“How long is a while?”

Yun Liuli perfectly acted out the curious manner of a child.

Gu Qingcheng stared at the young lady’s large and watery eyes and replied, “Perhaps an hour more. If you’re tired, you can sleep first!”

Hearing this, the young lady sat up straight and wrapped herself with a blanket, revealing a hand as she started playing Tetris on her phone. “Then, I’ll wait for Uncle Qingcheng and sleep together!”

Seeing the way Yun Liuli was addicted to her phone, Gu Qingcheng frowned. He recalled Auntie Li’s reminders that Yun Liuli would hurt her eyes by playing with her phone too much, so he said, “Stop playing with your phone. It’s already so late, quickly sleep!”

“I’m working, while you’re playing a game. Is that the same?”

Gu Qingcheng never realized that Yun Liuli had such a sharp tongue.

Gu Qingcheng closed his laptop and got up, turning off the lamp. “Sleep!”

Seeing Gu Qingcheng walk towards the bed, Yun Liuli quickly locked her phone screen, then sweetly shifted inwards and lifted the blankets. She patted on the mattress and said, “Uncle Qingcheng, come over quickly! I’m tired already!”

Gu Qingcheng sighed and got into the bed. Just like last night, he slept as close to the side as he could.

In the faint moonlight coming in through the curtains, Gu Qingcheng gazed at Yun Liuli as she slept. Gu Qingcheng’s brow twitched. Before he could say anything, the young lady held Gu Qingcheng’s large hand and placed it upon her heart.

Gu Qingcheng froze. He wanted to retract his hand, but he couldn’t summon the energy.

The young lady placed her petite hand over the back of his hand and cried out in a squeamish manner, “Uncle Qingcheng… hurts!”

It was the right side, not the left. That meant it wasn’t the heart!

Gu Qingcheng quickly got up and turned on the lights. Yun Liuli gazed at Gu Qingcheng tearfully. “Uncle Qingcheng, help me take a look…”

Gu Qingcheng quickly fled the scene after saying that.

When Auntie Li came down, she saw Yun Liuli sleeping in Gu Qingcheng’s room. Looking at the pillows… it seemed like the two of them had slept in the same bed. Auntie Li’s heart couldn’t help but pound.
