Lu Jinnan had no choice—he had to go to the supermarket to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. The moment he opened the door… he heard someone call out for him.

There was disbelief and hesitation in that slightly shaky female voice.

Lu Jinnan turned back to see a woman staring at him in disbelief. Her makeup was impeccable, and her nails were painted a nude color. She raised a slender, imperceptibly trembling hand to cover her mouth as tears rolled down her cheeks.

The woman wore a red dress, high heels, and a black woolen coat. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders. She was tall and slim and looked sophisticated and beautiful. It was as if she had walked out of a painting.
