Chapter 22: Company Party

Hayley's POV

Once we got to the office, our assistant came to greet us.

"good morning Mr and Ms Bloodfallen." she said.

I took off my shades and looked at her.

"I already told you Isabelle, call us Austin and Hayley." I reminded her.

"oh. I'm sorry, I forgot. I'm sorry Ms blo- I mean Hayley." she said.

I looked at her playfully then giggled while shaking my head.

"So any updates?" I asked her.

"no. Everything is running smoothly. All you need to do is sign these papers. Also there is a ball. All the CEO's of their company will be attending. You and Austin will be the guests of honor." Isabelle updated me.

I nodded at her.

"thank you Isabelle. You may have the rest of the day off. You've been working a lot. So thank you. Now go take the rest of the day off." I said to her.

She nodded her head and smiled before she left. I signed the rest of the paper work and proceed to put the last paper away that I signed before mindlinking Austin.

'Austin, where are you?' I asked

'I'm downstairs. Come on down. I'm waiting for you at the entrance.' he replied.

I cut the mink link before heading towards the elevator and putting my shades back on. It took awhile to get down until I walked towards Austin who was sitting on one of the couches surrounded by all these women.

He had his shades on while looking down on his phone. I walked up to him and heard the girls hushing as I walked up to him. I tapped him on the shoulder and looked at me. He got up and before we could move, Alfred came towards us.

He stopped next to us.

"Mr and Ms Bloodfallen, your keys." he said while handing them to Austin.

I smiled at him.

"Thank you Alfred." I said looking at my watch.

Huh? What is he doing here? I thought he was on holiday? I looked at Alfred.

"Alfred, you shouldn't be here. I gave you a holiday to spend it with your family. So, go enjoy yourself." I said to him while smiling.

"thank you Ms Bloodfallen." he said while smiling at me.

I just nodded my head while looking at him. I turned to Austin and we headed back to the car. We hopped in and drove off back home.

We got home around 4pm. The party starts at 7pm. I got three hours to get ready.

" Austin, the party starts at 7pm. Remember to wait for me at the front please." I said.

He nodded his head and walked towards his mate. I went up to my room and began to get ready. I went for a bath in my lavender and vanilla scented body wash, and my coconut and aloe Vera shampoo and conditioner. I got out and dried myself.

I walked to my walk in closet with my towel wrapped around me. I got a strapless bra and some matching underwear. I looked at the time, two and a half hours to get ready.

I put on my undergarments and started doing my hair and makeup.

I looked at the time. Just in time. It's 7pm and I headed downstairs to see Austin.

He looked at me before doing an approved look. I rolled my eyes. Older Brothers. I put on the last bit of clothing on, which were my arm length white gloves before I took his hand and waved Sofia, Sky and Jared bye. We walked out to see our driver.

I hopped into the limo with Austin behind me. We sat down and went off to this party. Apparently we always have this party every two years to greet other CEO's and Austin and I are always the guest of honor.

Why? Because we own the biggest company and Austin is 19 and I'm 18. We're young to take over the company I know. But the other CEO's of other companies are only like 3 years older. Maybe more. Some are the same age as us.

After an hour of driving, we were finally here. Cameras flashing and people waving and smiling. We came to a hault at the main entrance. Austin got out first, fixing his tie and gave me his hand to take. I took it and got out of the door.

Once I was out of the car, I smiled. I held his hand as we walked inside the event. There was a live band playing and people talking to one another. There was this huge curtain separating us from the people in the event. There was an announcer. Austin whispered in the announcers ear. The announcer nodded and spoke.

"Our guests of honor, Hayley Bloodfallen and Austin Bloodfallen of the Bloodfallen industries." He announced.

The curtain opened to reveal us and we walked in. We had everyone's attention. Great. We walked towards everyone and everyone went back to what they were talking about. We were approached by a man in his late 40s. He was a wolf, basically everyone else here was human, we were the only wolves here.

