Chapter 219
The Millionaire And His Billionaire Ex-Wife
Chapter 219
Loganâs family of three panicked at the same time.
âEthan. Iâm your younger brother. Iâve respected and followed our rules for decades, but you canât be so cruel as to drive my family out!â
The three of them threw themselves at Ethanâs feet at the same time.
With his younger brother on one side and his daughter on the other, Ethan could only look at Grace solemnly.
âMy child, how do you think they should be punished?â
Grace almost didnât even think about it. âAccording to the rules, what should I do?â
Monica quickly stood up and glared at her, âGrace Smith! You are too cruel! Didnât you make it out unscathed? So why are you so cold-blooded to your relatives!
Graceâs expression turned cold almost instantly.
The reason why she was unscathed now was because someone else had endured the pain for her.
They hurt him even more!
When she looked at Monica, the coliness in her eyes was almost freezing to the core. âIf I was caught mutilating my blood relatives today, would you let me go?â
Monica and Lincoln were stunned at the same time. They looked at each other and answered in unison, âOf course.â
Monica added, âYou are the precious daughter of the Smith family. How could we really be willing to hurt you?
âIf thatâs the case, then you guys wouldnât make a fuss about the wound on Uncleâs face. Donât you feel sick when you say these things against your heart?â
Grace was not interested in staying any longer and looked at Ethan cautiously, âDad, you can handle this matter. I have no objection.â
With that, she left the hall
The sounds of begging for mercy continued from behind.
She returned to the room she had cleaned up and stayed there as her mood didnât change for quite some time.
The sight of the bl oody burns on Edgarâs back flashed through her memories so vividly as if was in front of her.
She only hated that these people were her relatives. She couldnât even kill them! Let them live in pain and wished they were dead instead. This would be their atonement!
She took a deep breath.
Then she thought about earlier when she went to the Grant familyâs house and how she had spoken so badly about Edgar just to try and disgust Eder.
She folded her palms and murmured sincerely as if in prayer, âEd, Iâm sorry for using your name in such a way today. I just really had to get Eder to break off the marriage.â
âIâll return to you after I catch all of those who were plotting against me. After that, Iâll remain single and just watch over you for the rest of my life, okay?â
By the time she finished her rites, she realized that the ser vant had already called her for dinner

twice.
She slowly went downstairs and sat on the dining chair with a cold expression.
Just as she picked up the spoon and was about to take a sip of the sweet soup from the bowl, Lianne frowned.
âHey, youâre really a spoiled little princess in our family that even your elders have to wait for you to eat.
Have you forgotten about all of your upbringings in the past few years?
Ethan coughed, âStop talking.â
Lianne snorted and rolled her eyes.
Grace was not used to it either and threw the spoon back with a thud.
âLianne, how did you manage to get into my fatherâs bed in the first place? Did you forget so quickly that you feel entitled to talk to me about something youâre not even a part of?â
âEnough! Stop talking and cat!â Ethan interjected sternly.
Grace looked at him. âYou heard me answer a while ago that Iâm coming down. She provoked me first.
If you canât keep her stinky mouth shut, Iâm afraid I wonât be able to stay.â
She got up and went upstairs.
Ethan softened his tone, âDonât be angry, Grace! Eat your food first, okay? Dad will try his best to handle these matters, so donât think about going out!â
Hearing his reassurance made Grace a little hesitant.
However, she saw Lianne staring at Ethan and saying. Tâll tell you what! Youâre spoiling her too much!
Sheâs so unruly and sheâs still holding the past against me. How canât you be upset about this too?â
Grace really couldnât understand Lianneâs victim like attitude despite not being the victim at all.
However, even if she wanted to leave, she couldnât actually do it.
Instead, she called her bodyguards into the dining room and pointed at Lianne with her gaze. âMr Smith is upset. I guess she lost her appetite. You guys help her go upstairs to rest.â
âGrace! How dare you!â Lianne slapped the table.
âWhy wouldnât I dare?â
Lianne met her fierce gaze and was defeated. She could only turn her head to look at Ethan and cry.
âHoney, say something. Are you just going to watch your daughter act like this toward me? Fine, I donât care! But you will only choose one between us who you want to eat dinner with!â
Ethan was caught in the middle.
Grace sighed when she caught sight of the obvious discomfort on his age-worn face.
Sheâd been gone for a few years and her father had become much older. She didnât want to trouble her father, but it was really difficult for her to live in harmony with Lianne.
âForget it. I donât want to eat.â
She stood up and straightened her dress. She turned her head and left, but instead of going upstairs, she went out to the villa.
âGrace, dear, where are you going? Itâs already late!â
Ethan shouted from behind her.

As if she could not hear him, she left the villa without looking back.
Ethan felt very guilty when his precious daughter was angry.
Lianne disagreed. âSheâs already an adult. Nothing will happen to her. Stop trying to spoil her further and eat instead.â
âYou! What do you even want me to say about you!â
Ethan was also angry and had lost his appetite. He didnât even have the strength to scold her further so he simply went upstairs after a few more bites.
Lianne didnât care. She wasnât full yet so she continued eating.
Besides, since it was Graceâs first day home, Ithan had ordered the chef to cook ten more delicious dishes tonight.
It was rare for Lianne to win against Grace. She was quite proud of herself that she tasted every dish prepared for that brat.
Tonight, Grace was in an extremely bad mood. She didnât want to return and embarrass her father further with her constant disagreement with Lianne.
She simply took two bodyguards along, went Honey Bar, and booked a private room to drink.
Among the few bodyguards, only Eleven could control Graceâs alcohol intake but he was currently doing something for Patric.
At this moment, the two of them were guarding the door. They were worried that she would get carried away and get wasted again.
While they were discussing whether to call Eleven over or not, Adrain happened to pass by.
He had seen one of them, Seventeen before and somewhat knew him. âIs Grace in there?â
The two of them looked at each other and did not answer.
Adrain wasnât embarrassed. He quietly opened the door and took a quick peek. Grace was alone.
âItâs not good for the health to drink so much. Iâll go in and persuade her.â
The two of them didnât know any better way. They thought that Adrain was at least a friend of their young miss. And if he could help them, then they would not stop him.
Adrain opened the door further and went in. He sat down beside Grace and gently advised, âGrace, stop drinking, okay? Youâre already drunk.â
Grace squinted her misty eyes. She felt rather dizzy. It seemed she was indeed drunk.
âEd, I missed you. Donât leave. Can you come back?â
Her voice was very low. Only when Adrain leaned in did he clearly hear what she was whispering.
âEd?â
Was she calling for Edgar?
Adrain suppressed the displeasure in his heart and coaxed, âI wonât leave you, Grace. I wonât go anywhere.â
Grace did not respond. She collapsed on the sofa and fell asleep.
After Adrali asked Seventeen, he found that she was in a bad mood tonight and did not want to go back to their familyâs mansion.
The 7
When the two bodyguards left, he helped Grace out of the private room alone.
However, before he could take two steps, an extremely fast figure suddenly appeared in front of him which stunned him.
By the time he came to his senses, the woman he was supporting had already been moved into the other manâs arms.
The man wore a silver gray mask. Although he could not see his face, the rage was clearly visible in those black eyes, making the air around him drop low.
Just by looking at this mask, Adrain recognized him and greeted him with a smile.
âMr. Grant, what a coincidence. Are you here to unwind?â
Eder ignored him and carefully hugged the unconscious Grace in his arms.
After observing her state, Ederâs eyes were even more hostile. âShe has always been a good drinker.
How could she get this drunk? What have you done to her!â
