indignantly.
âYouâll start shooting as soon as we get to Mewarting City. Shoot me, Mr. Jackson, and Josephine. Just shoot every scene when we get there,â Nydia ordered Alison.
Alison asked in confusion, âWhy donât I only shoot you and Mr. Jackson? Why do you want me to shoot Josephine?â
Nydia was about to reply to her when Cade sat in. Alison turned her head immediately. and pretended to check the camera.
Nydia looked at Cade in surprise. âWhy did you get in my car?â
âTheyâre all cars owned by my Jackson Group. I can get into whichever one I want,â Cade retorted to her angrily.
Nydia secretly rolled her eyes but put a smile on her face. âThatâs not what I meant. I just donât think itâs good for you to leave Josephine alone in that car. She hasnât been, recovering for long.â
Cade looked at her in disbelief and asked mentally, âIs that something a wife should say? What kind of wife will push her husband to a mistress? She used to throw tantrums and say some unpleasant jealous words when Josephine and I were together. Doesnât she care about it now?â
Cadeâs face was getting darker and darker, anger brewing in his eyes. Nydia could see

his expression change clearly, and she couldnât help but feel a little bit scared. She lowered her head and dared not to look into his eyes anymore.
âItâs so strange. Shouldnât he be happy that Iâm doing this? Isnât sharing a car with the woman one loves something all men dream of? Could it be that heâs angry because he wanted to share a car with me and I pushed him out of the way?â thought Nydia.
She was a little conflicted in her mind. When she went to look at Cade again, she only saw him looking indifferently ahead. His voice was cold. âIf it werenât for your trickery to get Grandpa to pressure me into having to take care of family matters, I wouldnât bother getting in the same car as you.â
Nydia was shocked and her fingers clenched tightly. After a few seconds, she loosened them and smiled indifferently. âWell, it looks like I made the most brilliant move in tricking your grandpa.â
âYou canât be this smug forever,â Cade sneered.
âFair enough.â Nydia sighed softly. When Orson passed away one day, there wouldnât be anyone left to defend her.
She wouldnât wait until that day, though.
She didnât want to spend one more day in the Jackson family, the shithole.
Cade thought she was feeling sad for the day when she couldnât enjoy his wealth, so he sneered, âSo you better pray for my grandpa to have a long life.â
âOf course: I definitely hope he lives long.â Nydia didnât hope like this for the sake of coveting the Jackson familyâs riches. She genuinely wished Orson well because he had always been good to her.
She wondered how Orson would react when it came time for her to file for divorce. He would probably feel betrayed, perhaps more disappointed.
That was the only part of this plan that Nydia felt sorry for. But it would have to do; there was no way she was going to give up her life that way just because Orson was nice.
The atmosphere in the car fell into an eerie silence.
Alison sat in the front in shock as she listened to their conversation. âThe company is more than an hourâs drive from the airport. How am I supposed to make it through this suffocating space? Oh, man. Someone, please help meâ¦
The car door was suddenly opened and Stuart looked at Alison with a smile on his face.

Alison immediately understood and busied herself to get out of the car. She was overwhelmed with gratitude for Stuart.
Sheâd rather go sit with Josephine, that bitch, and get yelled at a few times at the very least, than sit in this car and feel the suffocating sensation of Nydia and Cade arguing.
Stuart got in the driverâs seat respectfully and started the car.
Because of the unpleasant start, Nydia and Cade remained silent all the way. They put as much distance between them as they could. They didnât communicate even though their seats were next to each other when they got on the plane.
Nydia lay back in her seat and slept soundly. She huddled herself up when she felt a little chilly in the middle of the flight. Within seconds. something was suddenly covered over her body and she smelled a light fragrance.
Nydia relaxed her eyebrows. She changed her position and went back to sleep.
After an unknown time, she felt someone shaking her shoulder. Waking up in a daze, Nydia saw Alison.
âMs. Sharp, weâre here,â Alison said, looking excited.
Nydia rubbed her eyes to get up and the blanket on her fell to the floor.
She bent down to pick it up, wondering in her heart, âItâs because the blanket is thin that I woke up from the cold halfway through my sleep, and then someone covered me with something else to make me feel warmer. Why is there only this blanket left now? Could it be that Cade covered me with something? No way!â
Nydia dismissed her horrible and ridiculous thought almost immediately. âHow could Cade possibly care about me? He would only taunt and insult me endlessly!â
âWhere is Mr. Jackson?â she asked Alison.
âHe and Josephine got off the plane already,â Alison replied.
âHe didnât wake me up when the plane arrived, but couldnât wait to leave with Josephine first. Nydia curved her lips in selfâdeprecation. She now thought her previous idea was indeed quite delusional.
âLetâs go.â Nydia stood up calmly. She packed her things and walked out.
It was a warm January day in Mewarting City, and even the wind by the seaside was
warm.

The meeting organizerâs car was already waiting outside, and the good show was about The meeting to begin.
Changing her previous attitude, Nydia took the initiative to hold Cadeâs arm and greeted people sent by the organizer with a smile.
Josephine was standing with Cade, but now she was pushed to the side.
Cade frowned and glanced at Nydia, who whispered, âMr. Jackson, just hold back for a while. Iâm just doing what your wife should be doing.â
