AU One-Shot!

Okay, before you guys start I just want to make this clear! This is an AU (Alternative Universe)! Anything stated in this story is not canon unless I decided it is! I also like to think all my stories take place in the same universe, past or future! This also won't make that much sense unless you have read my other book, There's a Wolf at My Door. You could just skip it but you won't know most of the references.

Henry

I sighed in relief as I placed my small suitcase down and relaxed my arms. I didn't notice how sore they were until now. Clarke, Rita and Jared all joined me in the lobby, taking in the nice interior. Rustic and red. "Where's Al and Lu?" Rita asked. I pushed my sunglasses off my face and onto my head. "He's checking out the room with Lu," I sighed. They all wiggled their eyebrows making me gag.

"It's not like that. We're... figuring things out." I explained. "Sure, sure." Jared mumbled, pushing past us and heading straight for the elevator. I looked around, seeing people of all shapes, sizes and colours. When they told my it was a hotel for supernatruals I just shrugged. I didn't think too much of it, but this.. this wasn't what I was expecting. I wasn't sure what I expected to be honest.

I hurried to Jared's side and entered the elevator which was already occupied. Five other guys were standing in the elevator. The middle one was the smallest, roughly my height with unusual white hair and big green sparkly eyes. He tucked a tuff of stray hair behind his surprisingly pointy ears with an irritated look. The other two were way taller and bulkier. The one on the left had shocking firey orange hair with dark skin and was rambling in about something. He seemed super pissed. The one on the right had pretty ruby eyes and a mischievous look.

"You used it all up!" The orange-haired one gritted out, not even acknowledging us. The one with the mischievous look bumped into me, not even giving us a second glance. "Rude.." I muttered, watching as their presence alone seemed to gather a crowd. I hopped in the elevator, eager to drop off myself and hit the pools. Jared, Rita and Clarke all seemed astonished with their mouths hanging open.

"What?" I questioned. "Do you not know who they were?!" Clarke gasped, walking up to me and gripping my shoulders and giving me a shake. "No?" Jared and Rita walked in too, but didn't say a word. What was up with them? I quickly pressed the button for the fifth floor. "Of course you don't!"

I stared at her then slowly nodded. It was taking everything within me not to laugh at the shocked look on his face. I chuckled when Clarke groaned. It was pretty silent on the way up as what just happened settled in for them. Maybe I should be more excited or shocked.

There was a ding and more people showed up. A bunch of supernaturals showed up. A man with dark blue skin and large tusks with a smaller guy with a large scar running down from his ear to his neck, another with light orange skin and a guy with a snakes tail. I turned to see the reactions of the others but they had gotten all over their shock and had passive faces. Right. This was normal, everyday people to them.

"Huh, that's surprising," Jared sighed, as we all stepped out of the elevator and away from the laughing group. "Huh? What is?" Clarke asked. I was more than surprised. "Didn't you see? There was an Orc and A Djinn. Their species aren't exactly known for their good traits.."

Rita tsk'd. "Don't be so insensitive, Jar. We're in Miradel! This region is known for being the most accepting of any species!" She explained. To think the supernatural realm was so close to mine but I never knew about it. Clarke and Jared stopped at a door marked 517 and claimed that it their stop. Weird. I don't remember them saying anything about sharing a room. Rita was sharing with me, Lu and Alan because we couldn't exactly afford for three room.

I grabbed my keycard when I got to our room, 519. I pressed it up to the bad and got a beep but it didn't budge. I tried several more times, knocking on the door but no one answered. "I thought you said Alan and Lu were in there!" Rita groaned. I narrowed my brows and hit my forehead against the door. "They are! They must be sleeping!" I sighed, going to knock once more when a someone to my side tapped my shoulder. I turned, facing a guy slightly taller than me. He had dirty blonde hair a warm hazel eyes with an equally warm smile.

I could tell that he worked here by the white shirt and red collar. Plus, he was wearing a badge that read, Florence. He was tugging along a cleaning cart with another board male, leaning on the cart and drumming his painted nails on the cap of a bottle of bleach. "Stuck outside?" He asked with that sweet worker voice. "Y-Yeah.." I mumbled, a little embarrassed. "Here," he held a blank card up to my face then pressed it up to the pad. I could hear the faint mechanical lock buzz then the door popped open.

"Thank you!" Rita exclaimed, barreling into the room without a second glance. I thanked him as well. "No problem!" He shook his head as he left, his friend standing by as he pushed the cart down the hall. I entered the dark room, the sweet smell of lemon overpowering my senses. The curtains were closed so I couldn't get a great view but what I did notice was the two sleeping bodies on the large bed. "Oi!" Rita snapped and Alan jumped awake. Lu slowly got up and rubbed his eyes. "You idiots! We were stuck outside!" Rita scolded. Alan yawned and profusely apologized while I got my bathers. "Get up, boys. We're going to the beach."

Ferris

"You used it all up!" Fraener seethed, still pissed about his conditioner being used. "You bumped into that guy." I scolded, but Zaelyn brushed it off. Speaking of which, Zaelyn had accidentally used it all, thinking it was supplied by the hotel which we were at for a meeting. The meeting happened ages ago and now we were relaxing. "I thought it was the hotel's! You can just buy more.." Zaelyn brushed off. This, of course, started another one of Fraener's ramblings. I've never seen someone so irritated over hair product. Now I was getting ticked off.

