Chapter 9
The Millionaire And His Billionaire Ex-Wife
Hearing someone calling her name, Grace turned her head expressionlessly.
She guessed that Nancy and Edgar would show up, but ever since Edgar asked her to apologize in the villa, she had given up on him.
Currently, Edgar was just an unimportant ex-husband to her.
Smiling decently, she took Patricâs arm and went forward to socialize.
Seeing Grace and Patric walking toward her, Nancy was surprised, and she subconsciously turned to look at Edgar next to her.
Staring at Grace attentively, Edgar seemed shocked, yet no one knew what he was thinking about.
Because of what had happened during the day, he felt a little guilty.
But just a few hours later, not only did Grace change her appearance, but she h o o k e d up with another man!
Admittedly, she was indeed beautiful tonight.
Although they had been married for three years, he didnât know that she could be s amazing.
He thought, âCould it be that Patric is her new man?
âShe just got divorced in the morning, but she found a man at night. What the hell is going on?â
Edgar felt very strange in his heart. Looking indifferent, he was about to lose his temper.
He glared at Grace, who was walking toward him. He was waiting for a reasonable explanation from her.
As they were about to approach him, they turned around and shook hands with the president of the Boundless Glory Group with a smile, treating him like thin air!
Given what they were doing, they undoubtedly took him lightly.
He sensed that Patric also seemed hostile toward him.
Edgar looked more and more sullen, and Nancy became a little awkward. Just now, she had reached out her hand and planned to sow discord between them But Grace and Patric ignored her directly, and she had to hold back the words she had come up with.
Edgarâs younger sister, Mia Fallen, also came to the banquet. She was tasting champagne in the hall when she heard the commotion at the door.

Elder, Mia asked, âNancy, how did that Nancyâs eyes lit up as she whispered, âYou donât know yet, do you, Mia? Grace and Edgar got divorced in the morning. I didnât expect her to find a new backer so soon. I wish her all the best.â

Miaâs face gradually turned livid.
âBlessing my as s!â
She glared at Grace, who was socializing with Patric, and said, âShe just divorced Edgar in the morning, but she found another man to take her to such a high-end party in the evening. She moved so fast!â
She added, âThat bitc h! She must have h o o k e d up with the man before the divorce! How dare she cheat on Edgar? Iâll tear her face apart!â
Mia was hot-tempered. Feeling angry, she immediately rushed in Graceâs direction.
Nancy pretended to dissuade her and tried to pull her back, only to fail. Then she smiled in secret.
âSir!â
Hearing Miaâs shout, Patric turned around. Seeing his handsome face, Mia was in a daze.
How could there be such a man as handsome as Edgar in Frant City?
For a moment, she had never been as jealous of or angry with Grace in her life.
âWho are you?â
Patric glanced at her indifferently.
Grace moved closer to his ear with a smile and explained, âShe used to be my sister-in-law. Sheâs the most arrogant person in the Fallen family.â
Hearing this, Patric looked more gloomy.
Although Grace said that after moving close to Patric, her voice was not low, so Mia could hear her words clearly. The way Grace and Patric were intimate got on her nerves.
Given that this handsome guy was in front of her, Mia restrained the ferocious look on her face and tried to persuade him with kind words, but she spoke deliberately in a sharp voice. âSir, donât let this woman fool you. She was married! And sheâs not a noble lady at all. Sheâs just a liar from an orphanage! Sheâs a schemer. She used to have an affair with my grandfather. She⦠Oww!â
As Mia screamed, a crisp slap sounded.
Everyone in the entire banquet hall fell silent in an instant.
Covering her face with her hands, Mia looked at Grace, her eyes widened in disbelief.
âYou dare to hit me?â
