junior year, and i have gym with you,

luckily i had a friend this time, so i wasn't completely alone

we chose badminton, as our final activity for the year,

and there was this senior, who was shy, and wore pink framed glasses

on anyone else, i would have thought they were tacky, but on kou,

it looked cute.

kou barely talked, and somehow, i found that trait extremely attractive

i wanted to play against kou,

but instead, my team played against you.

but my friend was absent, so i was alone, and the teacher made you join my team

you played dirty, hitting the birdie fast, and close to the net,

but essentially, my team got the point

my friend came back, and we versed a boy who i had known all my life

he knew who i was, and teased me whenever we did verse each other

he's a nice person, and we have good interactions

but he's not you.

my friend even thought that he liked me, but he has a girlfriend,

and i only saw him as a friend

i wanted to become friends with kou,

but he graduated, and he never looked my way

i wish i could just forget you already.
