chapter 8

I had been smiling like a fool at the events that happened. He chose to come spend the night with me rather than mingle with the people at the square. That was a sweet gesture. I loved how he "took care" of me.

My heart was overwhelmed. My body felt alive and I did a happy dance internally. He cared, he cared so much and that was enough.

"You seem happy and glowing." My mother's voice interrupted my thoughts.

" Is it a boy or man, who got you happy?" She questioned gently.

"Mom, stop " I blushed really hard and lacked words to say.

"Whenever you are ready you can share it with me."

I nodded as I knew that she was my mom and that this is something I will come to share with her  eventually.

"Knock knock"... I looked up to see to see Mary smiling at me weirdly.

Here we go.

" I need details girl, deets... So start talking."

Soooo....

Thirty minutes later and Mary could not stop screaming. I almost thought that she was having some sort of breathing difficulties because of the look that she had on her face, only for her to let a terrible scream that forces my parents to come to check on her.

"We are good." At least that was what my parents believed after finding myself thrown over Mary's body trying to cover her mouth with no vain.

He is your guy.

"We should go out today...just to celebrate this and probably just find me someone to sleep with coz my hormones are all over the place and I need to get laid". Mary finished the statement.

I chuckled at her words..." But don't you think that there's nothing for me to celebrate considering it was just a small act of intimacy and not the whole thing of me losing my v card I mean... " I was cut short by my all know it all best friend.

" Non sense... You may still be a virgin but not for long and this James guy is the going to do the deed soon so let's have fun before a new linah is reborn" Mary sang.

I must be crazy to have her as a friend.

It was not hard to convince my parents to let me go and allow me spend the time with my friend so two hours later we were at a bar and restaurant "ignite".

We needed to eat before putting any drinks in our system.

"I will have the rice and salad, actually make it two" Mary spoke may I add seductively to the waiter.

I only nodded in agreement to the order and watched as the two flirt with each other.

"Wow" I said to Mary.

"What he is cute," Mary replied.

"Totally my type" Mary and I said together. I knew her all too well.

This was going to be some night. Little did I know.
