Chapter 805 - What the Hell Was This?

Lu Jinnan looked in front as he tried to figure out where the sound was coming from. Eventually, he saw Lin Nuan sitting on a bench to the right. She had a coat draped over her shoulders, and her left arm, which was weakly hanging in front of her chest, was wrapped in white gauze. The bloodstains on her dusty pink blouse were frightening.

Lu Jinnan quickly walked towards Lin Nuan. His handsome features tensed up, and he tightly gripped the handles of the paper bag with the clothes in it.

She raised her head and saw anger in Lu Jinnan’s eyes as he stood in front of her. She glanced at the bag in his hand and asked, “Is that for me?”

He glanced around and saw no sign of You Nainai, so he asked, “Where’s You Nainai?”

Lin Nuan pointed behind Lu Jinnan. You Nainai walked over from the water cooler with a disposable cup in her hand.

Lu Jinnan looked at Lin Nuan’s pale face and tried to speak as calmly as possible. “I’m not blaming you! I know you love Old Fu very much. “I saw the news. Your Mr. Fu is on a business trip to Dubai? Why didn’t you go along with him?” Song Yao asked.

Bai Xiaonian had heard Lu Jinnan talk about what happened to Lin Nuan and Fu Huai’an in Dubai. She didn’t want Lin Nuan to recall bad memories, so she poured a glass of water for her as she tried to change the subject. “My leg has only just healed, Song Yao just had an operation on her head, and now your arm is stitched up. It’s like we’re going through hardship together! You two are really my best friends!”

Song Yao rolled her eyes at Bai Xiaonian and tried to hold back her laughter as she said, “Who wants to go through hardship with you…”

The phone rang before Bai Xiaonian could respond. She frowned as she glanced at the phone. “It’s my dad. I’ll take the call outside!”

Bai Xiaonian answered the call and walked out of the VIP ward.

You Nainai had been standing guard at the door the whole time, leaving only Song Yao and Lin Nuan in the room.