We headed straight for the beach, with Ryker and the gang meeting us soon. They continued their bickering until we stepped outside and onto the sand. The boiling hot, sand. Me and Zaelyn both jumped back on the deck but because of Fraener's 'super mighty heat resistance' thanks to his dragon he was unbothered. "Fuck! That shits boiling hot!" Zaelyn screeched. I whined then held my foot up. "It's just a little heat!" Fraener protested.

I gave him a dirty look. "It is not just a little heat! It's hell-fire!" I argued. How dare he call it a 'little heat'! We were stuck on the porch until Fraener cleared his throat. "I could carry you guys?" He offered. Me and Zaelyn shared looks. "You wanna carry both of us?" Zaelyn asked incredulously. "Ferris is like a feather,"

I punched him lightly in the shoulder. "But I'm pure muscle baby!" Me and Fraener both scoffed. "Zaelyn just get on my shoulders. I can carry Ferris," Fraener said, turning around.

I looked back, noticing the same couple group of people we saw at the elevator. The three who oggled at us noticed us again and began whispering. The other guy who didn't seem to notice us was standing between two other men. One was paler than me, with dark crimson hair and the other was super bulky, with steely gray eyes.

I let Fraener carry me once Zaelyn climbed onto his back. I couldn't help but snicker as Fraener struggled to find his balance. "If you drop me I'm not sucking your dick when we get back to our room!" Zaelyn screeched. I covered my mouth and muffled my laughter. I spotted the same guy with nice mocha skin clinging to the guy with gray eyes.

It wasn't too long before he set us down on the wet sand. To my surprise he approached me. "You and your partners looked pretty funny. Thanks for the idea though!" He beamed. I was slightly taken aback. I've never been approached by someone like this before, but I have to admit I liked it. His friends, however, looked mortified. "Your welcome!"

I looked over to my shoulder, noticing Zaelyn now in the water and Fraener by my side who had a curious stare. A feisty looking female grabbed his arm and tugged him back. She and the others looked like they were scolding him. From their auras I could tell he was the only human in the group. He turned back to me, then gasped. "Are you guys really royalty?" He asked, his big amber eyes full of wonder. Fraener quietly snorted and poked my back. "Yes, I am. But don't tell the others on the deck that. They haven't seemed to notice yet," I said in a hushed tone.

"My friends want to meet you, if that's okay?" He asked. I nodded and he pushed a three others forward. "It's a pleasure to meet you," Fraener spoke up. They looked at eachother for answers but then the blonde boy spoke first. "I'm Clarke, this is Rita and Jared. We just want to say how much we appreciate what your Father did for the Lunar Moon Pack!" He exclaimed.

I nodded with a smile. "They deserved their land back." I hummed. They all nodded in agreement. "Hey! Get your asses in here!" Zaelyn called from the water. The others stared at the Incubus floating around in the water. "We'll see you guys later," Fraener urged, wrapping his hands around my waist and running into the water.

We fell into an explosion of bubbles and cold water. The salt water felt nice against my skin and Fraener's warm chest was enough to not get goosebumps. "Finally!" Zae exclaimed. He brushed my wet hair away from my face and leaned in, kissing me on the lips. The saltiness of  the water somehow made it more sweet. "Don't suck him dry." Frae warned. We broke the kiss, allowing me to turn around and indulge myself in another one with Fraener. He smiled and I felt pride and happiness pool into my chest.

We played around for about half an hour and the gang joined us until I decided to get out. Frae and Zae wanted to stay in for awhile so I stayed on the beach for awhile. I spotted the guy, holding hands with the two other men I was somewhat curious as he let go and swam back towards me. He sat down next to me, again, surprising me. "I forgot to mention that my name's Henry. I know your's since Rita and all that won't shut up about you guys.."

I have him a sideways glance. "You don't seem to know that much about the supernatrual world. Were your eyes just opened?" I asked. He nodded. The conversation stopped for awhile as we both looked at our different friend groups playing around. "I noticed you were kissing Zaelyn and Fraener. N-Not that I was staring. I just want to know what it's like being in a three-person couple or whatever you call it.." he stammered. I bit my lip. Should I really tell a stranger about us? He seemed like a nice person but he was still just a stranger.

Ah, fuck it.

"Well, we're not supposed to be together.." I sighed. His eyebrows rose. "Strict traditions. But none of us could stop ourselves. Being in a poly relationship is just like being in a 'normal' relationship. I love both of them." I said in one go. He nodded, twisting his fingers and pulling on them until there was a pop. "I noticed that you were holding hands with those two strapping men," I teased. He blushed, a small faint pink hue forming on his dark cheeks. "A-Alan and Lu? I- uhh.. yeah. It's complicated." He stammered.

We spent the rest of that afternoon talking like we weren't strangers. It was.. strange. But fun. By the time we were done and our friends came out of the water the sun had dropped and people began returning to their hotel rooms. Fraener and Zaelyn came up to me, giving me big wet hugs. "It was nice meeting you!" Henry called as he was ushered by his friends. "You too!" I called back. We still had a few days left of our trip so maybe we'll see eachother again. "I'll see you at the breakfast buffet!" He exclaimed before disappearing inside.

I guess that confirmed it.

I hope you guys enjoyed the one-shot! I wanted to make it extra long for you all! I plan on doing something for Lucian and Zuda's backstory since I missed out on these few rewards!
