Peng Yanzhi looked at Lin Nuan and smirked. She took the documents from Lin Nuan with her long and slender fingers that had a French manicure done. She looked at the markings that Lin Nuan had written on the documents and casually tossed them to the side. “My manager should already have told you what questions you should ask and what you shouldn’t! You don’t know? I’m not a tactful person. With you scribbling so much on these questions, who knows if any questions will go around in circles with a trap laid out for me?”

Peng Yanzhi’s action of not even looking at the documents she took from Lin Nuan before she tossed them aside made the production crew feel that something was amiss. Some of them had stopped their work and looked over…

The director ran over to ask Lin Nuan and Peng Yanzhi what the situation was. Miss Xia was caught in a traffic jam and hadn’t arrived yet. The director wasn’t sure how to handle a situation where the guest and the host were in a confrontation.

“Can we start filming?” the director asked.

“I can start anytime. It all depends on Sister Nuan!” Peng Yanzhi smiled sweetly toward the director.

The buck-passing caught Lin Nuan off guard.

Lin Nuan looked at the innocent-looking Peng Yanzhi, giving her approval toward Peng Yanzhi’s acting.

“I can start anytime as well. It depends on when Miss Peng finishes going through the questions with me!” Lin Nuan said slowly.

“Sister Nuan, I already said that my manager sent you the things to take note of. The recording is going to start soon. We don’t have the time to look through the densely-packed stuff that you wrote!” Peng Yanzhi opened her eyes wide as she looked at Lin Nuan, appearing as if she was a pitiful person being bullied.

“I’m sticking to the stance that the two of us are the ones going through with the recording. The messages won’t be able to get across with your manager being the one to pass them on. Therefore, we’ll still need to go through a rundown of the questions! This concerns the show’s quality!”

“Then, are we going to let the entire production crew wait over this? Sister Nuan… is this suitable?” Peng Yanzhi said weakly.

“Then why did Miss Peng only come out now when you knew that we needed to run through the questions 20 minutes before the recording?” Lin Nuan retorted without standing on ceremony.

Peng Yanzhi raised her hand to her chest, looking at Lin Nuan in disbelief and wearing an aggrieved expression. “Sister Nuan… I can understand that you’re angry that I came out late. But isn’t it going overboard to implicate the entire production crew because of me?”

I only agreed to let you appear on the show on account of your manager, and I made it very clear that if you wanted to appear on my show, then you’d have to follow my rules! Why are you putting on airs here?”

Peng Yanzhi’s countenance was unbelievably grim. She hadn’t expected that Miss Xia would be so merciless with her words…
