Chapter 83

Nydia drove to the Jackson Mansion.

Their divorce was so sudden that Orson still did not know about it. When she arrived, Maren was playing with her pet cat on the lawn while Lacic was drinking coffee.

When the two of them saw Nydia, they were stunned. Then, they looked at her in disgust. Maren glared at her. “You’re not welcome here, you murderer. Get out!”

Lacie echoed, “You’ve got some guts to come back. Our family’s reputation has been ruined by you. If you have a conscience, divorce Cade as soon as possible.”

“She doesn’t have a conscience. If she does, she wouldn’t have killed Josephine. Josephine is kind and beautiful. She treats her elders very well. Now, she’s separated from us forever.”

Maren even wiped her tears as she spoke.

Seeing this, Lacie also pretended to be sad. “That’s right. Poor Josephine. It’s so unfair. How can a murderer get away with it?”

The two of them kept talking, not caring about the outcome of the legal ruling at all. It was as if they wanted to send Nydia to Hell.

Nydia sneered at their lousy acting skills. If it were in the past, she might have chosen to endure their humiliation. But now that she was already divorced, she didn’t have to submit to them anymore.

Maren and Lacie looked up.

Nydia looked at them with a smile and clapped her hands. “You two look so sad. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought that it was your daughter who died. Nydia crossed her arms and looked at Lacie, who suddenly had an ominous feeling.

Lacie was shocked and raised her voice. “My husband? My husband treats me very well.”

“Yeah, but he treats his two mistresses well, too.”

When the servants hiding in the corner heard this, they immediately walked forward.