The man in his late 40s was well dressed. He wore a black suit with a white tie and his hair back. He had icey blue eyes and fair skin. He smiled at Austin and I.

"Hello. I'm Dave Murcury of the Murcury industry. Its a pleasure to meet you both." He greeted.

I smiled at him as well as Austin.

"Hello Mr Mercury. I am Austin Bloodfallen and this is my sister, Hayley Bloodfallen of the Bloodfallen industries." Austin greeted him back.

"please, call me Dave. Mr Murcury makes me feel old." he said jokingly.

I smiled even more and nodded. He looked over at someone and nodded his head, as if to tell that person to come over.

"please let me introduce my Sons." he said.

I looked at his sons. My smiled faded as I looked at them. It was them. The male wolves from Starbucks. I thought I smelt something familiar.

"this is my youngest son Jeremy." Dave introduced.

Jeremy was the one staring at Sky's ass. He wore a maroon suit with a white shirt. His hair was back and he had tan skin like his brothers. They all had tan skin, one had drown eyes while the others had blue, and their hair neatly done.

"this is my second eldest Jayden" Dave introduced.

Jayden was the one who grabbed my ass. He wore a white suit. His hair nicely pulled back. He stared at me and Austin.

"and finally my oldest son Hayden"

Hayden. Hayden was the one who held onto me and started trouble with Austin. He wore a Navy blue suit with a white top and black tie. He stared at me as if remembering something.

Never the less, I smiled again, as if acknowledging them. I glanced at Austin and he gave them a death glare. But he finally smiled at them.

"I'm Austin. Austin Bloodfallen." He introduced while smirking.

I saw their faces pale a little.

"I'm Hayley. Hayley Bloodfallen." I introduced myself while smirking.

They paled even more. I turned to Dave, he looked confused as if he were trying to figure out something.

"Um? Do you know each other?" Dave asked confused.

"Yes. We ran into each other briefly at strabucks. And let's say it caused a little scene when we first met." Austin replied to Dave.

Daved nodded. We talked business for a while before Dave said something that caught me off guard.

"Hayden, why don't you ask Hayley for a dance?" he said to Hayden.

Oh shit.

'Shit, Austin. What do I do?' I asked him.

'just dance with him for a while before the organiser calls us OK. Just don't do anything bad ass Hayley would do.' he replied.

I giggled in the mind link before closing it.

Hayden nodded before looking at me.

"Hayley, would you do me the honors of taking you for a dance?" he asked with a slight smirk. His hand out

I smiled at him politely taking his hand.

"I would be delighted to dance with you Hayden." I replied.

He lead me to the dance floor. The music changed into a slow dance. He grabbed my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. We were close to each other as we danced. He cracked terrible jokes and I couldn't help but giggle at them.

" no really. He stuck his head in the engine and when I turned it on, he looked at me with black dust on his face." he said chuckling.

I giggled.

"oh my gosh." I giggled more.

I stared at his eyes while smiling. He looked serious and he sighed.

"Look, Hayley I'm sorry what happened the other day. I really am so-" I cut him off.

"no need. Its OK. But who you really got to apologise to is my brother Austin. He doesn't easily get pissed, but you managed to get him pissed with me in your arms." I told him.

He sighed.

"I'm sorry, it's just when I smelt you, your scent was intoxicating. I couldn't get enough of it. You smelt like Vanilla and lavender. And when I held you, I had this urge to protect you, that's why I didn't let you go." he said honestly. I was shocked. I guess I blocked out my wolf that she was trying to tell me something.

I let her in. I smelt the air, I smelt him. His scent hit me full force. He smelt like fresh rain and woodsy. It was intoxicating. I haven't even touched him with skin to skin. I let go of him and let me wolf guide me.

I pulled one of my gloves off, he put his hand out for me to take. I hesitated before taking it. When I felt his hand, electricity came through me in waves of pleasure.

This felt stronger with Hayden, then with Eric. I looked up at his shocked. He looked at me shocked to before saying the same word.

"Mate."
